14 The Plague

Zena smirked while thrusting a hand, causing a dark spear to shoot towards Reziel's face while her eyes shone with unholy light.

Reziel swept her spear out, and with a defeaning clang, Reziel parried the dark spear and kicked at Zena's face.

Zena put her left forearm in front of her face while lifting the corner of her lips into a smirk.

A sound like muffled thunder sounded out as Zena flew back and shattered a building.

People came outside and looked up and saw Reziel's wings, bright and holy looking, flapping behind her.

Zena growled, a savage and rage filled growl sounded out as she pulled herself out of the rubble of the collapsed house.

Her wings flapped, and her silhouette vanished and reappeared behind Reziel, her hands changed, resembling claws, as they pierced towards Reziel's neck.

Reziel flipped in the air, and her heel met Zena's claws, and delivered an axe kick to Zena's pitch black feathery wings.

Humans looked up and pointed as the two supernatural beings fought in midair.

"Is that an angel!?"

"Lord save us from the demons!"

A cacophony of different voices sounded out as they screamed at each other.

When Zena heard a certain remark, her pupils turned into a sickly green as mist released itself from her wings.

The humans below backed away while Zeriel flapped her wings and a wall of flames burnt most of the mist away.

However, the mist churned and then shot towards the human that cheered for Zeriel and impacted his body.

The man flew back and crashed into the wall, then slumped over, blood leaking from his eyes and nose.

"He's dead, run!"

"Oh my god, what is happening!?"

"The world is ending!!"

Different voices shouted as the humans rushed to pick the man who hit the wall with concern and fear on their faces.

However, before they reached him, he stood up, his pupils a milky shade of white, and ran towards the nearest human while grunting and growling.

He leapt and dragged a woman nearest to him down to the ground, and bit her neck, causing the woman to scream shrilly.

Her scream echoed into the night while Zeriel looked over and her eyes filled with rage.

"You dare end the world without our consent!?" Zeriel threw her spear, which emitted a sonic boom and tore through Zena's wings, but while Zena fell, she flipped and threw an ball of condensed darkness at Zeriel.

Zeriel crossed her arms in front of her, however the impact sent her careening through the street and into a building on the other side of the street.

Zeriel shakily walked out of the ruins while golden ichor streamed from a gash in her arm.

She conjured a spear of light and was about to throw it at the infected human when Zena flashed in front of her with a grin on her face.

"Yes, I did end the world, but fear not, when you're crying beneath me, you'll come to enjoy the screams and chaos..." Zena trailed off while licking her lips with a smile.

The humans nearby that saw her action froze and then blushed ad their lower regions heated up.

Then the woman, with the man on top of her, rolled to the side and stood, and then lunged for the person nearest to her.
