Living With A System That Tries To Kill Me!(Dropped)

"wait, wait, we can talk this out!"

So right now, you wouldn't call my situation ideal. I'm right now in a dark alley with my back against the wall, surrounded by 3 gangsters who wants to kick my ass. So you are maybe asking how I got into this situation. Well, let's go back to the start of the day.

The year was 2252, June 14. My name is Alex Foge and I'm 21 years old. You're probably thinking I'm in college or probably a successful person. Well you're completely wrong. I work about 15 hours a day at as a shitty janitor at a shitty school.

I get paid with a meager wage that is barely paying my rent at crappy apartment. The only thing I eat everyday are cup noodles. FREAKING CUP NOODLES! I've been eating this shit for more than a month non-stop.

So it's 1:00 PM and I'm mopping the cafeteria cleaning up the trash made by the middle school kids. There was trash everywhere, it was even on the ceiling! How the hell do you get that on the ceiling!?

What is that in the first place? It looked like the kids mixed their own shit with jello and tossed it up to the ceiling. How did they get away with that in the first place?! It can be seen that the teachers of this school don't care about what the students do.

It's probably because it's not their job to clean this shit in the first place. Ugh, screw this job and screw the kids who learn here.

As I'm cleaning the cafeteria I saw a teacher comes in, it was Sarah North. She was a new teacher who just graduated from college and was 20 years old. She was wearing a white buttoned up long sleeve shirt with a black cardigan sweater and a long black skirt with black heels.

But lets ignore that and pay attention to her body, her pale white skin, her alluring blue eyes, and her silky jet black hair. And don't forget about those alluring curves either.

"Hey Alex," as Sarah saw me working she greeted with a wave and walked towards me.

Her voice was like an angel's. I honestly could hear her talk all day and would never get bored of it.

"Hey Sarah, how are you doing?" I asked her with a smile.

"I'm doing good thank you. How are you?" She replied back. This conversation is so generic, why can't I think of a subject where she could laugh or something. This is what I get for being a introvert for the most of my life.

I'm a 21 years old virgin and I have no experience with girls. Yeah, I'm 21 years old and still a virgin gotta problem with that? I was pretty smart kid back in high school, getting straight A's and earning a scholarship to Regom University, which was one of the top universities in Regom City and is the city I'm currently living in.

All I did was study back then, it's the main reason why I never talked to anyone. Cause all I did was study and if I kept on doing that I would probably would have been a successful person but I did not, reason why I'm stuck working this terrible job.

"Well I'm right now cleaning the mess the kids made, so I feel pretty good right now"

"Yeah the mess they made was truly much to clean, I'll be sure to tell them to make less of a mess for you" Thank you Sarah, for being the only person that cares! you're not like those other teachers who just watch the kids make a mess and do nothing.

Sarah then looked at the watch on her wrist that was hidden underneath her sleave.

"Oh look at the time, I got to go to my class and teach the kids. Bye Alex, I'll talk to you tomorrow."

She then turned away and started to hurry away to her class.

I then started finishing up cleaning the cafeteria and a few hrs later I finally finished.

Now since I'm done cleaning up, it's time to leave.

As I then walked through the school doors everything turned white.

What the hell? where the hell am I? Did a printer drop on me or something?

A voice then spoke as if he read Alex's thoughts. It was a cold emotionless voice of man. Why does it have to be a mans voice...

"No you did not die you idiot."

"Wait if I didn't die why the hell am I here."

"Stop questioning and allow me to talk."

Hearing his command, I just closed my mouth and waited for him to speak. Seeing that I was being quiet he went on.

"Your life has been complete shit. You've studied so much so that you can be a successful person but dropped out. You're still a virgin and you haven't even had a girlfriend. Your life is truly miserable."

I couldn't stand it. Was I sent here to just get a spoken history of the worst time and traits of my life? I know I'm a virgin and I know my life sucks! So I yelled in anger.

"Shut up! Why the hell are reiterating my life? Are you just doing this to make fun of my life?"

"Shut up and keep on listening you virgin!" With the yell of the voice the temperature turned cold and the feeling of death came upon me.

I closed my mouth immediately feeling such an oppressing aura. Oh what the hell is this? why god, why did you have to do this to me.

"For your shitty life you'll be given a system, it'll help you get a better life, make you stronger, and be your long life friend. So will you accept this offer?"

