1 Prologue
(Mc POV)
"Come on! I almost got it" I muttered to myself while playing with the joysticks
*game over* the metallic voice announced to me, notifying that I had just lost
"Dam it! I lost again! And I almost got a new record" I complained averting my gaze to the small crowd that had started to gather
'I was so immersed in the game that I didn't notice the crowd' I thought to myself embarrassed by how immersed in an arcade game I got. I then pick up my bag and walk out of the arcade still with a bit of blush on my face and after 5 minutes of walking I reach a old looking home. This house has been me and my grandfather's for the past 15 years of my life after my mom and dad died
I'm always made fun of for being short and other parts not developing as much as the other girls in my class but I usually kick there ass. Actually because I keep beating people up I got a nickname, it was "the small devil" which I hate because it makes fun of my size but it does help keep people away so it's not the worst.
"I'm home" I called out while opening the door "welcome home ya little rascal. I'm making curry for dinner " my grandfather responded. 'YES! I love curry!' I celebrated in my head while placing my bag down and taking off my shoes. I then notice a box in the corner of the room " hey gramps what's that" I asked "it's your birthday present. You can open it tomorrow" my grandfather responded
(The next day mc pov)
'Hmm I wonder what gramps got me' I thought to myself while walking down the stairs
"Happy birthday!" My gramps happily said
"I know it's your 16th birthday and for kids you're age it's really important so I got ya something that you have wanted for a long time to get so here" my gramps said while picking up the box from yesterday
"Open it" gramps commanded in a soft tone
And fallowing my gramps order I opened it and I was immediately shocked.
It was a dive and a game called fantic! Dives are new unique vr devices the one I got was the di3-2 which has the appearance of orange glasses a headband and 9 bands that temporarily paralyze you until you log out in the game so you don't go running around punching walls.
I quickly say thank you and run up to my room with the box and start unpacking and 3 minutes later I finish
Putting on the headband glasses and bands I say "link start" (yes I know very original)
"Welcome to fantic please select a name"
"Name!? I haven't thought of that! Hmmmm.... oh I got it! My new name is aura!" I tell the ai
"Processing... done please pick a weapon"
Then a row of different weapons pop up and I immediately know what to pick. Closing my eyes and smiling i pick the staff and press confirm but then what I hear next shocks me
"Thank you for picking *sledgehammer*!"
"WAIT WHAT!!!" I say snapping out of shock
"Please customize your character. Because of your name choice of *AURA* you can only choose the races *aura humanoid-unique * *physical aura -rare*"
"A- aura humanoid p-please " I say stuttering from sadness because of how big I just messed up
(Ima give ya guys a slight description on the aura humanoid. An aura humanoid looks like a normal human but instead of blood flesh and organs inside it's just pink mist. Btw the rank of the aura humanoid determines the colour of mist
White= common
Green=uncommon
Blue=rare
Purple=epic
Gold=legendary
Orange= hero
Red=mythical
Pink=unique)
"Choose where you would like to spawn"
A map pops up and on it there are 3 kingdoms 1. The monster kingdom (you would go here if you picked skeleton or anything like that) 2. Humanoid kingdom ( you would go here if you picked human/elf/dwarf) 3.beast man kingdom (you would go here if you picked something like dog beastman or lizardman)
"Monster kingdom please" I order the ai
(The reason she didn't pick humanoid kingdom is because aura humanoids are technically monsters)
