Prologue 2: In The Presence Of Lords

I have just been welcomed by God after killing myself, what's going on?

"Are you God?"

I somehow managed to not fall into a panic, but it's not like I'm calm either. I'm just acting confident so this "God" doesn't think of me in a bad way.

"Yes, I am what you people know as God, my name is Alexander though."

"Heeh??? God has a name?"

I guess you learn something new every day.

"hehe, it's not like I was born as God you know"

I'm confused, but there's something more important I have to know

"Sooo, what am I doing here? Is this heaven?"

Ending your own life is considered a sin that directly sends you to hell, but this place doesn't look like the hell I imagined was waiting for me in the afterlife, could this be heaven?

"No, it's not, you committed the grave sin of suicide, so you will not be getting sent to heaven."

"Yeah… I figured, but where is this place then."

"we're in a place between your world and the afterlife, I usually don't interfere with sinners… But as you might've been able to tell, I'm quite bored."

Uwa, these don't sound like the words of a God.

"Y-you're bored?"

And here I was, standing in front of a God, claiming to have brought me here out of boredom. Life really is full of surprises… Or should I say death is?

"W-what's wrong with that? Even gods get bored, you know."

Ah, I just saw God get flustered.

"What will happen to me? Will you send me to hell?"

"Well, now that you're here, I guess I wouldn't mind spending some more time with you, you should feel honored,"

"Oi oi, am I dealing with a God or with a kid here?"

I'm really starting to doubt if Alexander really is a God.

"Oh come on, if you hang out with me for a while I'll think about sending you to heaven."

Is it normal for dead people to negotiate with God? It isn't, right? No, it can't be, but I guess I'll give him what he wants for now and hang out with him for a while. After all, he's a God and I'm dead so I don't have much choice so I might as well just try to secure my place in heaven.

"As you wish, Lord Alexander."

"Hooh, so you've decided to lose your pride and give me what I want hmm, you're surprisingly clever for a human."

This guy... He's really getting on my nerves, but I guess I'll keep playing along.

"I am not worthy of such praise, Lord Alexander"

I could see Alexander's ego bursting through the non-existent roof, his first shitty posture has now changed into a proud and even cool posture.

"Very well. I, Lord Alexander, also known as God, grant you the right to call me Alex, the name only my friends are allowed to call me." God declared.

"Nice to meet you, Alex."

"Uhu! Nice to meet you too, Shin."

"Huh, how do you know my name, I haven't told you yet."

God raised his chin as steam came out of his nose

"I know everything, I am God after all."

His bold yet logical explanation made me think…

"Hey Alex, do you really know everything?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Can I ask you something then?"

I could see a confused look on Alex's face.

"Shin, as your friend I advise you not to ask any questions about how it's going on earth now that you're gone" He responded in a troubled tone.

"What do you mean?"

I have to know how it's going with mom and with Tomiko, I won't be able to move on if I don't.

"You are a victim of suicide, and now that you're dead it's pointless to carry the regret to the afterlife. If you ask me anything about what happened after your death, the answer won't do you any good"

"B-but I have to know, I don't deserve to peacefully pass on and forget my time on earth while the ones I care about are still suffering."

"You shouldn't have killed yourself if you really wanted to be there for them," Alex said in a now even more troubled tone.

Alexander was right, I couldn't say anything because I knew I was weak, I had always been selfish and weak. I wish I could get a second chance at life, so I could live it the right way.

SOMEWHERE IN ANOTHER WORLD:

"Sebastian, are the preparations ready?" (???)

"Yes, Lord Rouge." (Sebastian)

"Very well, then I shall finally begin my experiment." (Rouge)

"Yes, Lord Rouge, you have been researching summoning outsiders* for centuries now, surely this experiment will succeed." {*someone from another world}

"Yeah, indeed… for the past I-don't-know-how-many-centuries I have been researching and studying this so called 'impossible magic'. But now I will finally make the impossible come true, and I will summon an outsider as my strongest subordinate, The first of its kind, a hybrid between outsider and demon.

"You will finally be able to make this world yours again with this magic, Lord Rouge."

"Well then, we should commence.."

SHIN POV:

"Now, you have completed your end of the deal, so I guess it's time to complete mine now. As promised, I will send you to heaven, my friend" (Alex)

"Thanks, Alex. I hope I was able to satisfy your boredom" (Shin)

"well, ideally I would've preferred to hang out with you for a longer time, but I can't keep you in this place for too long."

It was finally time to say my goodbyes to God.

"I hope that if I ever die again, I'll meet you again."

I genuinely meant what I said, even though he was a rather 'unique' individual, he was the one to wake me up and realize I had to change. The god who had become my friend, Alexander.

"I too, hope we will meet again."

We said our goodbyes and gave each other a hand confirming our eternal friendship.

"We don't have much time left, I'll send you to heaven now"

/Sanctum San-

Alex was just in the middle of his incantation when suddenly, a bright, devilish red ring appeared beneath me.

"SHIN WATCH OUT" the god shouted.

