4 blessed bullets of a hard wired life

Kira had left long ago.

As silence had dawned on them earlier, Warrick decided Kira should hang out with her friends that day. She argued that Chichi was her friend, and she wanted to be with him, but the father negated her request.

She left in a whiny mood.

At the moment, both Chichi and Warrick had moved down the stairs, away from the starry sky on the ceiling above. The two males were quiet, finding there was no need to say anything much more than necessary.

The serpent images were slowly disappearing as they walked down what must've been 40 or 50 steps, the air getting slightly stale by the time they got down to the bottom. It was a room full of artifacts of all kinds, plain grey lino covering the floors as plain white walls surrounded the many contents the room held. There were items that Chichi could see, including daggers, cloths, helmets, small animal figures... likely anything and everything could be found at some point with a search of these shelves.

"We're here to look for the Gesegnet," Warrick notes. "It originated from Germany. The name of it directly translates to blessed."

Chichi hums in agreement, although he wasn't fully listening.

There was a gun that had caught his eye, and his attention was most definitely fully drawn. It radiated a familiar aura and was so shiny with metallic properties that it looked as though it had never been touched before in its' lifetime. Walking closer, he noted the thorny roses embedded into the side of it with stained glass, at least on the side he could see from where it lay on its' side. The roses bloomed near the handle, and were merely vines as they stretched across the barrel of the gun. Beside it was a small purple cloth bag that could fit in someone's hand, with a small embroidered rose near the bottom of it.

"Ah, I'm not surprised you felt drawn to it. That's the Gesegnet. The blessed gun," Warrick had appeared beside Chichi, startling him a little. How didn't he notice the older man get closer? "We only have one or two bullets left. They're imbued with angelic blood, supposedly, which is what gives them their blessed abilities."

Chichi could only ghost his hands over the metal of it. It radiated ice cold temperatures, and his fingers twitched with the feeling.

"You can take it. I'm happy to hand this on to you," He speaks quietly, taking a quick look around for any objects that were meant to go along with the item. "There's actually a pair of gloves and something else to go with it--"

"No," Chichi declined, the gun already in his hands as he felt the cold seep into his fingers, through to his arm. "I don't need anything else. Just the gun."

Warrick looked over with a slight frown, noting how the childish demon couldn't take his eyes off the gun. "It doesn't work on non-supernaturals. Humans practically won't feel it," He explains with genuine worry of what was going on inside Chichi's head.

"It's okay. I'm fine. I'm just going to... go."

He walked out slowly, eyes still on the Gesegnet, while Warrick watched the back of his head move out of the stale room. "Don't forget to cover up with your beanie, again!"

There was no response.

Chichi felt addicted to staring at the gun, to feeling it all over, and to rub the small pocket of bullets between his fingers, but had to hide it along with his identity as he walked out. He didn't expect one thing, though.

"A-Are you done?"

His eyes whipped up to see Kira's cutsie eyes staring up at him from right outside the lobby.

"Kira? Didn't you leave to hang out with friends or something?"

"But you're my friend... I wanted to wait for you." Chichi felt horrible for making her wait for him, although he knew it wasn't something he could have guessed. Maybe if he knew her a bit better.

"Look, let's go get ice cream or something, yeah?" The demon suggested, and her face absolutely beamed, the teary look long gone within seconds. He couldn't help but smile a little.

As they walked together, they held hands like an older brother would with a younger sister. The walk was quiet for once, Kira's voice keeping inside. At one point, he felt her start clenching his hand strongly. He looked at her questioningly, but her mouth was frozen shut. If anything, her silence was worrying him more than her voice could annoy him. She only relaxed a little once Chichi had shoved the two of them into an ice cream store.

"What's going on? You're so tense!" He hissed out in extreme worry.

"I... I saw..."

"Saw what? A scary animal or something? You don't have to worry-"

"--Another demon. I saw another demon, Chichi."

Chichi froze, the cold radiating from the Gesegnet hitting him like a truck in understanding.
