8 Chapter 6: Meeting my parents

After getting "woken up" by my alarm clock I got ready for school.

Me thinking: Should I absorb the two cores now system?

System: Host is advised to absorb the cores later because the absorption will take around an hour.

Me Thinking: I guess I should have enough time before my parents will be home. So I will do it after I get home from school. But to start quickly I should get the cores out of the pistols.

And after I removed the cores from the pistols I went to school. Where I meet up with Laura.

Me: Hi Laura you seem exhausted.

Laura: Hey Julia your right I didn't have enough sleep last night. And am could we...

Me thinking: What is wrong with her she seems like she is nervous? And she really looks like the angel from last night. Hey, system is she an angel?

After this conversation, we quickly went to the class, and right after classes, I went home to absorb the two cores. And I fell unconscious and that is really bad because my parents should be there in an hour. After nearly an hour I woke up.

Me: Fuck why did this make me fall unconscious I thought that I just need to be at a safe place so if something went wrong I would be safe.

That's when the bell rung

And that's what I did I quickly created some clothes fit for today's event and went to the door to let my parents in but before I could do that my system talked again.

System: The requirement for the second evolution is that host needs to at least absorb 50 grams of proteins.

Me: Okay system, but please stop talking for now.

And I finely opened the door.

Me: Hi Mom, Dad how have you been?

My Mom: Your Father and I are fine, and how has our daughter been you seem to have grown a loot.

My Dad: That's right your even taller than me.

Me: Well I had a growth spurt after turning 18 sins than I have started doing sports.

My Mother: That sounds great but look how late it is we need to hurry up or we would be late at the restaurant.

My Father: Oh honey your right let's go, the restaurant is really strict. Not that we get kicked out.

Me thinking: As if that would happen you could just by the howl place.

And well after this weird conversation with my parents, we went to the restaurant. After we arrived we took our seats and ordered. I ordered a 500-gram steak even if I first wanted to just eat a salad but after what the system said I choose the steak to eat enough proteins. will we were waiting for our food my parents and I talked a bit but I always feel like my parents are not really interested in me and that they don't love me. And that's probably the case because there always just think about themselves and their money. And yes my parents are rich as fuck like really rich. So I and my parents talked about some irrelevant shit until our food was ready and then we began eating and will eating speaking is prohibited by my parents because they say that will your eating you should just enjoy the food. After eating I tried starting a conversation again but.

My Mother: Oh honey look we need to hurry we need to cache our flight.

My Father: Yes honey, well it was nice to see you again daughter.

Me: Yes it was nice.

My Mother: Yes bye we will let you know when we'll have time to meet up again.

And that was it my parents are gone again for how long no one knows and I'm standing before the restaurant all alone. So I made my way home and after getting back home I started crying in my bed until I heard my system.

System: Host I back at a safe place and host has absorbed 123 grams of proteins. System will start the second evolution.

And I slowly started falling "asleep" will crying.
