After a car accident that put her in a month-long coma, Devi woke up with the news that she was engaged to multi-billionaire, Elijah Grayson.
Elijah needed a wife to show the board directors of his company that he was serious about becoming the CEO of Hestia Group of Companies and Devi sought to use their fake love story as inspiration for her newest novel.
"I am to be your wife for six months." Devi skipped through the pages of the 250-page-long contract given to her by Elijah. She hummed before raising a brow, "Am I to read all of this?"
"I don't really care," Elijah simply responded. He looked at the two pages she gave him, "This is all you want?"
Devi tucked the papers in her bag, "By marrying you my father's company will live, but I don't care about that company anymore." She met his eyes with a blank stare, "My dream is to be the best-selling author in Country A; marrying you will be my perfect love story."

"Why are you dressed like that?" Elijah questioned his wife who was pacing the bedroom in only her underwear.
He closed the door behind him. "We're two strangers who got married, you shouldn't be so comfortable around me," he reprimanded her as he started for the white chest of drawers.
Devi furrowed her brows as she watched him rummage through her lingerie drawer. "What are you doing?"
"You're wearing a red bra and purple panties, a color coordination like that hurts my eyes," Elijah explained. He took a peach lace set that still had the tag on from the drawer and threw it at her, "Put this on."
Devi rolled her eyes but didn't argue with him as she unhooked her bra.
Elijah's brows shot up, "You're going to undress in front of me?"
"You said you don't find me attractive." Devi dropped the bra on the floor, "So it doesn't matter if I undress in front of you, right?"
