32 Chapter 32

I had to analyze the bits of information which sensei gave me to avoid wasting time during this mission. I dont know why but when I had left the base camp and advanced few ten kilometers away from it, I started to have a bad premonition about something which I could not put my finger upon. I believed in such things now because of my affinity with nature and instinct. So I simply decided to finish this mission as fast as possible and return to the base in a flash using Flying Thunder god.

There were countless civilian villages inside and on the way to Amegakure territory. I had to search from about three hundred kilometers area but there were still more than hundred civilian villages inside it. So after some brainstorming, I imagined which likely routes would Pakura and her group would take to travel towards our base camp.

After all the routes would be limited in number because they had to stealthy move more than two hundred ninja. I managed to reduce my search area to about ninety kilometers but it was still troublesome for a lazy character like me.

On the way, I had to cross some territory of land of Grass and felt bad when I saw the destruction caused by this war. Not only great hidden villages but also many small ones were involved in this war so many villages belonging to civilians and some ninja were destroying. The strong prey on the weak here and I once again conformed this fact strongly.

I met some ninja groups on the way too but easily dodged them because I was focused on my mission right now. They were scout parties of Iwa and Suna and were mostly anbu but they couldn't hope to find me because I had S rank stealth skill copied from Sakumo.

I guessed that someone may be have leaked the information about my mission because anbu wont be deployed in such numbers otherwise in this area which was long ago destroyed and completely looted away of any valuables. I did not think much because they wont find me anyway.

I reached the lands governed by Amegakure and again sighed time to time because the destruction did not stop at just human settlements here. Even the terrain was heavily destroyed by the shinobi fights. Ame would need a lot of manpower and money to recover from this loss. Maybe I could donate some money as I had earned great amount of it by selling low level storage scrolls to black market now. I discarded this thought because soon Pain would become the leader and start doing extreme things which I dont like. What pain , what peace? This world was already messed up and that guy wanted to mess it up more than that.

Now I was inside my search area so I created ten shadow clones and ordered them to search many villages, terrains, hidden caves, valleys etc inside their specified areas. I for one did not want to travel anymore so decided to make a temporary base inside a small forest.

I searched for an area which had dense trees and quickly used earth release to create an underground base. Here not many people would pass through because I could see that this area was inhabited by small but poisonous chakra beasts. Of course they were no threat to me but I let them live as they would serve as deterrent for people to not pass through this area in future.

I then started training my body after activating my weight seal's 15th level. Now training my body heavily daily had become my habit and I dont feel comfortable if I didnt complete it unless I was extremely busy with other things like battles and whatnot.

After three days, suddenly experience of one of my clones came inside my mind and I smirked because my guess was right and he found Pakura's group. He even managed to get the exact numbers and mission details from a chunin. My truth seal was really the best tool for gathering information straight out of enemies. I was Master level in fuinjutsu so I could substitute chakra ink for my own chakra now so creating familiar and low level seals became a breeze for me and my clones now.

Damn .. Suna was being really vicious with this tactice because the number and quality of this ambush group was great. The group had Pakura , seven elite jonin who were actually members of Suna's elite puppet squad directly under Chiyo. The number of jonin were 31 and the rest were all chunin class ninja. This group did not even have a genin inside their ranks which proved that they were completely serious on giving a heavy blow to Konoha by attacking their right flank fast and then merge with the main Suna forces as soon as possible to cooperate and destroy Konoha forces in one go.

Konoha should thank the genin who casually reported a suspicious civilian merchant group and sensei managed to figure out so much from the simple information and interrogation of a captured jonin from Suna main force..

I did not delay anymore because from their route and pace, the huge group would join the battle in at most three days from now and Konoha needed to quickly make a good plan and deploy their forces accordingly. We also needed to ask urgent reinforcements from the village as three of our elite jonin were already unable to battle due to Chiyo's damn poison. I tried to analyze it and create an antidote but failed because my copied knowledge is nowhere near up to the task yet. I hoped that Tsunade would come quickly because only she had the required knowledge and questions to create the antidote quickly..

I wrote everything I managed to confirm inside a small scroll . Then I opened a scroll given to me by sensei and after placing the small scroll inside the sealing formation, I quickly formed the hand signs of reverse summoning jutsu and with a Cloud of smoke, the small scroll vanished. This space time jutsu was really convenient.

I was glad that the chunin was away from their temporary camp and my Clone smoothly managed to make him unconscious. If he managed to give back the news to Pakura's group then they would have increased their advancing speed which would have proved disastrous for Konoha. After all the ambush group only took their sweet time now because they were focusing on stealth advance. If they had no choice to abandon it then they could reach our camp in just a day of time.. Konoha would have faced huge losses then.. Haha.. I will definitely gain great merit for this mission and contributing precise information.
