Two weeks before Jennifer's Due Date - May 14...

Filing some papers into the filing cabinet at the office building. Grabbing a few different ones, I got a meeting in seven minutes. It's a monthly meeting with all head managers of the different floors in the company. To see how well the company is doing and what's not going well. Going into the conference room, I place the files down on the table. Everyone starts to enter the room. Before I took my seat, I put my hand in my pant pocket, trying to grab my phone. Except my phone wasn't in my pocket checking my other pockets, it wasn't in them either.

"Hey, what you looking for?" Nolan asks me.

"My phone." Telling him.

"You misplaced your phone? that not like you."

"I know with Jennifer being so close to the due date. My mind has been a little preoccupied. I'm going to look in my office." Leaving the conference room and going into my office, my phone was sitting on my desk. Grabbing my phone, I had twelve missed calls in a row, and they were all Jennifer. Pulling up her contact on my phone, I call her, it rang once.

"Jennifer, what's going on?" Asking her.

"Kendrick, my water just broke, and I am on my way to the hospital," Jennifer says in a panic but excited kind of tone. Hearing those words, my throat got all tight, including my chest. Panic hit me as well. "Kendrick?.. You still there?"

"Who taking you?" I really didn't want her driving herself.

"Mrs. Conners." Thank goodness that a small weight off my chest.

"Alright, I'm on my way. I will meet you guys there."

"Alright, love you bye."

"Love you bye." Hanging the phone up and sending Mr. Hollows a message to get the car.

I leave the office and let my secretary know to let Nolan know to start the meeting without me. Getting to the parking garage, I get in the car and head to the hospital. Getting to the hospital and going to the labor wing, I go to the desk.

"Hi, how can I help you?" A desk secretary asks.

"My wife is in Labor. The name is Jennifer Ryans." She looks at the computer screen and types on the keyboard.

"Yes, of course, she is in the room straight down this hall, the second door on the right." Giving her a nod, I go straight to Jennifer's room. Entering the room, Jennifer was lying in bed hook up to some different machines.

"Hey, babydoll." Saying hi to my girl.

"You're finally here," she says with a big smile.

"Yea, I'm finally here." Taking a seat next to her and taking her hand.

"She is finally coming. I will be able to hold her soon."

"Yea, you will." She smiles at me, and I returned it to her. The hospital room door opens, and a nurse comes in. She was an older nurse. She had short blonde hair with a little grey in it.

"Hi, I'm Linda. I'm Jennifer nurse." The nurse says

"Kendrick, and I am the husband."

"Nice to meet you. Jennifer, I need to check and see how far dilated you are." Jennifer nods her head. The nurse checks to see how much longer we have to wait.

"Jennifer, do you feel like pushing?"

"Yes." Jennifer answers.

"Well, you are dilated far enough. Just let me grab doctor Hansen." The nurse says and leaves the room.

After few minutes, the doctor and a couple of nurses come in with the equipment. And got Jennifer ready to have the baby. Jennifer takes my hand and squeezes it as she pushed. After a few minutes, our little girl was born. The moment that I heard her little cry, I felt nothing but proudness and joy only a parent would understand. After they get her cleaned up, they gave her to Jennifer to hold. The light in her eyes shined bright as she looked at our baby. Jennifer looked up at me and smiled big.

"Do you want to hold her?" Jennifer asks me. Nodding my head, she hands me the baby. Holding her the first time, the words I felt were indescribable, and it was the best thing I felt. After holding her a few minutes, the nurses took her to clean and weigh her.

After a few hours, my parents, Cassidy, and Nolan, and his family made it to the hospital. They visited for a while. While they were visiting, I left to get a small bag of clothes for Jennifer and myself. When I got back, everyone had left, placing a bag on a chair quietly as I could. Jennifer and the baby were asleep together in her hospital bed. As cheesy as this sounds by watching them both sleep. It tugged my heart in ways it has never been tugged, and that's when it hit me. This woman right here is Mine To Love forever. And this child and any other child we have together will be Mine To Protect, To Care For, and Mine to love.

I have always believed I wasn't worthy of the kind of love she gives me, and I also believed I wasn't worthy of giving it. But ever since Jennifer has come into my life, it all changed. In ways, I didn't even know she saved me from becoming a man I wouldn't have recognized. It also saved a cold heart from freezing into an empty block of ice. I know we still have a long way to go before my heart is completely unthawed, and I know this woman right here is the one that is going to do that.

Taking a seat next to her, Jennifer wakes up and looks up at me. Damn what those delicious brown eyes do to me.

