25 Chapter 25

The ninja used many battle styles which fell mainly in the ranks of stealth and frontal assault. The central battlefield was where both Suna and Konoha had gathered most of their elite forces and combined with the normal ninja , their numbers were more than three thousand on each side.

So stealth battle style was basically of no use due to the sheer number. Yami had arrived today and was told that large scale battle will happen in few days which meant at least one thousand ninja and the commanding strong ninja would take part in the battle.

Unlike others , Yami was too lazy to confront powerful ninja like Chiyo and Kazekage. He was more interested in looting no copying their powerful and special skills and paste them in his own STATUS. Right now one more goal has been added to which was to kill many enemies and collect kill points. He wanted to purify Uchiha bloodline and make it more powerful after all.

The night news uneventful though as Yami had no interest in patrolling missions or some other missions. He just wanted to use the huge desert area to his advantage and train in secret as much as he can.

The safest area would be the five kilometers long desert area between the base camp and Konoha borders. The enemy won't casually step foot in this area as they would be discoverd way easier than other locations.

Yami walked two kilometers behind the camp and used Earth release to create a huge underground living space there. The space was two kilometers long and wide which was more than enough for Yami to use. He wont use it much anyway because he only planned this place to become training place for his shadow clones. They needed to work on fuinjutsu and continue to improve it while thinking of new seal formulas and trying to create them.

He also planned to order several shadow clones to fight with each other using pure taijutsu while activating sharingan. He needed their experience to hasten the awakening of three tomoe sharingan in both eyes. Shadow clones just had too many uses for someone who had large chakra reserves.

First Yami created five shadow clones at once who who had good amount of chakra inside each of them. They were responsible for fuinjutsu research. Yami wanted to give them large chakra reserves because fuinjutsu practice needed that. As for taijutsu, not much chakra was needed but Yami still wanted to leave them with enough chakra so that each of them can activate their sharingan for long time.

Fortunately Yami already had mid kage level chakra reserves which were still constantly increasing daily. He just popped several food pills inside his mouth and immediately his chakra began to refill like crazy. This method was very painful one but nothing for Yami who had S rank pain resistance skill.

After only few minutes , his chakra was back to full capacity but his look was pale. He just felt very hungry because chakra was forcefully extracted from his cells. Yami immediately created one hundred shadow clones and the number was no problem for him at all. He still had one more job to do so he gritted his teeth and endured the extreme hunger for a little more time.

To not let any chakra fluctuations leak, Yami had inscribed a wide range chakra perception blocking seal plus simple illusion seal so that the Konoha sensors dont find anything out of normal here. Now he and his 5 shadow clones quickly inscribed many barrier seals on the walls of the personal underground base.

Yami proceeded to leave after placing his Flying Thunder God seal inside. He immediately deactivated the seals used to fool Konoha nin and returned to the base camp in few minutes. He was too damn hungry so after finding a small hidden corner, he took out several piping hot rice balls from his inventory and began furiously devouring them.

He had stored enough food to last him one year inside the inventory and most importantly it would always be in just finished cooking state as time stopped for items stored inside the inventory. Ramen , dango, miso soup , rice balls heck even his self cooked pizza of various flavors were there and Yami stored them gradually every day after the day he had copied the cooking skill. Military rations and food pills were just not Yami's cup of tea and he did not want to get used to eating them either ...

After half an hour, Yami burped in satisfaction as he was back to full energy again. His chakra was slowly recovering too. Yami decided not to waste time and immediately activated level 13 of his new weight seal. The seven centimeters long symbol in the middle of his chest glowed for a few seconds and Yami was instantly assaulted by huge pressure of increased weight. His current weight was 840 kg after all so the ground beneath him had many cracks from the sudden pressure .

Yami ignored and stretched his body while smiling because he could feel his cells being furiously activated. Yami loved this training method because each of his cell would have more compact strength and endurance inside after each session. The sage body had huge adaptability too which helped him increase his strength faster..
