2 Night Out: Not Safe
Remedy POV
Now he decides he want to talk...
" Thank you Shyann for trying to help. Please let Ray know to give me a call." I said as I get up and head towards the door.....
I hear foots steps come running towards my direction but ignore it. "Hey!" I stop in my tracks and turn my body around to see Logan.
He spoke again since I didn't say hi or what back....I'm assuming that's what he wanted."If you need I ride I can give you one. Its too dark and late for you to be out on your own." He replied.
" I suppose its better to go with you." I said giving him a glare remembering what he did earlier.
" Yes." He said confidently but was going to be shut down real fast.
" You sure about that because I'm sure a while ago prove me other wise..." I paused and stared at his face which was priceless.
Regret but for what though, before he was able to respond I spoke again.
"And from what I experience its not always good to get in a ride from someone who grip or grab a hold on me where they shouldn't, or sexual tension between the person and I."
" I know it was wrong but you kind of tempting..." He said as he looked me up and down. Before I was able to say anything he spoke again.
" But that means you have sexual tension with me right....But dear I wouldn't think twice of taking advantage of someone. Especially not you, your to precious to even think in such a way unless you came on to me I will make sure you wont regret a thing." He said as he came up to the side of my face and kissed my cheeks ever so softly and scooted back not lingering too long.
I tried my best to hide the light blush that crept one my cheeks and the anger that boiled inside my veins. looked at him try to understand this guy but I didn't respond but turned toward the door once again.
I turned around to see him still standing there in the same spot zoned out looks like he was trying to figure out what to do. He was quite a charmer at times but when it comes to being turned down he real slow.
But honestly I prefer a ride at the moment it felt unsettling to take the buss at this hour. "Are you coming on not. I'm sure you offered me a ride." I said and turned back toward the exit to here him jogging behind me getting himself together from zoning out earlier.
After we hit outside Logan took the lead but I was shivering senseless. "I'll start the car, so that way the heater warm up the car so it should be warm as soon as we get in." When he said that a nice Ram truck all modified to the custom of how Logan wanted had started up on its own.
Just as I was close to the door Logan came in front to open the door. He held out his hand to try to help me inside which I didn't need help since I've been in big cars before.
" I got it Logan." I said as I grab the ceiling car handle and pull on it to lift my self inside. I looked back at Logan to see he had a smile on his face as he shut the door .
The door opens and shut again as Logan puts on his seat belt and put the car in reverse but stop and looked at me.
"Seat belt please." He said as he waited for me to move but I didn't.
I was being very stubborn " Can you please put it on or do I have to put it on for you." He said so seriously, at that moment I knew he wasn't lying about putting on my seat belt. Which I did as he said and put on the stupid seatbelt.
I understand the safety of seatbelts sometime I do it automatically when I'm driving but when I'm in the passenger seat I don't feel like it or I forget sometimes.
As he backed out and came to the exit of the parking lot he stopped. He put the car in park before he turned towards me. At that moment my heart picked up its pace when I realized the door was locked it almost made me panic more till he said. " What's your address."
I let out a sigh I was holding in expecting him to try and do something when he stopped.
"Umm... I will just give you direction from here and stop a few blocks from my house." I said making sure he didn't show up at my house when I'm alone or not there.
" You sure I can't just drive you to the house or across the street to make sure you get in safely," He said with concern.
" I will think about it for now make a right and keep straight for 1.0 miles." I said before looking out the window.
It was very quiet every now and then till a gave him another direction where to go to my house.
" Do you mind if I turn on the radio." I asked.
" No go ahead there Spotify and Pandora connected to my truck if you want to hear something in specific." He said as he looked at my direction before focusing on the road.
I went to Spotify and see if there anything I wanted to listen to but I couldn't think of a right song. I change to Pandora as it took forever to upload I kept clicking the Pandora and accidentally clicked on the recent played station then I heard him chuckle.
Empire new clothes radio which of course is played by "Panic! at the Disco" was the station I clicked on. "Thunder" by imagination dragons came on .
It made me laugh at how I was quick with a fuse and Logan was quite uptight I found this song relatable to our night.
"Thunder, feel the thunder. Lightning and the thunder. Thunder, feel the thunder. Lightning and the thunder. Thunder." Logan said in the deepest voice he could muster which was quite sexy and made me laugh.
" You do know the after the two or three verses it repeats itself, they add beats to the song but repeats the chorus like four times." I said snickering.
" I know but it's so catchy. It makes you want to sing and repeat the whole thing all over again." He said in defense.
"You can pull up on this street." I said laugh as we came close to the gated community houses. He came to a complete stop. On the side of the gated community was woods but within those woods was my house .
"Alright by Logan thanks for the ride. See you around." I said opening the door hopping out as I ran a cross the street.
I heard a honk and look back to see Logan do a U-turn as I reach the other side of the street.
"You sure your okay I don't mind sitting in the car right here as you head where you need to go." He ask giving me his offer once again.
" Your very stubborn Logan but you can wait out here if I scream then you can come but if you don't hear anything in three minutes you can leave." I said making a compromise hoping he agree with what I was willing to give.
" Fine with me as long as you okay I will feel better when I leave." He said rubbing his neck once again.
I nodded my head as I turned on my heel headed to the gate and walk to the corner through a gate that would get me faster to where my house was located. It was a short cut because after you leave the gate just walk straight for two to three minutes to my the shadow of my house would appear.
As I entered my house I heard the engine leave the side of the street becoming faint. I leaned against the door exhausted as I take of my heels and tossed them in the corner. Lifting up my dress as I head straight to my room tossing the dress in the corner missing the basket and plopped down on the bed.
Wrapping myself in my cozy blankets, sitting on my bed staring at the only window in my room when I heard a howl that was so faint I couldn't believe I heard it. I look at the clock to see it just hit one which made me groan...
The faint sound was so relaxing and the rough night I had made it easy to fall asleep.

