3 Chapter 02
It's already been two years since we started the Academy, and I can say it wasn't all that bad.
Except for the teaching in basics like science or maths I learned a lot about the history of the Shinobi world before the rise of the hidden villages.
The geography was also really useful because I didn't know where some countries were, and this would be of use to me once I decide to travel.
Also, the Shurikenjutsu lesson was useful because I never trained it and focused much more on ninjutsu and building my body for Taijutsu as I enjoyed using my fist to fight, I will later use Kenjutsu once I find the perfect sword for me.
Unless to say, I was first in Shurikenjutsu and Taijutsu, and Tsunade always second.
We both beat the crap out of Jiraiya every time we had faced each other.
And when the instructor put Tsunade and me for sparring, she directly goes all out destroying the terrain to the point he abandoned the idea of putting us against each other unless needed.
Tsunade loved to fight with her fist too and we looked like maniacs while fighting.
During this time we also made a couple of friends and right now we were going out to eat together.
Our group was composed of Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Dai, Shikuro, and us.
Our friendship grew a lot during those two years.
I was already friends with Orochimaru even if he was not someone prone to open conversation with others, he eventually opened to me.
He inquired a lot about my knowledge of Ninjutsu and talking about it with him is interesting.
Jiraiya was always joking and with Dai, it made a spectacular combination of a loud pervert and a loud...Just loud guy.
Jiraiya always challenged me in terms of Ninjutsu and Dai in Taijutsu, I guess because I was a rival to both they established a closer friendship.
Shikuro was always with us, well, he still doesn't speak unless you ask him something but even then he always responds in the fewer words possible.
Tsunade never openly said it but she enjoyed hanging out with them, Tsundere you know.
She enjoyed the company of Orochimaru more, maybe because he looked like a girl but I guess it's mostly because the other three are either too festive or too discrete.
Sadly, Teuchi is not yet born meaning I cannot have a taste of the famous ramen...
I will for sure try to be at the opening of the restaurant.
Anyway, we were going to a restaurant held by the Akimichi family and took a table in a corner big enough for six.
We decided to order their specialty, an assortment of different meat with all types of seasoning, all of it to cook on a barbecue.
As we were in the middle of eating Tsunade looked at me before turning her head at everyone saying "There is something I need to tell you all, we decided to ask for early graduation along with Yuichi-nii because we already know everything the Academy can teach us. This means that we will surely see each other less often..."
Jiraiya and Dai were startled about this news but Orochimaru didn't look so surprised. He surely guessed it for a while.
"When do you pass the exams?" said Jiraiya
I responded "We will ask about it tomorrow, the sooner the better because we live in a warring state, Tobirama sensei do his utmost to bring peace but I feel like it will not be soon. We need to train more and staying as an Academy student is a waste of time."
"Then I will ask for early graduation tomorrow too!" said Jiraiya
"YOSH, if Jiraiya does it I cannot be left behind!" yelled Dai
"I already felt like you would ask for it, Academy's teaching is boring anyway so I will do it too." calmly added Orochimaru
"...I will do it too..." whispered Shikuro
"You guys...Alright then let's promise something. Let's become the six greatest Shinobi of the era!" I said to pump them up as I put my hand in front of us.
Then one by one we put our hands on each other's and said in unison "To our friendship!" x6
So it feels like this to be a Shonen protagonist, quite useful to build trust between us.

The next day we all arrived early in class to talk with our professor about early graduation.
"So all six of you want to try graduating today?" he sighs them continues "I mean, I understand for some of you and wouldn't mind but even then I need to talk about it to the Hokage. You are only six years old after all."
"When can it be done?" I exclaimed
"After the morning classes at noon, I will go to the Hokage office. If he agrees then your exams will surely occur once afternoon classes end."
We still assisted the teaching occurring this morning and while we were eating, because I had made a small wood clone to stick on the teacher I could hear him talk with Tobirama.
"Hmmm...So Tsunade, Yuichi, Maito Dai, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Shikuro Aburame want to graduate earlier together." said Tobirama slightly surprised.
"Yes Hokage-Sama."
"From what you told me about them and what Yuichi said about his friends when we had some small talks, they all have the potential to become great Shinobi. I will agree for them to pass the exams, I will also assist the practical one." continued Tobirama.
Great, I know that the teacher thinks Dai was not good to go, but every time I am with Tobirama to talk about the academy I told him about who my friends were and what their potential is.
I told him who I wanted to be a Genin team with and why.
Dai Taijutsu level is too high to be wasted in the Academy and Tobirama knows I don't just praise anyone.

As everybody except the six of us left the classroom, the teacher decided to give us each a paper sheet for the written exam, each of us was at a good distance between and we all had different questions.
Now the questions are easy, mainly on our knowledge in science, history, geography but also on the basics of chakra learning.
I'm not worried about any of us doing badly there, I kinda forced Dai and Jiraiya to memorize the lesson on geography, history, and science because they find them boring.
Our next exam was on Ninjutsu, more importantly, the Transformation Technique and the Clone Technique.
We had to wait for each other outside of the classroom when another one was doing what was asked for this round.
Dai still barely passed it.
He doesn't only know Taijutsu, he can perform some Ninjutsu but his love for Taijutsu is so high he never pays attention to the other Jutsu and never developed in them.
Next was the Taijutsu exam, we had to spar against a Chūnin.
The goal was to either defeat him or not surrender for a minute.