"damn it, it's already too late."

"What do you mean it's too late, Alex. What's going on?"

"I don't have the time to go into detail, but you've been summoned by a demon lord from another world."

"Weren't you going to send me to heaven, Alex?"

Honestly, everything is happening so quickly, I don't know how to feel. I'm panicking.

"An insanely strong demon lord, whose strength and power even surpasses mine, has just summoned you, I don't know the reason though," Alex said in a panic

" I'm sorry Shin, but you will most likely be reincarnated in his world, and unfortunately, I can't stop that from happening. However, I will give you a skill that will make it easier for you to survive in that world. I pray for your safety." He added.

I felt a strange, but strong power awakening inside of me and I started losing consciousness. The last thing I heard was Alex's voice "live, my friend."

ROUGE POV:

"Damn it." (Rouge)

"Lord Rouge, did It fail?" (Sebastian)

I managed to summon his soul but he doesn't have a vessel, DAMN IT.. how could I forget about the vessel.

"I don't want to wait for centuries again to summon another outsider. Sebastian, get Estry here. "

"Y-yes Lord Rouge"

"You called for me, Lord Rouge? did you perhaps want me to accompany you to your bed tonight?"

Estry is one of my most loyal subordinates, she's a beautiful and tall vampire girl with long black hair, She's very clever but her mind is too lewd. Estry specializes in making homunculi so I'll use one of those as the vessel.

"Estry, I need one of your homunculi."

Homunculi are artificially constructed beings that look human, but are much stronger than humans, they also have exceptional regeneration ability.

"Very well, Lord Rouge, I shall bring one of my most recently made homunculus immediately."

Only a couple of minutes later and Estry had already returned with one of her homunculi.

"Here, Lord Rouge, this is Amon."

"Thank you, Estry, you may return."

"Yes, Lord Rouge, feel free to call me whenever you feel lonely at night." The vampire said before she returned to her laboratory.

"Now I just need to seal the soul of this outsider in this homunculus body."

"Did it work, Lord Rouge?"

"Tsk"

It worked, I successfully sealed his soul, but… it doesn't have any mana. This is no more than just a human on steroids now. Even a peasant could make a better warrior than this.

"Tsk?"

"Use your mana view, Sebastian"

"It… It doesn't seem to have any mana…"

Damn it, I spent centuries studying, researching, and even dreaming about this experiment, just for it to fail.

"Sebastian, dispose of this unsightly piece of trash."

"Yes, Lord Rouge."

SHIN POV:

W-where am I?

This place gives off a different vibe than earth does, even though it looks similar. I don't see anything else besides the ground, dead grass, and the sky.

"I got my body back? No, I wasn't this short, also… this body doesn't feel human, I don't feel any warmth from it, nor do I feel a heart beating in my chest.

Maybe it's because I-

"Have been reincarnated in another world? I remember being in the presence of something very strong and terrifying but my memories are quite hazy. Seems like Alexander was right though"

Wait, something has been bothering me all this time... I take my hand and put in my pants, and felt.... nothing.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO"

"That damned creature… he robbed me of my manhood… I'll make him pay, I swear I will."

Seems like I'm genderless. I didn't know humans could be genderless... I want to die.

[You are no longer human. When you were brought to this world, your soul got sealed in a homunculus body.]

An emotionless female voice in my head told me.

"HUAA who's there?"

[I am the skill that God has given you, Alexandria]

"Alex hmm, seems like he's a man of his word."

"By the way what did you mean when you said I'm no longer human."

[You are now no longer Shin, the human. You are now Amon, the homunculus]

"Homunculus? what's that"

[Homunculi are artificially constructed bodies that originally don't have a soul, but can be given one. They look like humans, but they are superior to them in every way, they also have exceptional healing ability.]

"Hey doesn't that make me pretty awesome?"

[If you think being a genderless monster is awesome, then yes.]

"Uwa, I don't know if I like being seen as a monster."

I tried thinking back to what happened while I was only half-conscious, but it's no good… I can only faintly remember some things. But for some reason, all I know is that I am no longer Shin but I now am Amon.

After some hours of aimlessly walking, I found a small puddle of water, I lean above the water and see my reflection. Medium-long black hair and almost colorless eyes, oh and it looks like I'm about 140 centimeters, which pisses me off... I used to be 178 centimeters you know.

"Seems like I finally have the black hair I've always wanted though"

After cooling off from the water (although i don't really get hot.. because I'm a homunculus) I figured I need to learn more about my new skill, Alexandria.

"Sooo... what can you do, Alexandria"

[I am a voice only you can hear, Lord Alexander has programmed me to guide you in this new world]

"Oh, that sort of sounds like you're some fantasy A.I."

[tsk]

"oi did you just... anyway, Is there any way for me to go back to earth?"

[being summoned to this world was a one-way trip so you won't be able to return to your own world. Besides, in your old world you're already dead.]

Oh, so I am stuck In a world I know nothing off. A world where demons and magic are a thing. In a frail 140 centimeter body...