Later in the afternoon
*Beep* * Beep* *Beep*
Uhhh....come on..where is that damn alarm clock. I though as I reached over my bed with my eyes closed.
*Silence*
My head was throbbing so I stayed waiting for it to subside so I can move again.
Finally as I rolled over toward the window which wasn't a good idea when I felt the sun beam at my closed eyelid made me groan more. I tried to open my eyes which made me squeeze my eyes shut more than it already was.
Once I was able to adjust to the sun I got up and headed towards the shower and turned up to really hot. I went back to my room to get my clothes out and towel to head towards the shower when I heard my phone ping.
Hmmm who is texting this early in the morning.....
I looked at my locked screen as I saw text from

I unlocked it and read...
'hey its Ray
received at 12:02
Me:
Oh hi you got me when I was about to head to the shower
delivered at 12:02 read.
Ray:
Sorry I heard from Shyann you needed a ride
I wanted to make sure you were alright
received at 12:03
yeah I got a ride from the dude earlier before you left
delivered at 12:03 unread.
Oh and his name was Logan
he was very persistent that I don't take the bus or walk by my self last night.
delivered at 12:05 unread.
I left after that heading towards the shower before it gets cold. As soon as I hopped in I was at ease bring my face under the shower head getting all the sweat that was stuck in my pores.

20 minutes later
After the long shower I got dressed and put my hair in a messy bun to air dry which will get real curly which im fine with. I went to go get dress and a medium size sweater that falls on one side of my shoulder and some ripped jean and a white little purse to match with my white shoes.
As I was about to make me breakfast I heard my phone ring... but by the time I got to it I was too late. I went to my contacts and saw that its from my boss...
I hurried and called him back and he answer after the second ring.
" Remedy." My boss said as if saying why you didn't answer my call the first time.
"Yes boss." I said unsure what this call was for.
" You know I hated when you guys call me boss, call me by my real name -"
" I'm sorry Luca its just been a long night." I said disregarding being professional any longer.
" The reason why I called because there is a meeting tomorrow and I need you to come get these paper to look over but it seem like you need someone to talk to. How about we go out for lunch and we can talk about what's bothering you and go over the papers as well." He said obviously well know when something bothering.
" Yeah that's fine. The usual place right." determined to try to meet Luca and vent how my day is going.
"Yeah. How does one sound." He asked clarifying our meet up.. 12:45 the sooner the better.
"Sounds good see you in 15 minutes." I said and Luca replied mmhm before hanging up.
I decided to go sit in the living room instead of making me breakfast since I will go out to eat anyway.
I just had a moment of realization that I left my car at work which is a hour drive and if I were to walk now it be around a hour and fifty minutes. I went upstairs as I start to panic and get my purse.
Just as I was about to panic and get my phone to reschedule I hear a knock on the door. I shuffle around the couch to open the door.
When I opened the door I saw Jolly and Ray.
"Hey Jolly what's up and what are you doing here." I asked but I notice Molly hadn't arrive with them.
"What's going on and where Molly, how come she isn't here with your." I asked now realizing Molly hasn't showed.
"Molly didn't make it home last." She said and before she continued a police car pulled up to where my house was parking in the dirt a few feet down.
"We left the club when we saw you with that guy. We got to the car and buckled up when I was gonna shift gears someone went to put a cloth around our face but I was able to escape but when I turned back around the guy had got molly and I didn't want to get caught so I ran till I bumped into Ray." By the time Jolly finished the police came up to the door.
" I'm Officer Tray, I'm here to gather information about the night Molly went missing. I would like for you to tell me about the night." I explained everything from duane to Logan who I met, within 5 mins I explained everything.
" Do you think that Duane might have to do with something or Logan for that matter." Officer Tray asked.
"Duane most likely with the past he has but I'm not sure about logan I barely know him." I answered the question hoping it is that last one as he jotted it down.
" Thats all for now I would like it if you and Jolly come in some time soon so it can go into the system officially. We also would need a photo of what she look like so we know who we looking for. Last thing keep the windows and doors lock and go to a convent store and pick up pepper spray." Tray explained while handing me a card with his extension. Tray turned away and headed towards his police car and honked before driving off.
"I'll stay with you guys for now.....I think its best if you two stay with someone." Ray offered which I be willing to take but I had to deal with Luca if I didn't go and see him within the hour.
"I actually gotta meet my boss in seven mins and I don't have my car. Ray could you drive me there please." I asked.
" Yeah of course but let me know when you need to get picked up... I'll be with Jolly." I nodded and headed inside the house grabbing my keys and my wallet before locking up my house.
We left my house,now knowing that we're not safe alone and Molly missing somewhere out there.
