7 He Has Every Right To Be The Heir

Everyone in the room was all silent, and the atmosphere was tense between the mother and son. No one dare say a word since Alex has spoken, and the elder was right in front of them.

"Enough, The Elder finally spoke up, "Alex answer my question..."

Alex calmed down before answering the elder, "He does..."

Since Alex has spoken the room was in chaos, for them it means another challenger for the inheritance. Despite they all know Alex does not care about the inheritance and prefers to live the life he has now.

"Impossible, he just a child."

"Cousin, my son is older than him yet he manifested magic when he was 8 which was a miracle already."

Apart from Alex's mother who was one of the youngest people at the age of 7 to manifest magic, normally one's magic manifest at the age of 8 or 9. For Alex to also manifest at the same age as his mother is the reason why the elder favors him more.

Claude was feeling agitated at the commotion, he felt annoyed as everyone pressured and belittle his father, he felt furious that he forgot what he promised and cast a strong sound wave of magic causing all the windows glasses to shatter as he yelled, "No!"

Since everyone could cast magic, they could protect themselves from the glass pieces from injuring them, two men in black suddenly appeared beside the elder man whilst Alex embraced Claude preventing the pieces from hitting him.

Everyone was speechless when they witness what just happened, such a young age yet he could cast such strong magic.

Alex quickly checked on Claude condition, it relieved him when he saw he was fine, he sighed as he noticed the piercing on his ear rim was still intake. The piercing covered the edge of his ears, it was silver decorated with red gemstones. He did not expect that he'll be testing the seal Levin invested this early, but it amazed him that it actually worked.

"Father, I'm sorry..." Claude cried

Everyone was still in shock from what happened, the woman earlier was the only one happy of what happened. She did not expect the rumors to be true, she wondered why no news about Elite Magic High School and First High Academy weren't published in the news at all.

The awkwardness in the room was interrupted when the elder butler earlier step in, "Master, the food is ready..."

The elder man got up from his seat, "Come, Claude don't cry..."

It frustrates everyone when they saw the elderly was coaxing the young boy. He won't even dare do that to his own son nor grandchildren and has not even cared for his great-grandchildren as well.

"Alex take him outside first to calm down, tell him not to worry, what he did was not his fault," he said as he headed to the dining hall.

While Alex was busy walking Claude in the garden, the rest we in chaos as the elder left ahead.

" Josina, what do you think you plotting?" the woman said

"Kiara, enough don't let the elder hear you," he said

"Weber, talk to your brother so-called wife, just because she remarried into this family she thinks she has the right to everything."

"Why you..." Josina frowned

But before things could get worst, the elder Butler came back, "Master informed me to tell you all you are free to go home. Also, if you all continuing being like this better not come here anymore."

Of course, no one went against the elder butler, he has been with the elder since he was a young boy. Everyone quietly headed to the dining there they saw the Elder Master was smiling as he talked with Claude.

"Now you're all here, don't you all have something to say." He frowned

Everyone was confused to what they've done wrong.

"Father, what do you mean?" Leon said, who is Alex's father.

The old man did not say anything and continued to entertain the young boy. As they all ponder on what the elder meant, Alex spoke up, "Grandfather, please don't mind it. Let's not make a scene anymore in front of Claude."

They were all furious when they realized what the elder meant earlier, he actually wanted them to apologize to both of them. The young boy almost killed them yet the elder felt it was there fault the young boy went in outrage.

"Alex, I've heard his been staying in the research lab?" The elder asked

"Yes, Levin is taking Claude as his pupil," he answered

"I see..." he said as he started partaking on the food.

As they all saw the elder started eating, they all followed and soon devoured the food.

"He has every right to be the heir..." the elder suddenly said causing everyone to almost choke on their food. "Since Alex does not wish to be the heir his son has the right to be the next heir."

Everyone just choke on their food as they all became speechless, they did not expect an illegitimate son would have the right to be the heir yet they do not know who the child mother.

That evening as everyone presented there gift to Claude, they needed to pretend as if nothing happened earlier as they try to win the young boy over. However, Alex was not that simple to just let them use him, he was staring coldly at each one telling them not to lay a hand on him.
