12 Ch12 - Planning with the ladies

After explaining his plans to the girls and women presents, Yue Yang proceededto the next step.

"Now that you girls know the basics of what you will be doing in the future, I have to select those who will look after my family, those who will be my attanedants, and those who will be my employes. For the first 2 groups, I have to assess your physical potential. So, everybody line up, I will perform a quick examination. Lin Shuren, you're first."

Since she was already next to him, she just turned to face him and started to remove her clothes. Yue Yang was stunned for a second, but then shrugged and let her continue with a smirk hidden behind his mask. The others looked with a bit more anxiousness, seeing Shuren's actions. Once she got down to her underwear, she stood tall in front of him, not ashamed to stand in that state in front of him. She had a lean hourglass body, with D-cup breasts halfway between cone and bowl shaped, and a pretty heart-shaped apple butt. After observing her, he nodded his head and spoke with clear amusement in his voice.

"You know, you didn't need to remove your clothes for me to examine you. But since you wanted to show me your beautiful body, what kind of man would I be if I refused? Thank you for the view, now I shall proceed with business."

Her cheeks darkened and a flicker of embarrassement passed in her eyes. The others in the room were clearly amused by that, but refrained from making a sound. The man in front of them was now their new master, and they didn't want to appear undisciplined, a habit gained from having to deal with Tie Kang and his peons. And with him being their saviour and avenger, they didn't want to do anything that could disappoint him.

Yue Yang placed the palm of his hand on Shuren's belly. He used a combination of Structural Grasp and Divine Vision to read the state and quality of the body, and see the innate talents of the individual.

Lin Shuren had an above average aptitude for cultivation. Nice, but nothing noteworthy. She could become quite good, but would probably be unable to reach the innate realm. If she did, it would be on the level of those fake innates, spoon-fed people with poor foundation that couldn't advance above innate level 2. But it was fine, as he wanted her to be the manager of his little organisation on Soaring Dragon's continent. She had the aptitude for that, and the others already saw her as their representative.

After several seconds, he removed his hand and told her he was done, then he called the next person. It was a younger girl, in her late teens like him, and quite pleasant to the eyes. She bowed to him as she introduced herself.

Like Shuren, she removed her clothes, but unlike her, she performed it like an exposition. She showed of what she was made of so he could properly judge her looks as well. And that became a standard for all examinations. In his heart, Yue Yang thanked both her and Shuren for being such great role models. In the end, he selected 15 people to be trained in combat skills. The other 13 would be trained in various skills for his business.

With subordinates aquired, he needed a base. For that, he needed to aquire a propriety, and the abandonned one they were currently using would do. Especially once he performed a bit of remoddeling. He checked his status to see how much money he had.

He had 153 800 credits, 137 gold coins, 193 silver coins, 434 copper coins, and that was without counting what he could earn by selling loot from Tie Kang's home. He also aquired new items from the dungeon's treasure chests. He got might and mind pills, which improved strenght and constitution for the former, and wisdom and spirit for the later; quite usefull to improve the basic attributes of beginner cultivators like the girls and women who just entered his service.

He had enough gold coins to aquire the property. He would need to set up a training area, and that wouldn't be a problem. After reaching level 20 with Instant Dungeon, he could now stick an ID in a place, and leave it there. He could access it at any time, and even set up a door for entrance and exit. He could go into a broom closet, create an empty ID there, and use the door of the closet as the entrance of the ID. The ladies would have their private area for training.

"Alright ladies. That will be all for today. Remember this place, as I intend to aquire it and remodel it a bit. I'm waiting for Chang Dao and Xie Huo to show up, so if you see them, inform Shuren. Shuren, I'll see you at your home every morning and evening to see if any of you saw them. I'll also tell you when this place is ready for further use. Is that clear everyone?"

"... Good. Have a nice day, ladies."

And with that said, Yue Yang disappeared from their senses. He really like to pull that appearing/disappearing act on the girls.

"Good evening Yi Nan."

Said girl froze as she heard the voice behind her. The sun was low on the horizon, and she was on a shadowed roof a little distance away from the Mercenary Guild. She was on the look-out for her new temporary partner, with whom she was supposed to meet. She knew he was skilled in stealth, and took it as a personal challenge to sense his presence when he was hidding. Despite being very focused on her surroundings, she completly missed his arrival. If not for knowing he was coming, she would have either lashed out, or jumped with a high pitched scream in surprise.

She slowly turned her head to look behind her, finding him crouched, his arms on his tights, looking totally relaxed. There was even hints of amusement, and it irritated her for obvious reasons.

"Good evening, Han Jeehan. Did you have a productive day?"

"Yes, my days are always productive. Let's move to a place where we're less likely to be discovered and spied on. Follow me."

He took her not to the place he chose as base, but another less populated area, in a tree. Yue Yang put himself in a confortable position and adressed his companion.

"I've been informed that Tie Kang's partners in crime wouldn't be in the City for a week, more or less. We have several days ahead of us, and I can check with my contact twice per day to know when they enter the city. During that time, how about training together?"

"I don't see why not. We can get to know each other and be able to fight better as teammates. It's certainly better than hindering each other during the real battle."

"I'm glad you agree. I suggest spending an hour or 2 every afternoons, the first half of the afternoon if possible, together. Is that alright with you?"

"Yes. I guess you already have a place in mind."

"Nope. I though you might have one."

Even though Yue Yang was interested in Yi Nan, he didn't want to reveal his secrets to her yet. Not his base, and not his ID. At least not yet for the ID. He knew he would probably be engaged to her due to their mothers and Ah Xian being related, but those women were also hidding a lot of things. He though it would be prudent to keep things from them as well, at least until they came clean with some things.

Thinking about keeping secrets brough back to mind something he had completly neglected, and he nearly punched himself in the face. He had told himself to aquire some mental protection due to one of the zodiac challenge targeting the mind, and a member of the Eastern Goblin Tribe targeting dreams.Yet, he still didn't possess any kind of mind arts. He vowed to look at the Shop once he got back home.

"Sorry, but I don't. I'm not from White Stone City, I'm only here until our mutual problem is dealt with."

"There aren't really many places where we would have proper privacy to train. I guess we should go out of the city, near the nearby forest. I can have 2 of my beasts survey the area without their presence being suspicious. What do you think?"

"I guess it's fine."

"There is a restaurant called Silver Plate in the south-eastern part of the city, with private booths. I'll rent one under your name. We can meet up there, have a nice lunch, then move from there to the nearby exit, and toward our training ground."

Yi Nan eyes narrowed at that, and Yue Yang couldn't help but finding it both cute and sexy.

"Is all of that a trick just to ask me out for lunch?"

"Not really. I don't deny that I think you're an attractive girl. I just though that if we are going to meet up, why not in a pleasant setting instead of roofs and trees? Don't you think that's rude of me to use such places to meet a maiden?"

Yi Nan flushed at the compliments and turned her face away from him. She wasn't comfortable with men showing interest in her. She showed a strong front, but when it came to relationships between men and women, she was quite shy. She had no experience and didn't talk about that subject with anyone, only having fictional stories as source of informations. Still, she couldn't help but be pleased with Yue Yang's words.

"I'll see you tomorrow!!"

She hurried away from him, not waiting for an answer, and leaving an amused and pleased young man behind.
