One and Only Cure

ZiNuo Pov:

"Are there any long-term side effects?" I asked.

"There will be, but I haven't seen a single survivor of this poison without it. Plus Teng Sect isn't persuaded easily by anyone, they have more money than anyone, and that money can get them anything they want. You have to give them something they don't have. Well, I don't know about you young man, but you better get going to the Sect if you want him to survive," the doctor said as he started to dig in a nearby drawer.

"How long is he going to last before the cure is of no use?" I asked.

"Three days after the poison spreads throughout his entire body, he'll be gone even if the medicine is a second late."I nodded in return.

"Where would I find the Teng Sect at?"

"In the middle of the capital."I grabbed the mysterious sword and shrank the size of the sword, continued to shrink YuHan's sword, placing it into YuHan's bag, and leaving the bag right next to YuHan's body.

"Keep this bag safe till I come back, do not let anyone touch it, this guy laying here would kill anyone to take his stuff back, when he wakes up," I said as I walked out of the room.

"I will do as promised," I heard the doctor say. I walked quickly around the streets and I stopped near the hotel again. I looked around and saw a familiar face, Teng XiaQing. She was in front of the hotel, why was she there? Perhaps waiting or trying to find me? Or does she have something else to do here? She turned around in my direction and I turned around so my face wouldn't face her, but I felt a sudden tap on my shoulder.

"Is that you Yin Gongzi?" she shouted, oh my lord, when did the heavenly lords wanted to punish me, I didn't see this girl for two days, but when I come back to the capital, she's the first person I bump into, the heavenly lords I have done nothing, but wanted to save my friend.

"Turn around when I talk to you," she said. I turned around to face her. "So it is you, Yin Gongzi. Where is your friend?" she asked.

"He's resting somewhere, I lost him so I came back to the hotel."

"You sure he's not in a hospital bed?" she asked. How does she ask something like that? Wait, she's from the Teng Sect and the only person who we have interacted with from that Sect is her, could she be the possible cause of this?

"Bring me to the Teng sect," I said bluntly.

"Want to meet my family already?" she smiled.

"Just wanted to visit different Sects while I have my freedom to walk around," I said.

"I'll take you with me since I'm returning to see my father," she smiled as she grabbed my hand and we started to walk.

"Quite uncomfortable, Miss Teng, could you please let go?"I asked.

"Whatever," she said as she loosens the grip.

A few hours later, I arrived at the Teng Sect with Miss Teng, an old man was waiting outside. "Father, I have returned," she said as she ran up to her father and I followed slowly.

"Welcome back my daughter, your mother cooked us your favorite dishes for dinner today," he smiled. "And who is this young man you brought?"

"Yin Sect's eldest son, Yin ZiNuo," XiaQing said.

"What brings you here young man?"Teng Sect leader asked.

"I just wanted to look around the capitals and explore different Sects as I come by while on a journey with a friend. I wanted to look around the Teng Sect because Miss Teng offered it," I smiled.

"Where are you going to next after looking at my Sect?" he asked.

"Anywhere that the world would lead me to, let fate decide."I watched XiaQing whisper something into her father's ear.

"Would you like to stay and have a meal since the night is about to approach?"

"If you insist," I smiled.

Night approached and I was sitting at a table with the Teng Sect leader, his wife, and Teng XiaQing. The table was filled with various dishes and there was wine on the table.

"This gongzi is very handsome," Miss Teng complimented.

"I told you, mother, he's very good-looking, and so are many other Yin Sect members," XiaQing said.

"My little brother is much preferred if you ask me, young lady Teng would fall for him more than me," I said. XiaQing looked kind of sad and looked at her mother. "I smell the capital's wine here."

"Very impressed you could tell what wine this is," Mister Teng said.

"I drink enough wine to know my way around," I said as he poured wine for himself and me.

During dinner I kept drinking wine, I felt a bit lightheaded, but not till the point where everything was blurry. "Look at Yin Gongzi, he looks drunk, someone send him to his room," Mister Teng commanded his servants.

"It's fine, I can find my way through, and I can walk on my own," I said as I got up from the seat, walking out of the dining room. Once I was out of sight, I jumped up to the roof of the Teng Sect. Do they really think just that bit of wine can knock me out? I drink enough to get through an entire session where the other person is knocked out and I can still spin a thin needle on my hand without worrying it's going to stab me. I looked around and jumped from one roof to another to the very corner of the Sect. I sat down and looked around to see a bright light coming from the small housing. I flung a needle through the paper sheeted door, as the needle came back in my hands, the door of the house flings open, revealing a young man with white hair.

"I know someone is here," he said. I jumped down and walked towards him.

"It's me, but you probably don't know who I am though," I said.

"Infamous with wine and being drunk, doesn't own a sword, and uses needles. Yin Sect eldest son, Yin ZiNuo," he said.

"Woah," I said as I clapped my hands. "Guessed absolutely correct, but you shouldn't always listen to rumors about me because only half of them are true and the rest are lies."

"Seems like your alcohol tolerance is better than what people describe," he said.

"What's a guy like you living in the Teng Sect? In the very corner of their huge Sect? And white hair at such a young age, what a waste of a beautiful face, "I said as I played around with the needle in my hand.

"Do I look that young? I'm already in my early thirties and don't have enough time left in this world, but enough about me. What brings you here?"
