"Dammit! It freaking hurts!",
Cussed a raven-haired young man with peculiar yet mesmerizing golden eyes who was covered in grains of sand from head to toe as he patted himself.
"Ugh, I swear old man. If what you said is true, I'd kick your ass someday. Bet on it!"
His entire body ached so much that he thought a group of thugs had ganged up on and beat the shit out of him before tossing him out for reincarnation. Like, literally.
And oh, that's right, he was one of those typical protagonists who had undergone a cliche reincarnation process that we often see in some fictional novels.
"And great! A rough landing and then only to find out that I was tossed somewhe- where the hell am I anyway?"
Stretching his back and correcting his posture while turning his head around, only then he realized that he was on the sandy shore of an island... out of nowhere.
As he limply strode towards where the thicket was to find cover from the burning heat of the sun despite the occasional cool-blowing windy breeze, he said and asked himself...
"I hope this is an uninhabited island or better yet, with people who do not abhor getting along with some strangers. There are no freaking cannibals or huge predatory beasts here right?"
He soon found a place to sit under the thin shade of the leaves of a tropical tree, comfortably leaning his back at its trunk but still maintaining his vigilance, heightening and utilizing his senses as he could.
'So... I'm in 'Planetos'. The old man didn't send me far away from the 'Westeros' mainland, did he? Forget about 'Essos', I'd probably only end up as a slave there.', he wondered inwardly.
'Let's not forget the last major continent and the other minor lands, I surely won't last long if I am somewhere in those.'
'I read some articles about it back then and all I can say is, although it still remained a mystery, I'm certain that I won't be liking the horrors hidden in those lands.'
He continued his self-monologuing, terrified at the sudden emergence of a horrific thought.
He was somehow worried that he might end up miserable or croak halfway through his journey.
Deep inside his heart, being in Westeros alone was already too dangerous.
Who knows when he might accidentally cross paths with some wildings and then get butchered and eaten in the end?
Not counting those pale, blue-eyed undead freaky necromancer who enjoys tearing their prey into pieces.
He still wanted to live and enjoy his newly given life, at least before he comes across those things.
He soon submerged himself in his own thought. His eyes towards the rolling carpet of crashing waves on the shore and seemingly in a daze for some time, a bit somber.
And it was at that moment that the thing he had been granted before his transmigration, emerged.

'Oh, Here it is! Mwuehehe I almost forgot about that.', he mused, snapping out of his thoughts.
Its emergence somehow lightened up his somber mood and was inwardly starting to get too enthusiastic.

'Hold on, hold on... Since I have been given these choices right now, does that mean that depending on which route I would take, I can only develop in only one way minus the other?'
The young man was still for a moment and remained to ponder for quite a while. Still undecided on which route to choose, he decided to ask...
"Let's say, I'll choose the Kingdom building route. Does it mean that I cannot rely on the things in the system to develop and strengthen myself?"
He was quite worried if that was somehow the case given his bare knowledge of the world and its dangers that would pose a threat to himself and anything related to him in the future.
And, although he hadn't gotten quite far on the show before things for him took a turn, he had mostly grasped what kind of world he was currently in... at least that's what he thought.

"... Oh, well? care to elaborate?"

"... As I have just asked, would you care to elabora- you know what, fine! I understand. I get it already. Alright? Thanks for the very detailed information."
He responded with a hint of irony, exasperated that he couldn't get much information out of it.
Nonetheless, he did confirm that what he was so worried about won't happen. Either of the two choices he chooses, things won't at least be set in stone.
In the end, he finally made up his mind and chose, "Alright, let's go with the Kingdom Building route. I'd like to experience what it is like to become a king of a kingdom made from scratch."

And what better way to realize his vision and etch his mark on the world's history books than by choosing a noble name that would be greatly renowned thought-out the world...
"Alright, I've decided. From now onwards, I'll be called Arthur Realmbridge."
