1 1938- flashback

The broadcast of the local news was on in the back ground as Avigail wrote in her diary she had that her brother Ben gave to her on her birthday, the broadcast was mentioning political topics she sat quietly and listened as the male broadcaster talk about how Germany's military just swarmed through and invaded Poland. as the broadcaster went on Avigail's father vented on how he thinks Hitler will kill us all.

"father, do you think there will be a second war? my teacher Mrs. Franklin told me she fears with the updated weapons that it'll be worse." Avigail stated with a tone of fear. her father sat quiet with thought.

"Avigail, let's not think of that we must hope for the best."

1941

Avigail heard sirens go of as she was buying apples from the market, she took of running ropping her basket of fruits. she saw panic everywhere as the sirens stopped it was once again practice but as she got to her home, she noticed the german soldier checking her parents hair and eyes. she tried to turn around but ran head first into a german soldier. his hair was a shiny gold and his eyes blue like the ocean but his lips turned into a serious look. (at this time period teen boys who were full blood German were forced to join the Germany military FYI so hes about avigail's age and quick disclaimer everything will be in english so)

" Turkish, 5'2, brown hair, brown eyes, judging by the star on her sweater, she's Jewish." the boy stated to the other soldier.

an hour later Avigail stood in a crowed train not knowing she was heading to the pits of hell. babies cried, moms screamed as they were seperated from their children.

"Tobias, my name is Tobias." Avigail turned around quick and noticed the tall blonde hair, blue eyed boy she seen from before. she gave him a quick glare and rolled her eyes. " just a tip, being troubled will get you killed, but if Mr. James sees you it might be a much greater punishment." her body stiffened. "who is Mr. James." she said hesitantly. Tobias slightly smirked "trust me avigail".

two days pass and Avigail notices the train stops, doors start to open and the light burns avigail's eyes as she hadn't seen light since she got onto the train. there she notices a barbed wired fence and everyone is forced to get in a line. she notices that the lines began to seperate. as she is moved behind the barged wired fence she sees her family go the other direction.

"Tobias, where are they going ??" she cried "please tell me " Tobias face glared at the building watching steam pour from the tip. he held her close as she watched her family go into the building, he put his his hand over her mouth and whispered. "you got lucky, they are going into the pits of hell. they are being burnt."

Avigail's body began to shake as she tried to scream but Tobias slapped her across the face "of you scream again I will throw you in there got it"
