17 Ch17- Fei Mei Lien

"Now, let us have a little chat, cute little human" the beautiful Serpent Empress said more seriously. "Can you tell me how you were able to break throught that Black Hole Seal? Furtheremore, how could you have innate qi when you're still so young?"

"I knew that the Black Jade pendant was an artifact, but I wasn't sure about its use and functions. On a hunch, I thought it was something that would be activated with blood. As for achieving innate qi, it was thanks to a a special cultivation technique I found, some hard work, and my exceptional aptitude."

She frowned, then nodded and agreed. Then she explained that he was special among the humans because the seal was supposed to destroy anything, and she was only able to ensure that her soul wouldn't disappear. Yet he arrived there in one piece, and it was his blood that had awakened her from a 10 000 years deep sleep. And he was going to be one of the youngest innate ever.

He took one of her hand in his. The current body she had to interact with him lacked substance, that much he knew from canon, but he could also feel it. She quickly snatched her hand back.

"Idiot, don't touch a woman's body as you like! Not to mention that I'm an empress."

"Say the woman who kissed me without even introducing herself first" he replied with a teasing smile.

"You sure have guts. Aren't you afraid of me killing you, take over your body and escape from this Black Hole Seal?"

"I think that if you could and wanted to, you wouldn't have bothered to talk to me. Also, I don't feel threatened, like I know you won't hurt me."

"You have good instincts. We already signed a Spirit Blood Contract. Your blood didn't just awaken me from my eternal sleep, it invaded my spirit and forcefully performed the contract. I really can't understand how, within the 3 worlds, there is an existance such as you. Little fellow, are you really human?"

"I am, though, I'm starting to suspect I have some non-human blood from at least one of my ancestors."

"I guess that could explain why you were able to form a spirit blood contract, because only gods are supposed to be able to do that."

"Oh..." 'That was a detail I had forgotten.'"Guardian beasts die when their summoner is killed. Is it going to be the same with you because of that contract?"

"That's right, cute little human. This is really too pitiful..."

"Don't worry, gorgeous empress" he said with a small bow. "I didn't awaken you from your sleep to take you to the grave with me soon after. I'll grow strong enough to release you from this prison so you can see the world again. I'll be careful not to meet an untimely end until then, and keep living long after you're freed. I look forward to spending more time with you in the future."

In his former life as Samuel, he had read his share of ecchi mangas and hentai. He had developped a taste for monster girls. Not all of them, but more than a few.

It had started with a hentai, in a fantasy world, where a young man had saved a lamia chased by villagers, and housed her until her injuries were healed. When it was time to leave, they didn't want to be separated and ended up having sex. In the end, they left to live in the lamia village as husband and wife. Right in front of him was a gorgeous lamia-like monster girl who could easily become one of his wives in the future. He would do his best to get her.

"I probably cannot leave for eternity, since there is no way to leave the Black Hole Seal without a body. But I thank you for your intentions."

"Do not worry, my lady. I'm certain I will find a way to free you." 'My gamer cheat will help me.' "Still, do you know of a way I could protect myself if I suddenly find myself facing a lv7 overlord or higher? I'm only a lv3 hero, and while I'm quite strong for that level with many tricks, I'm not sure I would be able to deal with someone above lv6 elder." "It's good that you know your limitations and are thinking of worst case scenarios" she said with a sigh, before turning very serious. "If you want a real chance to free me, you wil at least have to be stronger than me, and stronger than the person who sealed me. Until then, your life will be at great risk..." then she brightened. "Oh yes, since your blood is similar to God's Blood, perhaps it may be able to resurrect her..."

The Empress raised her hand and summoned a rainbow colored pet's egg. Yue Yang smiled in anticipation.

"She is my guard captain. She died protecting me before I was sealed. I had no way to ressurect her, so I turned her back to her former state. If your blood can ressurect her, then she would be able to help you with small matters bellow innate rank. I cannot guarantee that she retained all her battle experience."

Fei Wen Li bit her thumb and drew a strange rune on the surface with her blood. It wasn't a heaven rune, but an ancient rune, that much he was certain. She gestured for Yue Yang to extend his hand, opened a small cut on his palm, and laid the rainbow clored egg on the small wound. The egg was like a vampire frantically absorbing his blood, and it started to glow brighter and brighter.

Yue Yang didn't remain idle, he actively channeled his innate qi into the egg. A little trick he discovered about his inventory, was that he could use consummable items such as recovery potions and pills, without taking them out first. They would appear directly in his stomach. So he had consummed an energy potion and a minor blood replenishing pill. It was a good thing since they would have been destroyed within the seal. This feeding took some time.

