16 First Mission

*RING**RING**RING*

My alarm rang. I turned it off and wake up from the bed. Last night, after introducing me to unit 7 at HQ, Miss Ann sent me home. My mother was very worried. When I opened the door, she rushed to me. She hug me with tears in her eyes. After that she start to scolding me. Miss Ann bid farewell and left after seeing that. I can only be silent and nod when mother scolded me. After all, I feel guilty for make her worried about me.

I went downstairs for breakfast. My mother already prepared the breakfast. I don't see Natalie. Usually she is the first one here. I sat down and ate my breakfast. After finishing my breakfast, I still don't see her.

"Mom, Where is Natalie ?" I asked My mother.

"She have club's activities in the morning, so she went to school a bit earlier." replied my mother.

"She's so diligent."

"You are the one who should be like that. You are the big brother right ?" said my mother with smile.

I just smiled. It's true that I'm a bit lazy, different from my sister.

"Well, I'm off." I said as I left the house.

"Careful." her replied came from inside.

I walked toward bus stop and took the bus.

I got off the bus and walked to school.

"Hey, Ryan." Jack's voice came from behind. He caught up with me and walked beside me to school.

"Where is Natalie ?" asked him.

"There's a club's activities, so she goes first to school."

"Okay. By the way, do you heard the rumor ?"

"What rumor ?" I asked .

"Miss Ann will be our permanent teacher." Said him with excited face. I surprised. This is the first time I heard it.

"You really don't know huh ?" said him as he noticed my face.

"Yeah. This is the first time I heard it."

"Well, It's okaye. She will teach math. Now the math lessons will be fun." said him, drooling.

"I'll tell Natalie about your behaviour."

"Whaa... Noo. Please no. You can ask me to do anything as long you don't tell her." said him terrified. I grinned. It seems he was afraid that if Natalie know than he will be dumped.

"Please don't tell her. If she know and get angry toward me, then It will be living hell to me."

"Hahaha. You are really afraid huh ?" I taunted him.

"You don't know how she is when she get mad. She is like a demoness." he said with seriousness.

I just laugh it off. But I noticed that his face doesn't change.

"Are you serious ?" I asked with solemn face.

"Yes. Once, I made her mad at me. She almost broke my hand and sent me to hospital."

"..." I am speechless. I don't know my sister have that side of her.

"Well, forget it. Just don't tell her okay ? I'll treat you a lunch."

"Okay."

We walked to class and take a sit at our chair. Not long after that the bell rang.

Miss Ann came to our class.

"Hello everyone. I know that you already know me. But I'll introduce my self again. I am Ann Kazuya. Your new math teacher. Please take care of me." she said it to the whole class.

"Well, please open your book. We'll start our lesson."

*RING**RING**RING*

It's a break time. All of our periods in the morning was math. Originally it was a boring lesson. But since Miss Ann came, it turns into fun.

"Ryan, please meet me after school." she said it to me while looking at me. I realized it was something to do with agent. I nod my head. She left the class after seeing my response.

"Hey hey Ryan. What do you do ? It's only her first day and you got called." Jack started to tease me. Of course I know what she want, but if I tell him then I already failed as an agent.

"I don't know. Maybe when I fall asleep in the middle of the lesson." I said. Well that's the truth. Even the math became fun, I still can't hold myself to not fall asleep in middle of lesson.

"Hahaha. Forget about it. Let's go to cafeteria. It's my treat." he said.

"Hey, don't you say it was for lunch ?" I asked because he said something different from what he promised.

"I changed my mind. I'll treat you right now. It's more friendly to my pocket." he said it grinning.

I just smiled and accept it. We walked to cafeteria together.

After school, I met Miss Ann at teacher's room. She has been waiting for me. I walked toward her.

"I'm here as you requested, Miss." I said.

"Let's go. This is not the place." she said. She gestured me to follow her. We got into her car. She started her car and drive out of school. After 15 minutes, we stopped at a KTV. She parked her car at parking lot in front of KTV.

"Let's go. Follow me in." she said as she got out of her car. I followed behind her. I look around and thought about it a moment. I can guess this is our another base.

"You are right. This is our another base." said her as she can read my mind. We walked to desk at front and Miss Ann showed her ID card. The man at desk nodded at her. We walked to one of staff room. She uncovered something beside the door. It was a panel. She put her card on the panel. The door suddenly opened. It was a lift. I follow her into the lift. The lift goes down. Apparently, our base too is an underground base.

*DING*

The door opened. What greets me was a huge monitor with some people working in their respective desk.

"Welcome to our base, Ryan." She said with smile.
