Annihilation: Part One

Currently, Lo Recant was explaining what my two divine skills: Ouroboros and Ragnarok, meant. And what concepts they represented.

"So, why are concepts so important to Divine Skills?" I asked him a question that had been bugging me for the past hour.

"Well," he replied. "Divine Skills aren't your normal skill, a fact which you should be painfully aware of, right?"

I nodded towards his assessment. After all, if I didn't have Divine Essence, I would've probably been a lot weaker than I was. Heck, I was even sure that if I hadn't killed that Divine Rodent, I would have probably not even gotten a Raid-Boss level evolution that fast. But the biggest offender had to be my two new, and very powerful, divine skills: Ouroboros and Ragnarok.

"What am I kidding," he sighed. "They are not even what you would consider skills. Divine Skills, except Divine Essence, are, basically, a fancy way of naming the Concepts which the user rules over."

"Well, to answer your questions as to why concepts are important, Divine Skills, except Divine Essence, in their most basic form, are concepts!" he answered.

I didn't mind him giving me so much exposition, as, I would not have likely understood if he had just said that Divine Skills are concepts. After all, that would've just lead to me asking more questions and being supremely confused about the whole ordeal.

"Also, remember that Divine Skills go much deeper than that, though you should naturally become aware of that," he finished. "So, I don't think I need to explain it any further, do I?"

"Sure," I nodded. "Now, please continue from where you had left off."

He nodded to my words as he, once again, started explaining.

It had been almost two hours, but the lecture about some of the missing parts in human history had been finished.

"So, that's it," he replied. "There is a lot more to your skill, especially with Ouroboros, but I trust that you will find them out yourself."

I nodded.

"Thank you," I thanked him.

I was now indebted to him and there was nothing that would make me say otherwise.

Due to his explanations, which though long were made for me as in-depth and understandable as possible, I now understood what Divine Skills were, what my two divine skills meant and represented, what I could do to make them stronger, and so much more.

I had even learned some of my basic abilities such as Revival, Breath Of Ouroboros, Transmutation, and finally, Transformation. Sadly, they were all Ouroboros' abilities, not Ragnarok's, though Breath of Ouroboros was boosted a ton by its World Destroying functions.

The reason I could only use Ouroboros' ability was because I was an Ouroboros and naturally had more understanding of the skill due to me being more connected to it. After all, wisdom couldn't help me with those skills; I needed to cultivate them myself, just like a farmer would.

Basically, what I meant was that I just got my ass hard-carried by my Divine Evolution.

"There are things which I would like to tell you before you go," he said. "But you should probably start asking me some questions now."

I started to think, after all, I wanted to see if there were any questions that I could ask.

'Seems that is it,' I thought, as I didn't have any questions whatsoever in my mind which couldn't be explained with Lo Recant's power or me being too immature in this world.

"There aren't," I calmly replied. "Though, I do have something which I want to do before you turn the back time."

I wanted to try out the full extent of the broken and terrifying attack which was better known, to me, as World Annihilation Breath -- for obvious reasons. After all, the last time I had used it, I had only charged it up for like what…four seconds? I knew very well that I could have gone even further beyond. Plus, experimenting with that attack and destroying everything in sight would help me relieve some nostalgic memories.

"Sure," he replied. "Oh, by the way, before you do what you want, listen to these with your utmost attention."

Hearing his words were surprising, as I didn't what else could have been as important as the explanation he had given to me just some moments ago.

"Ok," I replied with a voice that was the personification of attention itself.

"The best way to increase your power, currently, is to use your talents/traits options," he said. "That's probably the most important amount of information I could give you, except Divine Skills. They're going to be a little hard to understand at first, but you can manage. Also, you should really try to get a magic spell as fast as possible. And that, CHECK YOUR DAMN STATUS!!!"

I was following him with everything he had said, very carefully, until 'that'. It had caught me off guard, making me become even more terrified and stunned due to it, not like I would not have been like that even if I knew that it was coming. After all, Lo Recant was not the type of person I wanted to piss off.

"Ok, ok, ok," I frantically replied, clearly showing off just how terrified I was. "But still, you didn't have to do 'that.'"

"That's entirely my fault; I apologize for that," he apologized. "But there is still a limit to the sheer amount of stupidity you can display. Like why aren't you using one of the most useful abilities you have? Just looking at your status can give you basic ideas of your abilities. Hell, I could've figured out most of what your divine skills did by just looking at your status page."

I could do nothing but nod.

"Sorry," I apologized. "I'll look at it now!"

He nodded whilst I opened up my status page:
