1 Ch 1

It is known that after reincarnation, the chosen one would obtain some kind of a kickstart, usually something that breaks the balance.

Adel Zach, from the modern world of cultivators travelled back 10,000 years in time into the past. Adel was nothing extraordinary in the original time. He lived as a normal, law abiding citizen and easily blended with the masses. He wasn't a daredevil, he wasn't a deviant, nor an assassin who only kills bad people, nor does he have a high position in the current hierarchy. He wasn't that knowledgeable in the current cultivator trends and the latest techniques developed.

He had some knowledge but only as a layman. Good enough to live long and healthy, but not knowledgeable enough to apply it practically in battle.

Despite living a normal and peaceful life until now, he couldn't completely hide the incongruent and weird vibe that emits from him, from his eyes specifically. It doesn't give an intimidating aura or anything that would paralyze an opponent from a mere glare.

Its... perhaps a little more terrifying than that.

Let's take for example, right now he knew that about one minute and 14 second from now on, a drunk driver riding a truck would stray from the main road, collide on him and claim his life at exactly 30 feet away from where he is standing right now which is quite near the highway.

Its was very specific yet very vague at the same time. He couldn't control the rate at which his premonitions appear, but they come and go, often disappearing for a long time only to appear as if to remind him that he had this kind of ability.

Being able to peek at the future was one of his abilities, but it wasn't something he could control at will. Another was the ability to expertly control his own qi in a very precise manner. It doesn't sound that impressive, many could do that just fine. Aside from this, he still have a set of exclusive skills which he had yet to use once, because he found them unnecessary in the current peaceful era; that includes throwing a powerful qi spear. He just didn't know how powerful it was.

He named this group of abilities as God Eyes, since they came from his eyes. He knew fact this instinctively. He was aware that the name sound pretentious, it came from when he was experiencing the shame of his youth. He even came up with a name for some specific skills during those times; God Arsenal. He hoped to awe opponents and overwhelm them with his divine skills someday.

He couldn't deny that they sound cool and shocking, that's why he kept them that way and never changed the names. Not that he would have an opportunity to use them anyway.

God Eyes also come with varying side effect. The long term one is the partial lost of strong emotions. Never in his life did he get angry or sad or happy. He didn't know if he should be glad for that. Right now, though he only has 54 seconds before the premonition become true, he was still nonchalant about it.

In other words, he lack survival instinct.

He proceed to walk away from the site in order to shop for groceries

when he heard a rhythmic dull sound behind him. He turned and saw a ball bouncing towards the highway. He stood there for a moment and tried to let that sink into his brain.

A little girl was running after the ball and something was coming towards them with furious momentum. Adel could see the silhouette of a truck.

The premonition updated on time and informed him of his death. Only the time and location changed and he knew that there's no escape to it now.

'That's rare, it appeared twice in a row.' He thought to himself as the little girl managed to catch the ball. Adel was calm about it, the girl wouldn't die anyway.

Something fast tore through the wind and snatched the little girl away before the massive vehicle ran her over. It was a cultivator riding on a sword.

Meanwhile, the vehicle went straight to Adel and crushed his bones and internal organs. His awareness left him at that point.
