Ch 6

On the next day, the disciples woke up earlier than they normally did. They were motivated by the elder's words and begun their diligent training.

Every Outer sect disciple gathered at a clean space and a middle age man sat on the middle. He wore an animal skin and his presence radiates wildness.

The man glanced at the new faces, he stood up and began stretching.

"You all, do what I'm doing!"

Despite their confusion, the disciples did as they were told. With difficulty, they tried to follow the elder, gently twisting their waist and stretching their limbs. Some cried in pain, but the man's fierce look prevented any complaints.

Adel happen to see Jiang Chen doing the exercise with familiarity and skill, rivaling that of the instructor.

With his God Eyes, he was able to see the surrounding Qi flowing into their bodies as they executed each motions. The Qi would flow depending on their motions, running through their meridians and into their dantian, storing the Qi inside for cultivation.

The children were not even aware of it.

Adel thought that it was such an ingenious method to teach people how to cultivate. It was almost as good as the modern world's standard exercise for civilians. He followed along; he was more skillful among his peers as he was familiar with such exercises, but there were times he would stumble on some parts.

They repeated the exercise for a hundred set and only then did the instructor let them rest. They were tired and sweaty, however a strange cooling sensation rose up from their dantian and refreshed their entire body. With this, they have officially stepped into the world of immortals.

The instructor let them rest while lecturing about meditations and such, and other concepts such as purifying their Qi from impurities and familiarizing themselves with it so that they can control it better.

The sun begun to set while the disciples are still outdoors, meditating. Adel went to his cave abode as he had no urgent need to meditate. He has complete control over the flow of his Qi, otherwise, it would be impossible for him to execute his innate arts.

Having found a free time, he decided to test out his divine skills, the God Arsenal. Every time he thought of how mighty the name sounded, he would feel gratified.

The first one was the Judgement Spear, it was fast, powerful, and cost little of his Qi to produce. If he had to state one disadvantage, it would be that once it appeared, it could not be recalled. He had not yet seen the true extent of its power as he had not seen it explode, hence he was careful and materialized a Judgement Spear the size of a needle. It hovered in his finger tips, with his signature; the golden Qi, weaving along its body.

With a thought, he sent the needle flying towards the floor. It drew a golden line and pierced through the ground with ease. The hole was the size of his pinky finger and the edges was smooth and hot. He took out a long, straight stick and measured the depth of the hole, it was nearly 6 feet to the ground.

This frightening prowess scared even himself. He never knew that he was such a powerhouse, for if he summoned thousands of these needles, and he could, he could wipe out an entire village...of normal people. Of course, he wouldn't commit such horrible act.

Despite their small appearance, the Judgement Spear could not be remotely controlled by his Qi. Once released, they would only fly in a straight line and would faithfully reach their destination without deviating from their path.

After fiddling with the first technique, he moved on to examine the others. The second technique was slightly weird. The description on his mind about it was simply about forming an orb made of Qi, it was a strong and resilient orb. Because of this, he named it Eternal Orb. After calling these set of skills the God Arsenal, he simply couldn't bear to give it a normal name such as Qi Orb, Golden Orb, Qi Blast, and others. Hence, the overbearing name.

The Judgement Spear emphasize the rapid rotation of his Qi, the Eternal Orb however, emphasize vibrations. It has two parts; the core and the crust. Both continuously repel and attract each other, providing stability and allowing not a single strand of Qi to escape from the cycle. Hence, the orb could remain as long as he wants it to.

As for its actual function, Adel does not have the slightest clue. He proceed to review the third skill.

"The third skill...is really viscous."

If this technique was spread, it would definitely be classified as a forbidden art sealed somewhere in a dark and lonely place.

The essence of this technique was to cultivate Qi, however, instead of converting Qi from nature into ones own, it instead opts to convert the Qi in a person's dantian to that of the user.

Every person possesses a unique Qi signature. That's why people brand their artifacts with their Qi, to prevent others from controlling it during a battle and to prevent people from turning their moves against their own.

It is possible to convert the Qi of other person into ones own, but it takes a lot of time, and requires the target to be dead or compliant. Forbidden arts like these are quite common, there are some which could directly extract Qi from the body regardless of the person's will.

However, the third technique of God Arsenal was more overbearing than its counterparts, it was tailor made for a tyrant.

Using Adel's Qi as a medium, he could directly transform the entire Qi in a person's body and change the original Qi signature into his own, even without extracting it out of the flesh. It would be similar to having two dantian. The life of that person would then be under his control.

"I need to find an opportunity to test this out." Adel said softly.
