CHAPTER 2

"Pour soul. Do you wish to continue your life? Do you wish to live again?" The voice soon became louder and clearer.

It was like a voice you can hear on an Ai. "You're gonna die today, my son. I wish to help you."

Geene did not hesitate. He answered. "Yes. I do." Even though he did not know who is he talking to or even what is he talking to, he still didn't wavered.

"If you want to then partisipate on my trial. You can live again if you win" The voice laughed weirdly. Geene felt very anxious yet hopeful.

"What if I lose?" He queried. The voice didn't respond for awhile. "Voice?" Geene asked, whispering. A spine-chilling laugh answered him.

The man realized that this mysterious thing definitely didn't appear here just to save or help him.

"You'll be with the God Of Hell. Your soul will be his forever." The voice answered with a hint of joy. Geene felt a tremendous amount of fear. His whole being shook. H-hell?

But still...

"I accept." Geene's voice were filled with determination as he speak. He doesn't want to die. Strangely, he really desired to live whatever the cost it may take.

"Hah! You really are stubborn. To think that God of Hell sent me here just to get your soul." The voice said. The young man was honestly very confused.

"If you wanted my soul then why not just take it?" Geene utter. He was really hoping to live again but what is this bullsh*t that he will just be with the god of hell and will be stuck there forever.

"Child, We cannot take your soul if you do not take part in this trial of mine because it will anger the God od Life. Also, This trial will be fair so do not lose hope, you might still get what you desire!" The voice affirmed.

Geene was undeniably doubtful of what the voice had said but he still grabbed the chance.

"Just go ahead and start! What's the trial anyways?" He probed.

"Simple. You just need a tear from a person who genuinely want you back." The voice happily announced. That easy? Is this thing stupid? Geene smiled, his hope is surging to the highest.

"But the deadline needs to be today." The voice added but Geene did not get nervous. He knows that many people would rush in the hospital and cry for him.

"Okay. Let's go to the hospital." He declared. Geene was so happy, he wanted to go back to his physical body sooner.

In a blink of eye. They came back to the hospital but this time Geene was in a white and dull room with many apparatus attached on his physical body. He looks so sickly yet peacefully sleeping.

"You just wait! I'm going to go back there sooner than the lightning." He cheerfully said while looking back at his sleeping body.

Not long after they came back, The door burst open. Geene saw an old woman. She was pretty even if her age was a little old, she is Geene's mother.

Dressed in a luxurious clothes, the woman could not calm down after seeing what state her son were in. Her breathing became unstable and she even staggered causing the doctor to support her feet to keep standing.

After knowing that Geene had a high chance of not awakening, Geene's mother paled. She immediately cried sorrowfully infront of his son.

Geene immediately collected the tears 𝚝𝚘 a transparent jar that the voice gave him.

A yellow shine was seen in his mother's tears. Although he doesn't know why it's like that, he was still happy! It just mean that he's going to go back now because of what he collected.

"You can't go back yet, Son." The robot voice enterupted. The joy in Geene's face immediately vanished and it was replaced by a fuming expression.

"What!? Why!" Geene roared with anger. His mother already cried! Why can't he go back yet? He thought.

Voice sighed. "Your mother don't want you back at all." He declared. Geene looks disorientated that's why the voice feels the need to explain. It said
