Over The Rainbow

The pain is overwhelming

It cuts and digs too deep.

The tears burn my eyes

And then fall down both my cheeks.

I'm missing you again

It aches my heart so much .

I just want to hold you

I want to feel your touch.

I want to grab your little fingers

And kiss your head goodnight.

I want to sing you a lullaby

And hold you oh so tight.

I want to feed you milk

And wake up to morning screams.

I want to rock you in my arms

When you have bad dreams .

I want to watch you walk

Just so you fall down,

So that mommy can pick you up

Help you smile and never frown.

Mommy will be right there.

Picking out your clothes

Brushing all that curly hair.
