After taking the Wing Chun stance, I tried to kill every monster as fast as possible and tried to kill each one of them with just one strike.
After the first two, I dodged, blocked, and attacked all the remaining monsters and killed them with just one simple strike.
What I understand from this fight is both the idea in your mind, and the essence of the movements of your body should be synchronized to get a better result.
This means if I don't know why I am doing those movements and what those movements mean, then my attacks won't be as effective as this one.
However, since I knew the essence of Wing Chun and its stances, so using Wing Chun had a better effect on my attacks.
With both knowing those, you can apply the essence of your moves to your blades' movements as well.
In the case of Wing Chun, since the idea is to attack as fast and precise as possible to one point, my blades followed my blades singularly, and they acted separately.
This is probably the effect of Wing Chun on my blades.
With that concluded, I decided to attack while using my other martial arts this time.
This time I took the stance of Muay Thai.
Although there are still some discussions about the essence of Muay Thai, for me, it is the technique of maintaining balance and domination.
This is different from how Wing Chun operates.
In Wing Chun, you are trying to be as fast as possible without making any unnecessary movements, while in Muay Thai, you are trying to maintain your dominance over the other party while keeping your balance.
In a sense, it is like an avalanche. You are keeping your domination, and with consecutive attacks, your momentum keeps getting stronger and stronger.
This is the reason why Muay Thai is very similar to Kickboxing. In the end, for both of them, you are trying your best to maintain your control.
This is why Muay Thai and Kickboxing are aggressive types of martial arts, differing from Wing Chun in that aspect.
Anyway, enough with that explanation.
Let's get to the work.
The moment I said that the dungeon spawned another group of monsters from the walls and ceilings, etc.
This time, I didn't wait for them to attack me and directly dashed to them.
/THUD/ /PIERCE/
The moment I reached the closest one, I kicked it with a roundhouse kick and made it lose its balance.
However, the movements of my blades were different this time.
They were not acting separately but were acting together.
Following my kick, all of the blades flowed like an avalanche and pierced the body of the poor goblin.
/THUD/
After that, without losing my angular momentum, I followed that kick with a reverse roundhouse kick to the nearby kobold.
/PIERCE/ /PIERCE/
With the piercing sounds, the kobold was dead as well.
/BLOCK/
After that, I regained my footing and blocked the attack of a nearby goblin.
After blocking its attack, I threw an elbow to its face and swung my other arm in a crescent orbit to another attacker without giving them any time to attack.
Following my movements, my blades first followed the direction of my elbow and pierced the heart of the goblin, and after that, they swung with a crescent motion following my arm's movements.
Just like that, I kept my momentum and kept crushing all those monsters without making it complicated.
With that, I pretty much confirmed my theory on my magic.
Just like this one as well, if you know the reason you are doing those movements, you will get better results from them.
After killing all those monsters, I finally started to feel a bit of fatigue in my mind.
It seems like this is my limit for now, but this is good.
I can feel the more I use those blades, the less my magic is consumed. So it is still an excellent result for the first time using those blades.
With that, I gulped my first mind potion of 10k Valis and collected the magic stones left by those annoying monsters.
I am really itching to go to the fifth floor now.
With all this excitement, I started moving again and kept descending.
The third floor was pretty much the same, and I kept killing monsters while using suitable martial arts for the situation.
Sometimes, I used Wing Chun stances, sometimes, I used Muay Thai, and sometimes I used Kick Boxing.
Although in a sense, kickbox and Muay Thai are pretty similar, they are not at the same time.
After dealing with some other monsters, I reached the staircase of the fourth floor but didn't stop there and kept descending.
If my magic runs out, I will drink another potion, and aside from that, physically, I am not tired at all.
So there is no reason for me to stop right now.
With those thoughts in my mind, I kept descending and encountered my first enemies on the fourth floor.
Six in the ground and one in the ceiling.
/THUD/
Without wasting too much time, I directly attacked the monster group, but not before dodging the classical fall attack of the dungeon lizard.
After I dodged it with an axe kick, I smashed its head, following my blades piercing it.
After killing the dungeon lizard, I didn't want to lose my momentum and jumped from its body.
/SWOOSH/
When I was in the air, I directed my blades to the monsters below me, and with a spinning motion in the air, I slashed three of their heads, killing them instantly.
/THUD/ /THUD/ /THUD/
After that, I landed on the ground, and without stopping, I dashed to the remaining ones.
/SWOOSH/
I dodged the incoming nail attack of the kobold, and after that, with a wave motion of my arms, I directed my blades like a wave, killing the rest three of them in the process.
/PIERCE/ /PIERCE/ /PIERCE/
With that, all there of them were dead, and I kept descending after collecting their magic stones.
Just like that, the fourth floor was the same, aside from the increase in the numbers, but still, it didn't pose a threat.
After descending and killing all the monsters I encountered, I finally reached the staircase leading to the fifth floor.
I can finally finish this quest.
I guess I am excited, huh?
But this time, I am careful, and I am observing the behavior of the dungeon.
If it suddenly starts to spawn a lot of monsters, I will retreat immediately.
But If I judge that can be managed, then I won't stop.
And with that, I decided to rest for a bit on the staircase leading to the fifth floor to be in optimal condition.
I will also gulp another mind potion since I am pretty much exhausted from all of my mind reserves on the fourth floor.
While waiting, I decided to eat the bento Syr prepared since I was pretty hungry right now.
After eating or digesting the food (poison) Syr prepared for me, I decided to start moving.
And with that, I finally started diving to deeper floors…
