1 Chapter one: The move in

Juno could never remember how she had arrived in this world, nor how she ended up where she was now. The young girl seemed to be stuck in an apartment, with no memories of her life up to that point.

Juno was 16, and as many put it, a ghost. Though she didn't understand she was dead, she knew something was wrong since no one could see her. She was in her usually spot in the vacant corner, when she heard a commotion outside the door. A group of men entered and began to bring boxes in.

She was rather excited to finally have someone new, but then it dawned on her that they probably couldn't see her. Her focus dawned on a brown haired male that entered the room.

"Jesper! Where do you want the electronics?" The male turned around, his gaze falling slightly on the girl before instructing the movers.

He couldn't have seen her, right? His gaze lingered a bit in her direction so she tested the limits. She hesitantly walked towards the workers and watched them, all the while the male watched. Once the movers left he turned to her

"This is my home. If you're done moving get out. If not I'll call the police"

She was startled and walked up to him "y-you can see me?!" She was overjoyed that this man could see her, that her eyes shined with happiness.

The man stared at her like she was insane and backed away, looking at a stack of paperwork. "If my dad sent you here to keep an eye on me then fuck off. I'm not a kid anymore. Get the hell out of my home now" he went to push her out the door and froze. His hand had gone right through her

She looked at his hand then back up at him "sorry. But.....it seems I can't exactly leave?" The man glared at her before hooking up a computer and ignoring her. She watched him before going off to a different room.

Only then did Jesper sigh in confusion and try to look up some research. After a few hours he stomped towards her "how did you die?"

She looked up at him after playing with a cat spirit "I don't know. I have no memories"

This caused Jesper to groan "you're a ghost. You're dead! How do you not know! God I'm never going to get rid of you! The internet says to figure out how you died and then you'll go away"

As the man ranted, Juno watched him curiously "what's your thing against other people? Do they bother you so much?"

The male glared at her "I despise them. Just. Stay the hell out of my way, I don't want to deal with you"

Jesper slammed his door shut and mentally facepalmed. He didn't need to slam the doors since technically he was the only one living there

Juno watched him leave before looking outside. How exactly did she die and why was she still there?
