'Today I am becoming a full Herald instead of a trainee. I think after I stay here a while I'm gonna go to somewhere new again.' I wrote this down in my journal I'm leaving here in this place so when I do disappear people know what happened and don't panic.

:Hey Rosemarie?:

:Yes little one?: The familiar voice in the back of my mind said.

:I'm going to leave this world soon. Are you fine with that?:

:Just come see me before you leave, okay?

"Okay Rosemarie."

"What?" Vanyel asked me.

"Whoops. I said that out loud?"

"Yes you did. Now go back to practicing."

"Yes teach." I had zoned out instead of working in my last mage class and now Vanyel's glaring at me.

"Work on the Gate. You need to learn this now."

"But I thought you were sensitive to the Gates. Won't it hurt you when I open it?"

"Well... Yes. But it's fine."

So I went back to summoning the Gate and sending it to my room's door. After about an hour or so I managed to create it but saw Vanyel's face twisted in pain. "You're definitely not fine Vanyel. Here." I said and swished my hand for effect and the Gate disappeared. "Now let's go to Savil. We need to get you to someone who can help." Vanyel leaned on me while we walked to Savil's room.

:Savil? You in there?:

:Lizzy? Yes I'm here. Why?: Suddenly I felt the magic drain from my gate and slipped but caught myself before I fell.

:Vanyel... Gate... Heavy... Help...:

"What? Come in Lizzy!" Savil said as she opened the door seeing me leaning on the wall with Vanyel leaning on me. "We need to get him laying down. What happened?"

"He... told me to make... a Gate and... I did but he... looked hurt. So I... closed the Gate and... brought him here."

"You look just as bad as he does. Go. Take the other couch and sleep. You look like you need it."

"Thanks Savil." I say then stagger to the couch and pass out immediately.
