7 Chapter 7 — Clash of Titans

After Logan endured a traumatic encounter with the young man, he no longer considered confronting him. He understood that attempting to start a fight would be futile.

In his own eyes, Rain was a predator, and Logan was the prey. So, he chose to remain silent, just as Rain had instructed. He felt like a henchman obeying a grandmaster.

---

"It's such a sunny day," Rain muttered to himself as he strolled through the classroom halls on his way to his class. As he passed by, he noticed a strikingly beautiful and tall woman, taller than Mira Kim and Crystal Choi. Her pale complexion, dark blue eyes, and hourglass figure caught his attention. She had bleached blonde hair.

"I wonder why I've never heard of someone with exceptional Judo skills," the woman said, stopping in her tracks and drawing Rain's gaze.

"Yeah, I wonder," Rain replied, his voice laced with sarcasm. He continued walking past the woman, named Mary Kim, leaving her seething with anger.

As he settled into his desk, Rain overheard Zack and some friends discussing Jiho Park's involvement in a significant debt and how they could assist him.

---

On a rainy night, Rain walked the streets that served as a reminder of his painful past. He spotted a tattooed man with a friend who had unusually large ears, engaged in a conversation with someone.

"Jake Kim, I didn't recognize you at first. The king of illegal betting, the youngest leader of Big Deal, one of Seoul's most prominent crews," Jace spoke to the man now identified as Jake Kim, the mastermind behind Jiho's involvement in illegal betting.

"Give Jiho his money back, you scoundrel," Vasco addressed Jake with malice in his voice.

"No, thanks," Jake Kim replied.

"You're all the same," Vasco prepared to fight with a Muay Thai stance, emanating hostility.

"Wait! You know this is his territory, Vasco!" Jace exclaimed, attempting to restrain Vasco.

"Territory? Worried I'll call for reinforcements because of you kids? Huh? Bring it on," Jake replied with hostility.

---

"You're quite persistent. It's impressive the way you hold on like that. You should be an athlete; it's a waste of your body," Jake sighed, looking down at Vasco's battered form.

"HAHAHA! What a spectacle," Gun emerged from the dark alley, where Vasco and Jake had fought.

"You do have talent, but you're not ready to face him," Gun praised and belittled Vasco at the same time.

"I had my eye on Jake; he was the top candidate," Gun added.

"Was? Why are you using the past tense?" Jake asked.

"Well, that's why I'm here. As of today, you've failed. Such a shame," Gun replied, sounding disappointed.

"You said I'd be next! I worked my ass off to collect the money!" Jake shouted with anger, incensed by Gun's response.

"Rules are rules, it's a shame," Gun replied.

"To hell with it! I'm not who I used to be. I can take you by force! I don't care who's above you; I can just take over your crew," Jake removed his shirt, preparing for a fight.

"Well, you talk too much. Should I pull out your teeth this time?" Gun retorted.

"Still fixated on finding a candidate? You're as predictable as ever, Gun." This statement shocked Jake, Vasco, and Jace. Gun hadn't noticed him once again.

Rain leaned against a wall, sunglasses in hand, catching the attention of everyone present.

"Why do Rain's eyes look the same as that guy?" Vasco wondered aloud, bewildered by the revelation about the Fashion department student. He knew Rain wasn't ordinary, but he hadn't realized just how extraordinary he was.

"Well, if it isn't Savitar," Gun smirked.

"'Savitar?'" Jace and Jake exclaimed, equally astonished. Savitar was the moniker of the man who had singlehandedly dismantled numerous prominent crews in the past.

"That nickname no longer suits me, White Ghost," Rain replied, taunting him.

"When will you adjust your attitude? You should show more respect to your teacher!" Gun smirked, leaping at Rain with a thirst for blood.

That was the first time Jake, Jace, and Vasco witnessed two titans clash. They knew this was a battle they should not join. By merely observing, they realized their insignificance compared to Gun and Rain, and they became aware of the power structures above them.

"Who would have thought you'd become this powerful after being inactive?" Gun mused as Rain's and his fists collided.

"Yeah, I might have already surpassed you," Rain responded sarcastically, swiftly delivering a kick at Gun that was nearly imperceptible to the naked eye.

"Damn, I can't evade it," Gun thought as he absorbed the blow to his abdomen. It was excruciating; Rain was truly Gun's masterpiece.

Gun didn't back down, countering with a left hook to Rain's jaw, almost knocking him off balance.

"Now, it's time for the main event," Rain adjusted his stance, raising his arms and one leg, adopting a Muay Thai position.

"Get ready, Savitar. You won't see what's coming." Gun smirked with anticipation, taking up a stance that resembled Kyokushin Karate.

And then, they clashed.
