Yeah, that's right, next season we are going to be the best team in the NBA. Lebron is going to finally get some rest, we are all going to get better and we got a new coach. Who is going to stop us? Golden State? They all injured. Toronto? Lebron > Kawhi. Bucks? Lebron > Giannis. OKC? Westbrook is a statpadder, Lebron > PG. Celtics? They ain't getting Kyrie back. Rockets? I'm locking up.

The future of the Lakers is looking brighter than ever.

Then Zo gets a call from his agent that changes his life forever...

"Yo wassup, it's Lonzo hustle on the phone."

"Zo, I hate to break this to you... but you've been traded."

"You serious?"

"Yeah..."

It took a few minutes for Lonzo to recover from his shock... the Lakers traded him? Where? Why? For who? He did hear rumours about an Anthony Davis trade but he never believed in them. Why would the Lakers organisation or... LeGM trade their next star, the Young King? He even had that moment "Lebronzo" where they both had a triple-double. Lebron was his idol, his favourite player. It didn't make any sense.

"You, Brandon and a few first round picks for Anthony Davis."

"You're saying I'm playing for the... PELICANS!? THE PELICANS!? REALLY? What about KUZ?"

"Kuzma wasn't traded."

"DAMN IT."

Lonzo ends the call in frustration.

The head coach approached Lonzo Ball when he entered the facility.

"Welcome to the training facility, Lonzo Ball. This is where you will be doing most of your practising."

"Aight Coach, can I shoot around for a bit?"

"Oh... alright then. The basketballs are right there."

The coach pointed to the basketball rack. Lonzo came over and got himself a basketball. His anger from hearing about the trade resurfaced. He was going to vent out his frustrations on the rim. There will be no mercy...
