Without wasting time, Eddy charged at me. His fist is in front of my face.

[Lean to the left and parry it to the side.] His fist passed me. His body doesn't stop.

[Left straight to his face.] I do a left straight. He use his left foot to stop his body. He turned his body to evade my fist and give me an elbow punch as counter.

[Step backward.] I stepped backward. His elbow grazed my chest. It's hurt a little. I continued to observe his movement. I want to study it later because I know that I can't relied on Shadow everytime I need to fight. He stop his movement, and with his left foot, He spun his body backward and do a spinning back kick. It was fast. When I see it, it was halfway to my head.

[Raise your right hand to block it.] When I blocked it, I was slightly pushed backward. My hand hurts. Astonishment could be seen in his eyes.

[Grab his leg and pull him.] I slightly confused, but I still do as Shadow told. I pulled him to me. He raise his hand to do a straight to me, borrowing the force from me.

[Catch it and grab his neck with your right hand.] It was a difficult move. Slight mistake and I will get punched at my face. He will grab that opportunity and defeat me. Fortunately I can do it. I grabbed his neck.

[Slam him to the ground.] I slam him to the ground.

[Give a more power in your grab.] I add more power in my hand. He start to struggle.

[Hold it. Don't release your hand.] I hold it as told. It hurt when he punch my hand. It was a few second, but he already punched my hand many times. I'm already at my limit.

[Hold it.] Shadow told me again. It's seems he know I already reach my limit. When I want to let go my hand, Eddy tap the ground three times.

"Stop." said Mr. Thomas.

I release my hand and breath a sigh of relief. I look at Eddy beside me, who was coughing to catch a breath. He look at me. Our gaze meet. I give a smile to him. He give me a bitter smile to me.

"Your skill is better than mine. It's a pity that you lack of body training so your body can't fully show your skill to the fullest. If you can use your skill to the fullest, I doubt I can win a fight against you even when I use 100% of my power." He said to me.

"Yes, He's right. You need to train your body. If not, your skill will be wasted." added Mr. Thomas.

"So, how is it ? Is he passed the test ?" asked Miss Ann.

"Yes, of course. He passed the test" replied Mr. Thomas with smile.

"Thank you, Sir. I'll try my best here." I said with excited face. I look at Miss Ann. She smiled toward me.

"Let's back to my office."

"You will be placed at Unit 7, under Ann's squad. This is your form of application. Return it to me once you finished it. Ann take care of him. I have a high expectation to him." said Mr. Thomas.

"Yes, Sir."

"Now you can go to your base."

"Excuse me, Sir. Ryan follow me." said Miss Ann.

"Excuse me, Sir." I quickly said and followed Miss Ann.

-At Mr. Thomas Office-

"What do you think about him, Ed ?" asked Mr. Thomas.

"He is a monster. His techniques was the one used for killing. I can't win if he can use the techniques to the fullest. Just like before, because a moment of my carelessness, I almost died." said Eddy bitterly.

"Blame yourself. But it's really a monster. If we can nurture him, he will be the greatest agent." said Mr. Thomas.

"Yes."

"I know you are not in the same unit, but take care of him. Don't let him mistreated."

"Yes, Sir."

"Now you can go."

"Excuse me, Sir."

-Unit 7 base-

"Here is our base. This is HQ base. Outside of this, we have another base. I'll take you to that base a few days later. The base here is for monitoring and receiving order from HQ." said Miss Ann to me. I'm amazed when looking at this. Before, I can only see base like this in movies. But now, I see it myself. Miss Ann smiled at me and continued her introduction.

"Beside you and me, there are another 7 agent for our squad. 4 was placed here and another 3 was placed at another base. We take turns filling the base." said Miss Ann.

"Hey captain. Who is that boy ?" a girls's voice came from behind me. I turned back to see the the voice's owner. It was a girl. She has blond hair and a bit shorter than me. It seems she was a highschool student. Feeling my gaze, she look at me.

"I'm Claire. Claire McKenzie. I'm 21 years old. Don't think of me a highschool student, you boy." said her with a strange smile on her face.

"I'm Ryan. Ryan Smith. Nice to meet you." I replied with embarrassed smile because what she said. She can see through what I was thinking.

"He is Ryan. Our new member. He only joined today." said Miss Ann.

"Oh, what a surprise." said her.

"Where are the other, Claire ?" asked Miss Ann.

"They are upstairs, having a break."

"Okay."

"Then Ryan, welcome to Unit 7." said Miss Ann.

"Yes," I replied excitedly.