A strong light arose, leaving the image of a Demon Serpent Warrior over 10m tall. The image lasted less than a second as the light was sucked away by the black hole space.

The egg melted into blood on his hand, which travelled along his arm in a runic patern. When it reached his chest, the patern took the exquisite form of a demon serpent with 6 arms raised high, each holding a different weapon. Its long serpent tail coiled around Yue Yang waist. Then it moved as if brough to life and flew out of his body under the form of a rainbow colored light.

In the next instant it shooted toward Empress Fei Wen Li's body.

"Goodness gracious" she nearly shouted as she tried to prevent the light from entering her with her 6 arms. A flash of hesitation appeared on her face, and she allowed the light to enter her body.

Yue Yang wanted the little serpent girl to be reborn with as much power as possible, so when the light entered the Empress body, he warped his arm around her waist and kissed her. Consumming another energy potion, and remembering how she had drained his qi before, he pushed more of his qi into her as he held her against him. While surprised, she quickly got along with it.

With a flash of light, a young girl appeared from an exquisiste patern on the Empress body.Yue Yang released the Serpent Empress and took a step back, partly due to dizziness, and partly due to the apperance of the newcomer.

Unlike its canon counterpart which appeared to be about the same age as Yue Shuang, this one looked to be about 12-13 years old, looking like a young replica of Fei Wen Li, but with crimson hairs instead of her golden blond hairs. She was holding onto the Empress waist, but her unblinking eyes were set on Yue Yang. She looked at him with both caution and expectation, as if wanting to reach out to him, but to shy to do so.

"Heavens!" The Serpent Empress exclaimed with tiredness and relief. "After this little fellow was revived by your blood, she actually went as far as to come back to suck out my life energy. Without your support, I would have been doomed, unable to recover even after 1000 years of sleep."

As she said that, she was sweating, and half of her tail had disappeared.

His canon counterpart had called the little girl Xiao Wen Li, basically 'Little Wen Li', due to being a little version of the Empress. He always though that it was lazy naming on his part. He decided to give a proper name. He knelt down in front of her and gently patted her head. She tilted her head closer to him, her eyes narrowing in appreciation.

"Welcome back to the world. Enjoy your new life, Fei Mei Lien."

"Beautiful Lotus? That's a nice name you've chosen for her" Fei Wen Li said as she cuddled her. "And did you just give her my family name? Well, it is fitting anyway" she finished with a little blush.

He thought she was a little like a lotus flower. The lower part connected to water, the upper part connected to air, with vibrant colors.

"I think it's time for you to go, cute fellow" she said while swaying a little. "We both used a lot of energy. You should leave while you still can, and I don't think she should stay here longer than necessary. If she has maintained her battle memories, anything you encounter and don't understand, you can ask her about it."

She looked really sad when saying it, and he understood that she didn't want to be alone again.

"Don't worry, my lady" he said as he took the newly named Mei Lien in his arms. "We will visit you from time to time. At the very least, once a year. You can expect us in less than a year for our next visit. It's a promise."

He let the little girl give her one last hug before taking a few steps away from her. Yue Yang had become quite familiar with his Instant Dungeon skill, and he had made some decent progress in the cultivation of his space affinity. Thus, he was able to exit the Black Hole space on his own. The process had similarities to exiting an ID, and felt like traveling hundreds thousands of miles in an instant. It also reminded him of his time in the afterlife, and he suppressed a shudder.

He found himself back in his room, with the serpent demon tattoo on his body. He was of course naked, so he quickly dressed himself. Checking his grimoire, he saw that she had become his second Guardian Beast. The difference was that there was no limit to the duration of the summon.

Her entry said that she was the Mysterious Serpent Demon. A Nymphal State, sentient, humanoid beast. She was also a level 1 platinium ranked beast with unlimited vitality and her own grimoire. After summoning her, he had her summon her own grimoire so he could check her innate skill and her beasts. He bought her a tube top and a miniskirt made of silk. They were simple and easy to put on. She had only needed minimal help to put them on as they weren't common clothe styles.

She had a platinium grimoire, with the Binding innate skill at level 1, and 4 guardians beasts: the Stone Element Medusa, the Storm Mermaid, the Thunderbost Naga and the Ice Serpent Demon. It was no wonder the Empress had chosen her as guard captain.

She was different from her canon counterpart, but he wasn't going to complain. After confirming all of that he went to bed and nearly intantly fell asleep. Mei Lien happily joined him.
