8 CHAPTER 8

His body tensed, it's felt like I asked the wrong question, I stared at him intensively, I almost had my doubt that he knew me, from somewhere he was just not going to tell me, first, he called me Theresa, now his aunt know my favorite flavor of ice cream, I'm starting to feel creepy now and expect if this is a mistake or luck.

“ I kinda guessed that is your favorite flavor” he answers scratching the back of his hair, " I had a friend who looks like you and acts like you, and this is her favorite flavor, I and my aunt felt that it going to be your favorite ice cream,” he says sheepishly still scratching his hair, trying not to make it creepy

“ Ohhh,” I say, trying to block the thought that he knows him because I'm very sure have never met him before. I dipped my spoon and scooped my ice cream, savoring the divine taste, and enjoying the view.

“ So” Justin breaks the silence

“ So "

“ How about a game of 20 questions,” he says smiling, I shrugged

“ Okay, start,” I say

“ Hmm” he taps his chin trying to think, “single or dating "

I snort at the question " Is that a question " I asked him, he smiled scratching

“ I don't date, boy or girl, so I'm single "

“ Princess, so you can't fall for me,” he says smirking at me

“ In your dreams, I bet you " I rolled my eyes

He laughed fall his head back,” your turn princess” he winked at me

“ Still on the princess thing,” I say smacking my head with my palm, he grinned at me

“ So are you gay?” I say winking at him, and he groans at the question, I laughed at him, mistakenly hitting my spoon on his head.

“ Ohhh shit " I widened my eyes and ran away, with him packing sand and chasing me

“ Thanks for the ride,” I say getting out of the car

“Sure new friend he smiled at me and I laughed and waved at him and enter my house

“ Honey, you're home” I turned and saw my dad laying on the couch near the door

“ Dad you're not sleeping yet, " I say, kneeling near him, he stood up reaching for my hand and pulled me up, as I stood up and for no reason, I felt someone's stare from the window, I turned and looked at the window and the person quickly run away from the window, I got confused, maybe it's a shadow because I saw Justin leave my compound

“ Dad go and sleep, I should sleep also, " I say turning away from the window, my dad kissed my forehead

“ Goodnight honey,” he says and entered his room, I looked at the window one last time and turn to go to my room

The ray of sunlight passes through the window, and I was shining bright at my face, I woke up feeling a little tired from the stress I went through yesterday, I sat up on the bed and took my laptop from the side of my pillow, switched it on, and my Wi-Fi, last week I updated my blur and I haven't had time to play it, since it's have been from new school to party, so you see no time, I reached for my cord by the order side of the table near my bed

Then my belle decided to make a funny sound, I need food.

I ran downstairs and saw my dad with his apron setting the table for breakfast

“ Hey Dad,” I said sitting on one of the dining chairs

“ What's for breakfast,” I said yawning

“ Breakfast ?” He asks, then laughs

“ Oh my God honey don't tell me you're expecting breakfast,” he says smiling

“ I don't get dad what else are we eating, " I asked looking confused

“ It's pasta tho " he shrugged

“What” I blurt out

“ What of coffee and toast or pancakes, " I asked trying not to cry, my dad knows I don't eat pasta in the morning

He laughed hard again, this time cleaning invisible tears, what the hell

“ I can see you don't remember, you need to be alive while sleeping,” he says still laughing, I was still staring at him weirdly

“ Honey to clear the confusion it's late afternoon,” he says,

I on my phone and checked the time ohhh shit, how did I sleep that much " I said, hitting my head, and trying not to laugh

“ So but there is coffee, right? “ I asked.

“ There was for you, I mean that was the last one until your friend Clara drank it which she asked you before she drank it, yea and min and Justin ate your toast, so do you remember now "

I looked at him blankly, then groan, you can't blame me for liking sleep, how did they even come, and I didn't know

“ Dad, so you're saying my friends came here,” I asked

“ Yea, but we are short of foodstuffs and some necessary things, so the handsome guy, Justin right yea, Justin volunteered to go, and he wants to take Clara on an apology date, so min follow them, according to them in the next 30 minutes, they should be coming back,” he says bringing the pot of sauce for the paste to the table

“ Oh wow, Justin was serious,” I said surprised that Justin wanted to do what I told him to do about Clara

“ Yea, he is such a sweet boy, nyinna, who knew you would have two hot guys as your friend,” he says winking at me

“ Ewwww dad, you sound like a woman " I gaged, my dad laughed

“ I'm not even interested in them,” I say, and it's earned me an eye roll from my dad

I felt a shadow left my window, and I stood up and followed the backdoor and come to my window outside, and it felt like someone jumped the fence, things have been going weird, first, a phone call saying my dad is dead, then I've been feeling like someone is stalking me, I looked around one last time and went inside and continue playing my game

“Bam!!” My room door open I turned and saw a grinning Clara, a smiling min, and a smirking Justin

“ Ohhh babe, you're finally awake, " Clara says grinning at me

“ I thought we were going to spend three more days before she woke up,” min says causing all of them to laugh, I stayed on my bed looking at them, allowing them to enjoy themselves, till they stopped and looked at me Justin raised his eyes brow, and I rolled my eyes

“ Welcome friends” I fake grin at them, they all snort

“ So what is it for Sunday,” min says laying on my bed

“ Nothing I guess, I say

“ So how was your date,” I said looking at Justin

Then he frowns” it wasn't a date, I only apologize for being an asshole to Clara as you instructed me to "

“Aww, my obedient s boy,” I say raising my hand to mess his hair

“ Okay that was a little creepy,” he says snorting

“ Whatever,” I say in a boring tone and all of us burst into laughter