Oh hell yes! If this voice is being true to his word, then yes I will accept. I would then be able to quit this shitty and job and get a better one. I would maybe even become a billionaire and laugh to those colleagues of mine who call themselves successful and have millions in their bank.

I would even become stronger, allowing me to actual fight those gangsters that would jump me and rob everything away from me.

And I would finally have a best friend! My very first friend! I don't care if my first friend is a non-living human being. My very first friend!

I then nodded to the voice.

"You have accepted the offer. The system will belong to you. Good luck, you'll need it"

Everything then turned back to normal the moment the voice finished talking. I was back in front of the school exit. So where is this system that voice was talking about?

So I call out "Hey system you hear me?"

"Don't speak out loud you dumb ass. I can hear you if you just think it."

The voice of a girl soon appeared and cursed me.

"damn, aren't we supposed to be friends?"

"I never agreed to that did I"

"But the guy told that you would be my friend..."

"That old man doesn't speak for me, so why do I have to be your friend?"

"Forget it, so how do you help me?"

After asking the question a menu popped up.

What the hell is this, as I looked through the menu I couldn't help but be speechless.

"What is this!?" I asked.

"It's your stats"

"This is my stats?!?! Why did you make my stats so bad?"

"Well it's the truth so don't blame me instead of your own being."

"Well, I just obtained this system, I'll get stronger later right."

"Yeah... You'll totally get stronger."

Yes if I can get stronger in the future I'll be able to beat those gangsters.

"Alright I'm done talking, you go do your business."

The system voice disappeared.

Well I might as well go buy my noodles since I need to restock up on my instant noodle.

After buying the noodles from the closest convenience store I noticed that it turned dark then started walking back to my apartment.

"Hey stop."

I stopped as the system's voice appeared out of nowhere.

"What is it?" I asked.

"There seems to be a girl in trouble. She's surrounded by 3 guys, I think she needs help"

"I can't do shit. I'm weak and there's three guys while I'm one."

"Don't worry, I'll give you the powers to fight those guys."

"Really! Yes, if you can give me the power, I'll fight those guys"

"Then keep on walking and you'll find the 4 of them."

I then nodded and kept on walking forward until I saw the 3 guys and girl. The streets I walked were dark and the only things on the street were street lights and some passerby. As I kept on walking I finally saw the girl being surrounded by the guys.

The moment I laid eyes on the girl, it made me want to save her even more.

Since she was under a light and not other guys I was able to see what she looked like.The girl was wearing loose casual clothing but you could see here fine figure underneath. She had long brown and piercing eyes with supple pink lips. I'm gonna become prince charming and save the damsel distress.

"Alright I powered you up, you'll easy beat those guys up." the system told me

"Alright, let's do this."

As I then walked up to the people in front and stopped before them, I said

"Stop right there, 3 guys, harassing a girl, aren't you guys ashamed?"

hearing my voice, the group of people then turned around and the 3 guys gave me the face as if they were looking at an idiot.

One of the guys walked forward. oh shit, it's one of the gangsters that robs me now and then. But this time I have the power to beat you guys up. I'll exact my revenge today!

"No get away, you won't be able to defeat those guys. They're stronger and outnumber you" The girl told me to leave.

"I got this." I said back to the girl in confidence. Don't worry princess I'll definitely save you!

The gangster who walked up said in a mocking tone

"Oh look at we have here, it's that guy we robbed the other day. How about you walk away and forget what you saw."

"No, I won't run away. I'm sick of the way you live your life, I'll take the responsibility to exact justice!"

I must've sounded really cool right there. I bet after I beat these guys up the girl will hug me and fall in love with me.

I then charged up to the guy and punched. He then went flying away... wait what? The punch did nothing. The guy was still standing in the same place. He wasn't budged a bit.

I then spoke to the system.

"Hey, wasn't I supposed to able to beat these guys up?!? what happened to the powers you gave me?!?!"

"What power?" the system replied in a indifferent voice

"The power you said you given me to beat these guys!"

"I don't remember saying that and stop annoying me."

The system then disappeared as if this situation wasn't her problem.

I then started walking back slowly and said.

"I'm just gonna walk away and forget everything I saw."

I then turned and ran and the three guys chased after me.

And that was how I got into the not so very ideal situation...

I was told that this system would help me.

I was told that this system would make me stronger.

I was told that the system would be my long life friend.

SO WHY IN THE HELL IS IT TRYING TO KILL ME!
