Heihei's Daily Life

Heihei came to this world with his master, Li Wenmin, from Earth. He is a black cat with white socks on his paws. Our little Heihei is a handsome cat with a shy voice and big round eyes. He likes to eat homemade wet food.

When Heihei first came here, he knew that this place was different from his original world. His new home was built using mud, wood and miscellaneous things. Heihei was a city cat, living his daily life being pampered by Wenmin and his parents.

However, he wasn't panicked when he realised that everything had changed because his master, Wenmin, was with him in this world. He still lives his life being pampered by Wenmin but feels like this world is much cleaner and more peaceful than his previous world.

He listened to Wenmin's mumbles, knew that this world has three genders, and wondered if the cats in this world also have three genders. Heihei wasn't interested in the female cats he had met at the cat hotels where he had gone. 'If the male cats in this world can also give birth to kittens, that settles it'.

Heihei rarely went out with Wenmin, he only moved around the courtyard and in the house. Wenmin said he would bring Heihei out on a walk once he became familiar with this world. There's no leash and collar here in this world. Heihei never wore any collar before too.

Heihei once went inside a thing called space by Wenmin. There was a vast land with many vegetables and fruit plants in space. There was also a pond and a lotus in the middle of the pond.

Wenmin once gave him spring water from space to drink, it tasted refreshing and ever since then, Wenmin would at least provide him with spring water once a day. Heihei began to feel like his body had been through some changes. He could think, unlike normal cats, Heihei could understand what Wenmin was talking about and express his thoughts even though he only meowed.

His body also felt lighter, and he could feel some aura from inside his body. Whenever Wenmin would cultivate, the qi and aura from Heihei's surroundings would also enter his body. It felt like a metamorphosis, and his body grew slightly bigger.

One day, when Heihei was playing alone in the courtyard, he heard the bushes under the fruit trees shake. Heihei was curious and went to look; Wenmin wasn't inside the house. He probably went to the town or Xinyi's house.

He went through the bush and saw a lump of orange fur with black stripes. The lump was as big as he was, and it seemed like it was injured. Heihei knew that it was a tiger cub. He had seen it on TV with Wenmin's dad before.

Wenmin braved himself and went near the cub. The cub opens its eyes and whimpers, begging Heihei to save its life. Heihei knew how hard it was to survive in the world. Before Wenmin adopted him, he was also a stray kitten. Luckily Wenmin adopted him.

Heihei licked the cub's cheeks, ran inside the house and bit a few of the boiled fish that Wenmin cooked for him. He runs back and forth between the house and the backyard several times. He puts the cooked fish in front of the cub and meows once or twice, ordering the cub to eat.

The cub was weak, he couldn't stand and could only lean on the ground while eating the fish. It was alright. It's just bland, which is tolerable. It may not be enough for a tiger who devours meat, but for now, this is the best he could eat.

The cub finished eating and roared lowly at Heihei. It looks like Heihei and the cub were talking with each other. Heihei learned that the cub was lost, and he had been travelling alone down the mountain behind Wenmin's house. He doesn't have a name as he was still young.

Since the tiger cub doesn't have a name, Heihei decided to give it a name and settled with Xiao Hu, which means little tiger. Xiao Hu growled aggrievedly, 'how can a mighty tiger like me be called little by a cat like you?'. Heihei said that since the cub is younger than him, he has to be the little brother.

Heihei doesn't know if Wenmin will keep Xiao Hu, but for the time being, Heihei can share his food with Xiao Hu whenever Wenmin doesn't pay attention. Since Wenmin also has been dropping a few drops of spring water inside Heihei's drinking bowl, Heihei also shares it with Xiao Hu.

Whenever Wenmin goes out, he leaves the kitchen window slightly open for Heihei to do his business. That was how Heihei managed to sneak in and out of the house, he was also able to sneak in Xiao Hu whenever Wenmin wasn't at home.

After a few weeks, the injury on Xiao Hu has also been cured, but Xiao Hu still stays in the backyard of Wenmin's house, and he has been keeping safe of the place without Wenmin's knowing about it. Maybe it was because Xiao Hu also drank the spring water from Wenmin's space; whenever Wenmin cultivates, Xiao Hu will also go through some changes.

Heihei realised that Xiao Hu had grown bigger and stronger, and the injured scars had also disappeared. But Xiao Hu still looks like a tiger cub, a BIG tiger cub. The situation doesn't look good; Xiao Hu may be found sooner or later.

Heihei knows that he has to let Wenmin know about Xiao Hu sooner or later, plus he hears that a soldier named Chen Jiahao is interested in Wenmin. Heihei had seen him once and heard about him. He seems reliable and robust, and with him around, Heihei knew that he could protect Wenmin and control Xiao Hu.

Heihei has made his decision, he decided to let Wenmin know about it first. Then if Wenmin were willing to keep Xiao Hu, Wenmin would also coax Jiahao to keep Xiao Hu. Heihei shared his plan with Xiao Hu; Xiao Hu thought that this Chen Jiahao may or may not already know about his existence.

They decided they would let Wenmin know about it when he returned from sending the food to Jiahao. This was the first time that Heihei was willing to let some other animals get near Wenmin. Before this, even if there was a stray nearing Wenmin, he would hiss and wouldn't be near Wenmin if he smelled any cats on Wenmin.

The thing about Xiao Hu was that he wasn't just any ordinary tiger; Xiao Hu still didn't tell him about himself fully. He would tell Heihei and Wenmin when the time came. Right now, his priority is to absorb Li Wenmin's cultivation aura and take Heihei as his bride... Thus both of them waited for Wenmin in the backyard together.
