1 New beginning
One-piece world, on an island located in East blue, the morning sun started to rise.
At the North East side, there was a high cliff facing the sea. Although there still remain cold in the air, someone was already on the cliff, training.

Eragon couldn't help but ruminate as he put another bait on the hook before throwing it into the water again. In the last four years, he has been fishing almost every day to earn experience points, it wasn't easy to accumulate his current amount of exp. And he couldn't allow himself to be lazy, after all, he's currently in a different world, and with his current measly strength he could easily get into some random pirate raids and die. that will be a real embarrassment for him...
That's right, he has been reborn into one piece world. at first, he was in denial since he couldn't believe he actually got reincarnated like in all the novels he read in his past world.
In his first life he was an orphan and had no home, never knowing who his parents were. He lived in the streets till the age of ten, until the foster care system found him. But that didn't help as he was a wild child and too indisciplined, no foster family wanted to adopt him... He was forced to move from one place to another every few months. The only thing that helped him keep going and not give up to despair was reading his novels and watching anime, a sort of escape from real life.
So it didn't came as a surprise that as soon as he came of age, he enlisted in the army. Serving in the army seemed like a good way out at the time, it at least gave him a purpose and a roof over his head.
After grueling training and several years of service, he was appointed commander of a special operations unit.
His unit would undertake extremely dangerous missions all around the world, missions that no other soldiers could ever complete successfully, except for them. Of course, the risk of dying was exceptionally high but he and his team didn't care. They were all broken on the inside already and death didn't scare them...
During one of their missions, they were tasked to retrieve an antiquity box at an enemy state. Their mission was a success, but during their retreat, they were discovered. He and his unit were chased for 3 days without rest until he was the sole survivor.
His only choice was to run towards the borders of the country, but he underestimated his pursuer's determination to capture him.
So the last thing he did before they managed to kill him, was breaking the damn box!
Hell will freeze before he lets anyone profit from his death. And at last, he lost consciousness... Just to open them again and find himself in the hands of someone who seemed like a giant to him.
Uhhh the heart attack he almost got!!
Only after some time, with lots of denials he finally realized, unbelievable as it may sound, he was reborn!!
And the message that popped into his mind afterward only confirmed what he already suspected.
It was a voice rigid like a machine, without any hints of human emotions. And impossible to distinguish between male or female.

At first, he really thought he struck it rich, but it couldn't be farther from the truth. in order to initialize the system, he had to have 10,000 experience points. and before that, he couldn't do anything else with this system so currently it was just a useless system…but today all of that was about to change, he already had 9,999 experience points, he is just one short!!
After many trial and error experiences, he was able to figure out how the system works.
The system function by drawing energy from every living creature he kills, it does not matter if he defeats a creature, he must kill it.

So at first, he started by killing ants, worms, cockroaches, and every little insect he managed to find and kill with his meager power as a small child. But the exp he got from them was so little that it caused him endless frustration, 0.01 points on an ant, and insects a little bigger 0.05 points
He couldn't hunt rabbits and mice with his low speed, so he settled for the next best alternative he could find- fish
In the beginning, he felt like he would never make it to 10,000 points. But with perseverance, it's possible to fulfill tasks that at first seemed impossible
Trying not to think about it, he resumed his training again to distract himself. That was his routine, since he couldn't rely on the system to get stronger he could only use the old fashioned way. Every morning he will start by jogging to the Cliff, and do strength training while waiting for fish to take the bait
As minutes passed, he finally caught his long-awaited fish!

That's right he only had two skills available to learn, and both of them needed 10,000 experience points. since he already Considered the pros and cons of both choices long ago, now all that was left was to purchase the skill. (A/N: let's be honest here guys, if he chose KI then in a few years he could blow the plant to pisses... KI is too OP, and I don't want to write about an MC who is OP, not from the start at least..)
The truth is, it does not really matter what he chooses, after he learns how to use Chakra or Ki he will be able to gain another 10,000 exp much easier than before and learn the other one as well. So he went with the series he loved the most and went for Chakra.
