8 Chapter 08 - SHAZAM
"No!" Thor shouted as Joshua lifted Jane through the mid air.
Jane yelps in surprise but Joshua blocks her mouth.
"Okay, what the hell is going on? He is supposed to be on our side right?" Darcy exclaimed.
"Apparently not," Sif said as she parkour between the destroyed establishments to reach Joshua and attacked him with her sword.
Joshua just slightly moves sideways with a raised eyebrow with an expression of 'serious? what the hell are you doing?'
Volstagg, one of the warriors three, positions himself to Joshua's back while he is distracted by Sif.
With two hands, Vostagg holds his huge ax and throws it into Joshua's direction Hoping it can damage the white haired man.
Hogun and Fandal, also members of warriors three, go to Sif and help in distracting Joshua.
Joshua is quite excited as this was his first battle against seasoned warriors, He was wondering how these warriors just do what they do and the others will already know what their role is.
Volstagg's axe successfully hit Joshua, making Joshua go slightly off balance in mid air but quickly recovered.
Joshua felt slight soreness in his back.
"Come on man, fly straight!" Thor, worried about Jane, shouted.
The warrior three comically sweat.
Joshua glared at the three, "Just so you know, This is your fault."
"Kyahhhhh!!!!" Jane screams out of her lungs as Joshua throws her high up in the air.
"Ten seconds, Till landing," Joshua said.
The warriors three panic while Thor braces himself, He remembers him when he is detained by SHIELD asking about the hammer.
"Stop! Killing her won't do you good, Kill me instead," Thor proclaimed. Thor guessed that Joshua wanted something from him but he can point out what exactly it is.
Is self sacrifice worthy or it is called selflessness? Whatever it's called Joshua can't risk killing Thor so he decided he will just knock him out, give him some bruises or what not.
Diving on the ground, Joshua kicks Thor's stomach followed by a punch into chin knocking him out then finally he throws Thor slightly above ground then grabs his foot and throws him to the ground.
"I might have overdid it," Joshua said as he looked at Thor laying unconscious to the ground while in critical condition.
"You'll pay for that, ha!" Sif said with anger as she attacked with furiousness.
The warriors three followed her lead. They thought why not attack the man why he was still on land.
Joshua dashes toward them; he only has 7 seconds before Jane falls and inevitably dies on the ground.
Using all of his speed, Joshua deliver a right hook to Sif and much to his surprise Sif skillfully dodge and landed an attack to Joshua's nape
The sword failed to penetrate but the force in it made a small bruise to Joshua. Joshua then kicks Sif's right foot, tripping her.
As Sif tripped Joshua didn't stop and grabbed her head and threw her to the warriors three.
Joshua knew that he would lose in that exchange if not for his durability.
Volstagg caught her but got taken by the force and the two of them hit a building wall.
'4 seconds,' Joshua thought. Knowing that he has no time to enjoy the battle Joshua immediately flew.
Reaching Jane's location Joshua held Jane. He slowed down Jane's falling speed and delivered her to the ground safely.
"I knew you won't kill, but still…so scary," Jane said with a breath of relief white fixing her clothes that were messed up by air.
Joshua looked at the confused Fandral and Hogun then said, "Is he worthy yet?"
Fandral and Hogun got enlightenment that this man was only doing this to force Thor to be worthy but looking at the unmoving god of thunder Joshua might have overdid it.
But their worries prove to be for naught as Thor's hand opens and within seconds Mjolnir appears and places itself into Thor's hand.
With a couple of thunderous sound and lightning effects there he is the mighty Thor like in legends.
Thor looked at Joshua with a mad expression but his anger dissipated when he saw Jane fine beside Joshua.

[Superhuman senses activated, Magic power is now available.]
[Do you want to scan Mjolnir?]
'Yes, why not,' Joshua thought as lightning from his chess shot towards the hammer.
[Mjolnir successfully scanned. Do you want to create a weapon?]
Joshua is quite impressed by this development but decides to postpone it and deal with the current situation.
"What is that? What did you do?" Thor's voice is slightly close to shouting, he can't feel any difference from Mjolnir but Joshua clearly does something to it and with the previous actions of Joshua, Thor is 100% entitled to this feeling.
"Nothing that will concern you," Joshua said as he quickly flew out of the scene. Thor wanted to chase him but Sif and Jane stopped him and defended the white haired boy.
Thor is unsatisfied with that reasoning but he got to save Asgard from his brother anyway so having no choice he let Joshua go.
As for Joshua he didn't care about Thor any longer as he already got what he wanted but still Jane got pretty handsy while they were in the air.

Hotel, 6:00pm
Joshua is in his room right now and browsing the new features of the system. The first change is he can now craft weapons.
Well…a weapon, he can now create a single weapon that will only belong to him.
The weapon requires materials though and its strength, durability, and ability will be based on that metal.
Joshua thought of making his weapons out of titanium alloy but if he can acquire Uru he will certainly be happier which is declared by the system as the best material for magical weapons.
Uru might be heavy but it is the best conductor of magic and it is the top metal to retain enchantments.
Joshua can feel the strength of magic flowing all over his body. He figures that he has gone up in power by at least five times and the fact that he can now shoot electricity makes his life a little easier.
With that in mind Joshua knew that he still needed actual data about the increase of his powers so he exited the hotel and flew up in the sky.
Soaring through the wind Joshua confirmed that his flying speed drastically improved. His senses are now sharper and more powerful.
Reaching about 36,000 feet Joshua saw a plane even without focusing his hearing on it, he already knew that it was a passenger plane.
The passengers are in awe seeing a man outside of the plane flying.
"Look mom, a flying vampire," Joshua heard a kid say without excitement.
Joshua is not a vampire though, definitely.
Having red eyes and dressing black does not automatically make you a vampire.
Joshua then locked eyes to the eye of the passenger. She was beautiful of course she is, she is his ex-girlfriend.
Her wide eyes are moist almost to the point of crying, Joshua can hear her soft voice repeatedly saying his name.
This might be a big moment to the previous Joshua but to the current him she is just another normal girl. He doesn't care about her anymore.
