Chapter-22

The beautifully decorated walls turned into muds and the expensive chandelier was smashed into pieces. Everything was a mess. Not only there was the presence of black magic but also the followers and monsters from the Demon Clan. There were more than thirty or forty of them. The students were running and guards were trying to block the attacks but guards were too weak for them. Demon Clan followers and monsters were around the three-star level or more than that. Most of them were in a shape of a human but one by one they started tearing their skin showing their true form. Huge bodies than humans with horns and sharp and longs teeth with long pointed nails and tails. They were shouting in a harsh tone altogether and smashing anything they find and they see. They were looking like a bunch of uncontrolled animals. Their attack was fierce and students keep crying out and run for their lives. Some were injured and some were already dead. 

Teachers who attend the fresher party are being useless, they either are running for their lives or trying to stop the monsters but whatever they do, they always failed in the end. Everyone was scared and feeling horrific. Everyone was helpless and thinking it's impossible, how can such a fine night turned into chaos. 

Seth starts wielding his sword toward monsters. He was fighting hard and I couldn't stand there looking at them. I take out my dagger and axe and start slaughtering followers one by one. It was not simple as I thought. These monsters and followers are more strong than I except. The more you slaughter them the more they increase in number. Looking at us, Seth and me slaughtering monsters other students also joined us, and the brutal battle began. 

On the other side, Ariana and Diana are using their magic and trying to stop the monster from harming the other weak students. Everyone trying their best not to die and hoping for help from the Academy even though they know it will take some time because the fresher party was held on a small island a few meters far away from the city, owned by the Academy. They know the bitter truth it will take more than half-hour for someone to arrive for their rescue, until then they have to do their best to be alive. 

Earlier than a half-hour, the rescuer arrived but who knew there was a person outside of the hall door standing and stopping them to enter. The sounds of explosion and screaming were coming louder from the outside. And here on the inside, I and Seth were already soaked into the blood. The monsters started to attack us in a group and punching us with their hard hands and tails. At least we were able to dodge and block most of the attacks from everywhere. Suddenly, in the middle of battle, my heart starts to pain. The more I use my strength, my heart starts throbbing crazily. It was an unexpected situation for me. I look around me, still, many students are laying on the floor injured and crawling and crying for their life. I couldn't act as blind and care about myself. I stand up ignoring the pain in my heart. I continue to slaughter the monsters and almost half of them were cleaned by us, Seth and Me. 

"Bravo," A man flying in the air enters while clapping his hand and all the left monsters and followers halt their attack. They turn toward him and wait for his order. He was flying in shadow and the more he comes near the light, my eyes widen to see the person. When we saw his face we were startled. Instructor Brad was controlling the monsters. It was an unpredictable twist. No one ever visualized Instructor Brad being the people of Demon lord. 

Everyone shouted and start swearing at instructor Brad but he acted as nothing going inside his ear and his ears were just itchy. He raises his hand toward the people who were yelling and they turned into ash in a blink. 

"Oops~they were moving their lips too much" Instructor Brad chuckles.

"You Rascal. How can you do this to your students" some instructors started shouting.

"Oh. I never thought of any of them as my student" Instructor Brad grinned.

He then starts ordering his troop to kill anyone who speaks. 

"What do you want? You Bastard" Diana speaks slamming her leg on the floor. 

"Oh my my. Who do we have here? The daughter of King" he chuckles and moves closer to Diana. 

"Don't touch me you bastard" Diana attacks Instructor Brad with her magic but nothing happens to him.

"That was a bad habit. You should respect your teacher" he sneered. 

Seth moved in a speed wielding his sword toward Instructor Brad but the instructor brand throws Seth a few meters away with his magic. 

"I don't want to waste my time. I will get straight to the points" Instructor Brad walked in the middle. "Fell honor you low ones, this great General of Demon Clan is personally going to punish you" he starts laughing like a lunatic. Then picking one by one student and killing but Seth and I keep interfering. This made Instructor Brad mad and he orders the monsters to handle us. 

Now, it was more than a group. Non-stop they keep striking. I was going to run off from energy but Seth was still energetic. While Instructor Brad was busy laughing like a lunatic, I somehow manage to get close toward Seth and told him to keep them engaged. He agreed. Diana and Ariana and the left one students start blocking the monsters and followers. Seth and Instructor Brad was having an intense battle. This was the best timing, I walked outside and saw the magic barrier around the island. I found the reason why no one is coming for the rescue until now. 

I touched the barrier but it throws me away with its electricity strike. I tried to break it but it was difficult. I didn't have much time, my pain was getting stronger and stronger and I have no idea when I will collapse. 

"Liva, can you sense the weak point of this barrier?" 

"Yes, master I can. There are four energy coming from around the island" 

"Guide me"

I rushed toward the places Liva was guiding me and I found one in the east part. I searched the place and dig the ground. There in the two-meter down of ground, I find the yellow stone. I took it with me and I rushed toward the south. I found the same yellow stone but it was pinned in the tree. Like that, I found the four yellow stones. 

"Liva, do you sense any more?"

"Yes, master, down to the seashore. I am sensing the powerful magic coming from there."

I rushed there but that place was guarded with the two huge giants. They were in grey and had two big horns. Behind them, there was a light shining and releasing a great amount of magic.

"Master, that is the main stone of barrier" 

"Okay, I got it" I walked in front of those two monsters. 

"Come out Liva" I didn't have much time to waste, I summon Liva.

"Yes, Master" Liva was in my hand spreading its energy. Two giants quiver for a bit due to the presence of Liva magic but they soon charged toward me. We had a ferocious battle. Neither they are giving up nor I. The battle proceeds for some minutes. I was already in bad shape and now it was worse. With my all energy and strength I fully charged toward the two giants I finally manage to slay one and cut down the leg of another. 

"GRRRRR BROTHER" 

"YOU LOW BEING, YOU KILLED MY BROTHER" the giant growled.

"Haha" I just smiled toward him. I was having a tough moment and panting heavily. I couldn't speak even a word but I continue to put my cold face in front of a giant, hiding my weakness. The giant rushed toward me with anger and in a violent way. The excruciating pain I felt from the punch of the giant was distasteful. I can hear the ribs broken and my jaw moved and my internal organs crying out. I coughed more blood but still, I didn't give up. 

"Liva absorb my mana"

"Wait I can't master. It's a risk. You don't have much mana left"

"Can you absorb that giant magic?" 

"Of course I can but still master, sucking your mana more than half. It's a risk for you"

"Don't discuss with me anymore. Do as I say and suck that ugly giant magic instant he falls on the ground" 

After Liva absorb my mana, without wasting any second, I aimed for the giant neck and slice it. Liva quickly absorbed the magic from the Giant. After that, I snatch the last yellow stone and crushed all stones at once. The barrier was gone. The saviors quickly enter the island and start massacring every monster and demon clan's followers. 

On the other side, Instructor Brad and Seth were having an aggressive war. Soon, Instructor Brad loses his concentrate after senses the barrier was broken. He quickly leaves the island with the rest of his force yelling," the war has begun".
