2 First Fight

It wasn't too easy to pass through those thick bushes and rocky paths but even with the struggles, I was able to discover that I am stronger here in this world than in the real world. It was when I decided to climb to a tree that I discovered I can leap higher. I can jump from one tree to another with amazing speed and even my sense of balance is astounding. As I am almost to the highest spot of the forest, I tripped over an old branch and fell incredibly not on the ground but on something softer. I'm not yet accustomed with this body I have and because of it my sense of balance is not firm. From where I fell, I never knew I just awakened something I saw for the first time, a plant-like monster and it seems to be a carnivorous type. I was startled so much that I froze for a second but I was able to get a grip of my situation and tried to run. But I was too late. My left foot was already entangled with its vines and there was nothing I can do because the monster launched me up in the air towards its mouth. I tried to struggle to rip the vines on my foot but the vines are too thick and my struggle is helpless because the vines just regenerate. I had no choice of escape which makes fighting it necessary even if I don't even know how to fight it. I thought of opening my skills menu but I would already be a breakfast if I would do that so with the last thought in my mind, I just clenched my fists for an attack. "Splash" like the sound of a water balloon bursting was the sound of the monster breaking after my punch landed a critical hit as it is displayed on my field of vision. Items fell on the ground including gold coins, a talisman which was identified to be a rare Item which gives +30% critical damage for weapons of level 60 and an ice staff, a beginner's weapon. After I was able to pick up all the loot, I headed straight to my destination to be safe.

The peak of the forest has this giant tree and if I remember from the real world, it can be compared to the giant sequoia which is the tallest tree that thrives on tundra places. Climbing the tree was not like a walk on the park and it even took 4 minutes for me to reach the peak. It was a great sight to behold with the morning sun rising from my west. From my position, I was able to scan the area and noticed something. What I saw was like a fortress; high walls surrounding a small village and a big castle on the center. There were no other noticeable places on sight so I thought of heading to that place to gather more information about the place I am in. But even with the thought of going to the fortress, I don't have that much knowledge of my status and character info. As I check out my character page, I was surprised because I just turned level 10 just from the single kill I made earlier. I was even more surprised when I checked my status points where my STR, DEX, AGI, INT, WIS, LUCK are 180, 125, 120, 22, 13, 35 respectively. I thought "this is a crazy stats for a level ten character." I was so skeptic because the stats I have are seemingly not the stats of a level 10 but why should I care. Maybe it is this world's rules and I don't even know them in the first place. I learned that I have a weapon in my weapon slot however it is clearly unusable because of the level quota where I need to be at least level 60 to use it. I tried to change my weapon with the ice staff I got from the monster drop earlier and it was usable. It was probably because of my half spell breaker character that I can use a staff weapon. There were armor sets which were unusable like the chest armor, pants, belt, boots, gloves, and head all are in level 60 quota. Only the arm guard is different from all the other weapons. It is a level 40 equipment so that means I can use it earlier than the other weapons. It was a little disappointing that I can't wear them because they look cool when equipped but of course, there is nothing I can do when it is the rule in this cyber world. I checked my skills too and looked if there are skills that are usable. Again, there were 90 skill points given and made me think maybe it is a gift from the cyber world similar to the GMs in those online games who give gifts to good players. I activated my skills and distributed my skill points but there were no attack skills available because they were all prerequisite by a spear weapon. Only one buff skill was available with my level and it really sounds that helpful. It was the "Party Bless", a HP regen buff and it was also levelled up to its maximum of level 10 with 30% of maximum health regeneration every second because of the availability of my skill points. There were no items stored in my inventory except for the items I was able to get from the monster drop and I have 120,000,015 gold where 15 gold was acquired from the monster drop.

These items, these weapons, I remember playing something similar in the real world. If I remember, it was asked when I filled up the form from the hidden link I found. It was an online game and as far as I remember the last time I played that game was 3 years ago. Its system was unique because once a player reached a maximum level, the players can reset their level at level 1 but in exchange, their characters receive half the status points they have got depending on the level attained. In my case, I was able to use the "Reborn System" once however I wasn't even at the maximum level cut-off. If I am to consider my stats, I must be level 40 to 45 with one Reborn of level 80. I'm sure this was the character I used. The name, the equipment and most of the skills in the skill tree are the same. There were just other things that were modified like some of my skills and that I have a sub-class of mage. Maybe it was modified to match-up with this world.
