22 Minute Battle

After Claude sent Leo to the infirmary, he headed to the training room where his match was about to start. Since he was not present during the first two days, he could not watch his opponents during their battle with others.

"Claude, you're late?" The examiner said

"Sorry, I went to send my friend to the infirmary." He explained

"I see..." He then grabs his id card and scanned it on the device to confirm everything. Afterward, he explained to both of them the rules of the battle and the consequence of not following it.

Claude observes his opponent who was standing by the other end of the room who seems to be holding onto a wooden wand. He then observes his opponent Caster Weapon and analyzed its ability. Since Claude wasn't an ordinary student like everyone else, he was one of those people who have good magic analysis. It's an ability to find out what type of spell your opponent will do before the magic circle is completely cast.

A magic circle appears every time a caster cast magic, it holds the spell written information giving people to the knowledge of what type of spell and how strong it is.

However, not only can he analysis the magic circle and predict whats about to happen, he can also identify a person's weapon ability and how strong it is. As if he was a machine himself design to analysis and configured a caster's caster weapon.

As the light in the room turned red, and the siren sounded, Claude's opponent summoned hundreds of magic circle around him. Each circle comprises different elemental spells which can deal great damage if not avoided or prevented. However, within a blink of an eye, those who witness what happened could not believe themselves. In just a few seconds, Claude's opponent was leaning towards him as he fell unconscious and was leaning over towards Claude.

"What the heck happened?"

"Hey, did anyone see what that guy just did."

It impressed even the examiner with what Claude did, it was so fast that he even almost could not catch up to his speed. He could not believe that Claude disabled all the magic circle, at the same time attacked his opponent at great speed. Since Claude was skilled in martial arts, he only hit his opponent on the neck causing it to lose his consciousness.

Claude carried his opponent to the examiner, and he then left without a word leaving not only him but those observing speechless.

As Claude continues to battle for his school ranking, it didn't take a minute for them to end, leaving everyone speechless and dumbfounded to what just happened. Apart from the examiner who notices everything those who weren't skilled enough, of course, didn't see what happened.

"Do you guys know that kid?"

"I heard he just enrolled last week, but he was absent recently as well."

"Bloody hell, all his matches have ended in less than a minute and no one knows what happened."

Claude was facing his last battle before lunch, this time one of his opponents was from a different class. Unlike the student in his class, the girl standing in front of him seems quite strong.

As the match began, the girl started casting enhance magic on herself as she went and attacked Claude. Claude decided to take his time in battling her and face each other in martial arts. Everyone was quite impressed with both of there skill in martial arts, the only difference was Claude was battling her without any help of magic at all however no one knows this apart from the examiner and those with great analytic skills.

A few minutes have passed by and the female student already looked worn out, her sweat was dripping all over her face while Claude was standing looking fresh as if nothing has happened.

In the end, the girl put out her caster weapon which was a pair of vambrace, it was made of gold with different elemental stone at the same time it has symbolic runes written all over it. Every punch she makes appeared either flames, ice, or lightning spells.

Claude observes each stone on the vambrace represents the different elements if the stone shine that would be the element that appears in her punches.

When the girl notices that Claude was able to block her different attacks and moves, she smiled as she realized her defeat. She stood still facing him and smiled, "I admit my defeat."

Claude bowed down to the girl in front of him as a sign of respect, the woman left without a word and continued to smile. The reason why Claude bowed in front of her was that she was the daughter of one of the military captain he worked with. Her father was one of the people who trained Claude during his training before becoming a hunter.

As the girl continued to walk away a single drop of tear came down her face when she felt the person she was battling felt like her father however she could not explain the strange feeling.
