25 Claude's Power

Leo was on the second floor observing Claude match, this would be the first time he gets to observe Claude match since last he was mainly fighting his opponent in mix-martial arts. He was partly worried since Claude opponent was a member of the sub-clan which means his quite strong. What worst is that his the grandson of a well-known Caster who has strong magic control and analysis.

It confused Claude opponent as he observes Claude; he senses no strong magic at him but he heard rumors that he could disable magic circles and defeat his opponent in less than a minute.

"Tell me why can't I sense any magic on you?" he directly asked Claude.

As always Claude ignored the question and didn't say a word, he just stood there waiting for the siren to sound to start the match. As the siren sounded, the whole room was filled in smoke.

"What the f*ck happened?"

Everyone on the second floor was in commotion as they could not see what was happening inside the battle room.

As the smoke continued to block the view of everyone, Claude and his opponent continued to battle each other.

"Tell me, how can you block such strong magic?" he yelled

Once again, Claude ignored his opponent again making him furious. He continued to block his opponent magic attacked as he wonders if whether or not he should remove the smoke.

Claude opponent became more furious when he realized none of his attacks were able to damage Claude at all, he then took out his caster weapon and force his attacked on Claude. It was a grand spear which expands at a great distance.

The sudden attack startled Claude and did not expect the spear could not only expand at such a great distance but also bend. It impresses him to see such marvelous caster weapon.

"Impressed?" his opponent smiled

"I am..." Claude finally replied

"Finally, I made you speak." he smiled, "Let see what you can do."

Claude, of course, did not hesitate and fought his opponent with all his might, of course, he didn't take it that seriously and control his strength.

As the smoke inside the room soon fades away, everyone could finally see what was happening. However, they were all too late. Claude opponent was looking all worn out and wounded already yet Claude was still standing at the same spot as if nothing happened.

"I don't get it..." his opponent said, he was speechless to see Claude looking calm and not a single scratch from his attack. His magic defense is too strong for any magic to penetrate him, even physical attack won't pass through his magic defense shield. Yet he sensed no magic on him at all.

"Tell me, how are you doing this?" he asked Claude politely. "How can you block both physical and magic attacked at the same time when I don't even sense any magic on you?"

Claude continued to listen to his opponent words while he was thinking of his research. He wonders if he could escape Leo and head to the lab since his next match will be in the afternoon. But Levin might not let him in since it's still school hours.

"Are you listening?" he asked

"Sorry, but time up..." Claude said and in a blink of an eye, his opponent collapse on the ground.

Those who were observing the match couldn't believe their eyes, they were clearly watching everything yet they didn't see what Claude did at all.

"Claude sure is power now," Levin said who was observing the match with Alex as well.

"He sure has..." he replied

Both Alex and Levin were impressed in Claude dimensional time control. He stops time for a moment as he was beating his opponent causing him to collapse without anyone seeing what he was doing.

Dimensional time control is a spell in which he could pause time for a few seconds. However, this type of spell can't easily be master by anyone since it does great damage on once body. Also, those who are able to cast this spell are also able to sense if someone nearby is casting it.
