24 Chapter 24

Unexpectedly Yami and his group did not encounter any more enemies on the way again. Yami did not find this much strange because he had already guessed that large scale battles must be going on. So the Sand village simply did not have enough forces to order them to intercept the Konoha team. It was not easy to bypass Konoha's security and infiltrate into the land of fire easily after all.

Yami finally relaxed as they met with an anbu who talked with Toru for a while before starting leading them towards the base camp. He immediately deactivated his sensor skill and started munching on some potato chips with a lazy expression on his face. On the way he could no eat much and his body simply demanded too much food intake now. So he did not want to miss any chance to eat as much as he can.

After the border huge unending desert continued and Yami and the group finally arrived at the camp after traveling for few minutes in the sandy desert . Their chunin were already started showing signs of extreme exhaustion because they had to carry heavy luggage mid way and travel at almost full speed without resting for more than one day.

They arrived at a huge space which was covered white tents of all sizes. The base was of at least four kilometers in width. Yami felt impressed because the patrolling ninja were spread out in a good defensive formation.

" Oh? Skikaku sensei .." Yami immediately got out of his thoughts because he saw Shikaku apparently waiting for him from the small smile on his face.

" So you have come here already .. I thought it would be at least one year later.. What a drag."

Shikaku sighed as he really wanted his student to relax in the village for more time.

Yami could feel the concern in the lazy tone so he smiled as his sensei was really a funny and intelligent character. " Sensei, I can see that the patrol is quite fierce. Are were preparing for a large scale battle soon now?"

Hearing Yami's innocent tone Shikaku just sighed because his student was so intelligent to notice the war situation roughly after just glancing at the patrol formation. He felt that he truly had nothing to teach Yami at all. " Hmm.. yea. You already guessed it right. The other battle fields with Suna have already started large scale battles. We will also start in next two days in this central battlefield.."

Yami frowned as his thoughts were right. He had dealt come at a very busy time which ruined his plans to train peacefully for a while.

Soon Toru reported their mission completion to the temporary mission counter and naturally the ninja were baffled when they heard about Yami's keen battle sense and strenght. Yami just found a corner where nobody would disturb him and decided to check the new sub function of the system which had suddenly unlocked when Yami killed his first enemy. Yami did not have time to check it before as they were constantly moving but now he was too eager to check it out as system would definitely unlock only broken functions.

And yes he was not disappointed because the function turned out to be way more broken than what Yami had expected. Under his Status tab , a sub function had unlocked .

KILL POINTS ( the residual pure soul energy absorbed by system after Host kills the enemy ) - 220 points.

( Note: 100 kill points can be used to purify one bloodline by 1 percent. )

Yami was stunned for a while before his face broke a huge grin from excitement. He could actually purify his bloodlines in future now. His abilities could be strengthened more. Yami even came to the best place to collect kill points as on the battlefield he can find enemies in huge numbers and kill them without any remorse .

Yami wanted to immediately use his current kill points to purify his Uchiha bloodline a little but he stopped his urge because he wanted to do that later in one go when Yami had collected enough kill points to purify Uchiha bloodline by hundred percent . There was one more logical reason which was that he did not have time to adapt to the increased powers of his sharingan currently either. Still Yami was surprised because Shisui's bloodline was more pure than he thought before. His estimation was about 50 percent but it actually was ten whole percent more pure..
