A Whole New World
"Where do I start? From the beginning of course. It was a sunny day as I hopped out of my house and towards school... Who am I kidding? I never got to experience school. Why? I'm a shut-in.
"I play games day and night in my room. My parents didn't even bother talking to me about school. They just let me be. I'm not being carefree just because we're rich. I actually earn a lot from gaming (⌐■◡■).
"Now I won't go into the deets but my life basically evolved around games. I join competitions, I stream and have my sponsors supporting me, have friends in-game, yadidadida~. Until this one time where I got really unlucky.
"Excited to buy an upgrade for my pc, I got changed before hopping out of the house. As I walked through the street, some rock flew out from the window of the house across the street, hit my head, and killed me.
"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately I have the dumbest reason for the grim reaper to come visit. Didn't even give my life a chance to flash before my eyes a second before I went to heaven ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ .
"But this is no heaven, is it? Clearly." She said to the dead dog in front of her.
"Look, just a few minutes after killing this guy and I'm talking to it like a best friend. I think I'm going insane." She muttered to herself.
"I mean, who wouldn't be when you die out of sheer coincidence that you were walking on the street and some rock flew out of nowhere, killing you. Then you expect to be in heaven but you get reincarnated in an unknown world as a MONSTER, a low-level at that, and to make things worse, I'm a GIRL... I'm pretty sure I was a boy in my past life though..." She walked back and forth as she exclaimed.
"Although I have now problem with that..." She looked down.
'Yep, flat as a board.' Sighing, she just took out an ice shard, sharp enough to penetrate the wolf's body and started looking for a mana stone.
Mana stones are unrefined mineral mineral that radiates raw magic. They are graded (E, D, C, B, A, S, S+) according to how dense the magic is inside. The stone may be the size of a boulder but have the density of 2.5 magic inside. It means, it only has 25 magic and is only grade E.
Mana stones are use by almost everyone. Alchemists, blacksmiths, and adventurers are the ones who mostly uses them.
Astarte found the mana stone, pinky-sized, and examined it.
'I have no idea how to know what grade a mana stone is...' She thought to herself before finally crushing it before putting it in her mouth. A faint gold light surrounded her body and she felt the magic surging through her veins.

'Damn, that tiny stone was a C grade stone? I zoomed through 7 levels and even got an extra skill from it.' Astarte rejoiced.
"Why does a measly wolf like you have a C grade mana stone in your body?" She looked at the dead wolf beside her. She shrugged as she then distributed the points she got from leveling up.
'Since I'm not a tank, I'll let my DEF be for now. I'll focus on INT, AGI, and Magical DMG since I'm a mage. INT for more total MP, AGI for my speed, and of course Magical DMG for my spells and active skills. Though I'm a mage, ranged fighting isn't my kind of style. I'd rather hit and run from different directions and luckily, this body really suits my fighting style. Flexible and light. However, my problem is my reach. This body is shorter than average. I don't even think it reaches 5 feet.
'I think I'll also add a bit to my Strength since I can't lift stuff if I'm weak af. To my physical DMG... Hmm, I think I'll add it to my priorities too. I can't always rely on my ice powers. What if I run out of Mana? I wanna punch a monster so hard it'll have a one round trip around the world. I just hope this body can take it. Though it's not a monster for nothing right?
Astarte finished adjusting her stats before she climbed on a large tree, set up traps around and slept for the night.