"Hey.." She says quietly

"Hey.." Greeting her back.

"When did you get here?

"A few minutes ago." Looking down at the baby in arms.

"Did you want to hold her?" Nodding my head softly, I take the baby in my arms. I couldn't help but smile at her. "we still need to give her a name."

"I was thinking Allison Rose Ryans, and we can call Alli for short." Looking back at her, she had tears streaming down her face.

"You wanna name her after my grandma and mom?"

"Yea, if that's fine with you?"

"It's perfect." Taking her hand in mine, and I place a kiss on her forehead.

Five Years Later...

On my way home from the office fast as I could. Jennifer called me, letting me know Allison has run and hid from the nanny from getting in trouble. Getting home and pulling up in the driveway. Getting out of the car fast as I could, Jennifer held our nine-month-old boy Kaden waiting outside for me with the Nanny.

"I have looked every Kendrick I can't find her," Jennifer says with panic with tears streaming.

"Let's double-check everywhere, alright, just to make sure." Trying to calm her down the best I can. She shook her head, and we split up. After searching for a few minutes and calling for Allison, nobody could still find her. Thinking of one place, she might be I go to the music room. I could hear small sniffles. Walking towards the sniffles, I open the closet in the music room. The moment my eyes landed on her, I felt nothing but relief.

"Hey, Monkey," I say to her while kneeling in front of her. She just sniffled some more. "Why are you hiding from everybody? What happened?"

"I got in trouble with Nanny Kim."

"Why?"

"Because I accidentally spilled some juice on her phone. The way she yelled at me scared me."

"I see.." Moving into the closet further, I sit next to her wrapping my arm around her and hugged her to me. Sending Jennifer a text I found her and to give me a minute to talk to her. "Does Nanny Kim know it was an accident?"

"I don't know before I could tell her, she yelled at me."

"Allison, when or if something like this happens again, you can't hide from us, okay? Mom and I were worried sick, not to mention everyone else was worried too."

"Alright... Hey daddy?"

"Yea, Monkey?"

"Please don't fire Nanny Kim. I really like her more than the last Nanny."

"Before I make any decision, let's go talk to her, alright?"

"Okay.."

Fixing the misunderstanding, Nanny Kim and Allison fixed their problem. Fully understanding the situation, we kept Kim as her nanny. Thanks for Jennifer's soft and understanding heart. If it were my way, I would be sending her packing. After dinner, I went up to Jennifer and my room, taking off my shirt, leaving in my suit pants, and sat down on the bed, rubbing my face with tiredness and from the stress from earlier.

"She a lot like, you know," Jennifer says from the bathroom.

"Who?" Asking her.

"Allison... It's probably why you guys get along so well."

"Hmm... think so?"

"Yea, I do," Jennifer says as she comes out of the bathroom and stands in front of me. Looking up from her bare legs and looking up further, she was wearing a towel. And her hair was pulled up. Damn, the way this woman makes me feel, I could my manhood perk up from seeing her like this. "Well, I guess we're in big trouble then because I was a big trouble maker."

"How well I know I have heard the stories from your mother as well, Melanie." She pushes me back onto the bed.

"Really? like what?"

"How when you were in London, you stood on the hood of a car with Melanie while James drove it at descent fast speed. And while doing it, you fell off and broke your arm and collar bone." She sits on top of me.

"She told you that, huh?"

"Yea, and she also told me about all the girls that would swarm you. An about some of the things you would do with them."

"Really? What kind of stuff?"

"Things like this.."

She leans down she starts to kiss on my chest with little nipping. I grab onto her hips. She works her way up my neck making her way to my lips. Her lips fought against mine for dominance. I loved how she tried every time, and I would always end up taking over. Slipping her tongue into my mouth, and that's where I took over. Sitting up slowly, I removed the towel around her, tossing it to the floor. Holding onto her, I moved to where she was underneath me. Taking over what she began kissing and nipping on her neck till I worked my way down to the middle of her legs. Tasting her sweetness and saltiness while holding her hips so she could buck away from me. After a few minutes of my torture, I strip the rest of my clothing and put a condom on. Then I work my way back up to her till my mouth reached hers. Holding her hands in mine, pinning her against the bed. Pushing my erected member into her delicious pink flower. It started with a slow rhythm till it heated into something faster and heavy. Fucking her hard as I could, she begged to be on top. Letting her be on top, she finished with it being fast and heavy. Until we both reach our climax. Laying next to me, we both try to catch our breaths.

"Love me forever?" She asks. Looking at her, she was looking at me.

"Till the end of time." Telling her, she smiled big and started to kiss me again.
