1 You took them all with you

It was just a typical day for me. For the past few weeks I could tell something was wrong. The feeling of the person I loved most slowly pulling away from me. Yet I was too naive and believed that it could be fixed because he still loved me. It all ended with a phone call while I was on a break at work. My sister watched my face as he spoke to me on the phone and explained that things between us weren't going to work out. All I could muster up to say was "Okay...okay...okay I have to go, I need to get back to work." He responded, "That's understandable, I hope we can still be cool." But little did I know someone had been working behind the scenes to turn all of my friends against me, using my own words and twisting the context of them to suit their needs. In one night I lost my boyfriend and my whole friend group. It was like I was on a tightrope unharnessed and my net was pulled out from underneath. One false step and I would fall to my death.