The battle was done in a circle ring and if one of us is out of it he will fail the exam.
If we can bring out of the ring the Chūnin it will count as a success too.
While we were waiting outside, Tobirama came to see us as he said before.
"Hokage-sama!" everyone said
" I came to see how our six little students will do in Taijutsu." Tobirama responded, with the typical Hokage's clothing.
"Now that everyone is here, you will go in the circle when I call your name and will face different Chūnin. The first will be Shikuro Aburame." explained the teacher.
I will pray for the one facing him...Aburame clan is not known for his Taijutsu prowess but Shikuro host the rinkaichū...If he wants to he can prevent any contact or else you will be injured to death...
"Good luck Shikuro, just dodge everything we don't want to kill a fellow Konoha shinobi..." I said to him
"...Yes."
He then goes into the ring and faced a surely soon to die Chūnin, he had simple black hair and I couldn't see his eyes, it looked like he had a sort of black shade there, strange...
The teacher then said "Do the seal of confrontation, now begin!"
Right after the teacher signal the Chūnin rushed to Shikuro and initiated a kick right in the solar plexus, but right before reaching him he dodged to the side and took off his thin gloves to show his purple skin.
This gave a huge scare to the Chūnin when he saw that it was moving, like millions of insects crawling.
"This is poisonous right? What the hell! I was asked to spar not to die if I ever touched my opponent! I give up, I cannot touch you in a Taijutsu only battle..."
"Alright, do the seal of reconciliation.
Shikuro Aburame you passed." said the teacher.
"He sure is one of a kind if he can bear to host the rinkaichū, only one Aburame member carries the antibodies required in each generation..." remarked Tobirama
"Alright now Jiraiya on the ring."
"It's my time to shine finally! Hey, Tsunade if I am the quickest to win can you lend me your panti-" Jiraiya couldn't finish as he was punched by Tsunade inside the ring.
Damn pervert you deserved it.
"...Please do the seal of confrontation. Now start!"
It was the same Chūnin who faced Shikuro, he still had a lot of stamina because of how short the last spar was.
When the fight started both of them hurried at each other, Jiraiya swung his right fist at the Chūnin genitals which he immediately responded by using his hands to block but right when it should hit Jiraiya redirected his punch at the Chūnin jaw.
The Chūnin took a few steps back before saying "You cunning little f*cker..." before taking Jiraiya more seriously and send many kicks and punches making Jiraiya back off to the limit of the stage.
Then when the last hit should push Jiraiya out he tripped and fell on the Chūnin leg that was still on the ground because he was in the process of kicking.
This made the Chūnin fall behind Jiraiya out of the ring.
Everyone looked in disbelief at this ending before hearing Jiraiya saying as he got up "See? I can defeat someone this easily, now praise the great Jiraiya hahaha!"
"..."
Regardless, the next one was Orochimaru and he succeeded by dodging every blow which was directed at him. If I remember correctly he never was a good Taijutsu user and had moderate strength but his speed was great and his reflex too.
The next one was Dai and he faced a different Chūnin with brown hair and still impossible to see eyes.
There is no better moment for him to shine and he did not disappoint any of us.
When the test started Dai instantly rushed and used his Leaf Whirlwind directly overpowering his opponent by using a strong left high kick which was barely blocked but he followed with a right low kick propelling the poor Chūnin out of the ring.
"He's already this quick and powerful at this age interesting..." mumbled Tobirama
Next was Tsunade's turn, she was excited to fight, unlike the teacher who was profusely sweating.
He surely has flashbacks of Tsunade's aftermath.
"Tsu-chan remember what I told you?" I said to her
"Yes! If they talk punch them if they come punch them if they run punch them!"
She's growing fast I thought with a little tear falling from my left eye.
No need to say how the fight went, the Chūnin fearlessly dashed to Tsunade only to take Tsunade's first right in the face getting sent to infinite and beyond.
It was finally my turn so without the teacher saying my name I got up from where I was before hearing Tobirama "I will be the one facing Yuichi, I know him well and this is the occasion to see how much he improved."
Well, thank God I love fighting but isn't this completely unfair???
The teacher didn't even say a thing, I call power abusing!
"As you wish Hokage-sama" in public I always call him like this.
We then positioned in the ring, I had to be focused
because I felt like he won't go easy on me.
When the teacher gave the starting signal I immediately darted towards Tobirama.
One thing I know about him is his speed. He created the Flying Thunder God Technique so obviously he had enough speed to mark people with his Space-Time Ninjutsu.
His strength didn't lack either.
As I reached him I send a powerful kick toward his ribs but he dodged it with a body flicker and appeared behind me to swing his left elbow at me which I prevented by blocking it with my hands.
I followed my blocking with a knee blow at Tobirama's stomach which surprised him a bit but not enough to get hit by me as he sidestepped to the left.
Of course, I knew we did not go all out, Tobirama was limiting himself to a Jōnin in terms of power, and I did not go further than it too.
After a couple of seconds in trading blows, the teacher finally signaled the timeout meaning I passed too.
As everyone looked at me in disbelief except Tsunade, Tobirama said "Even by only using Taijutsu you reach Jōnin level at the age of six...I hope you will continue to grow and maybe become a future Hokage Yuichi."
"Thank you Hokage-Sama!" I said, even though I had no interest in becoming Hokage.
"Alright, you will have your result tomorrow morning before classes. I want you to come to the class one hour before we begin, is that clear?"
"YES!" x6
