23 Accident

I can't focus during lessons. I kept thinking about what purpose Anderson came here. Is it for investigating his target, but who is the target ? Or does he really come here without any purpose ?

The bell rang, so I stop my thought. I decided to tell this matter to Miss Ann. With that, I went to teacher's room to find Miss Ann. When I want to open the teacher's room, the door was opened by Miss Ann.

"Oh Miss Ann, what a coincidence. I need to talk to you." I said.

"What is it ?"

I glanced into the room, indicating this is not the right place. She glanced into the room as well.

"Okay, Follow me to the rooftop." with that, she went upstairs. I followed behind her. She opened the door and locked it.

"What do want to tell me ?" she asked.

"The transfer student in my class, James Anderson, is a hitman." I said.

"Are you sure ?" she asked with serious face. I understand that. A hitman is hard to trace, so it's normal that she react like that.

"Yes. My instinct says so. Moreover, I can smell blood from him. It's faint but I'm sure of it." I said.

She fell silent for a moment. I don't dare to disturb her as I know this is a serious matter. A few moment later she took out her phone and started issuing order to other member. It took her a while and then she turn her attention to me.

"Ryan, you are his classmate. So I want you to approach him and make a friend with him." She said.

"Yes, Ma'am." I replied.

"Good. Give me a report as soon as you got something. Understand ?"

"Yes."

"Good. I'll return to base now. You go and approach him." she said. After that, she left. I stood there thinking how to approach him.

I left school and decided to walk around in shopping district. When I wanted to go home, I found Anderson in the alley, He walk cautiously through the alley. I felt that was weird so I followed him. He entered into a 4-floor building. Fortunately there is no door so I can still follow him. He went to the 3rd floor and went into one of the rooms. I leaned to the door to eavesdrop their conversation.

"I came as you wanted." Anderson said.

"Good. You do have courage. I admired it." A man replied with deep tone.

"Cut your crap. I came as you wanted so release her." He said impatiently. It seems the man kidnap someone important to him to force him to come.

"Hahahaha. Don't be so impatient. Don't you know that a hitman should be calm and patient in all conditions ?"

"YOUUUU"

"Hahaha. Don't forget that your sister is in my hand."

"..."

"Hey... Bring that girl over."

"Brother.."A girl's voice called him.

"Selena. Don't worry. I came to save you." He comforted the girl.

"Hahaha. So touching."

"Youu. Release her."

"Of course I'll release her. But before that I'll torture you in front of her. Hahahaha."

"Yoouuu.."

*PLAKK**PLAKK*

"Brotherrr... No... Stop it...."

Before he can finish his sentence, a dull voice sounded followed by the girl sad voice. I can't wait anymore. I kicked the door and rushed to Anderson. I kicked the man who beat Anderson. He look at me with surprised face.

"Why are you here ?" He said.

"There is no need for walking now. We need to save your sister." I said. I rushed to the girl and beat the one who held her. He still surprised with this sudden turn so I easily beat him. I picked her up and took her back to Anderson.

"You are a brother so protect her." I said to Anderson.

"Thank you." he nodded.

"Who are you ?" The man said. I took a glance at him and look away. He was infuriated and want to pull something from his back. I a step faster from him as I throw a bat from the ground to him. It hit his hand and a pistol fell.

"Who is he ? Is he a hitman like you ?" I asked Anderson.

"Yes. Be careful. He is good with pistol and similar weapon."

I nodded and rushed toward him.

[Kick his head with side kick]

As usual, Shadow guide me when I fight. I successfully kicked his head since he is unprepared. He fell to the side. I take this chance to kick the pistol to Anderson.

"Use it to protect yourself and your sister." I yelled toward him.

"Who do you think you are ? You dare to kick me.." The man get up and rushed to me. He held a knife and tried to stab me.

[Dodge to the left.] The knife pass through me.

[Grab his hand and throw him] Borrowing the power from his charge, I throw him easily. I instinctively took the knife from him and stabbed his arm.

"Arghhh" he screamed. I retreated back to Anderson.

"Are you okay ?" He asked.

"It's alright." I nodded.

"You... You will pay this." The man said. Soon, people came and surrounded us. I took a step forward, to protect Anderson and his sister.

"You will regret to messing up with my plan. Hahaha." He laugh and left the room. The people around us grinned. I glance at them and made a resolve in my heart.

"Breakthrough this encirclement and run to the outside." I said.

"Yes." Anderson nodded.

"And try to not kill anyone." I reminded him.

"Okay, I'll try. But I can't promise that I will not cripple them."

"That's alright. I can't promise that too." I grinned and charged at them followed by Anderson behind me.
