Price of ones self

He pointed to a couch along one wall. "Please have a seat."

"Thank you," She removed her coat before setting down and he was floored by how beautiful she looked. He also felt he knew her from somewhere.

He could feel his man hood grow making his pants tighter. He wanted this girl even if it was just for a short time.

He could fool around with as many women as he wanted till he married Susan McDonald next year and he was taking advantage of it.

He had promised his grandfather that when he married he would be faithful and he never broke a promise. He did not love Susan, but it was not a marriage of love but a business transaction between his parents and hers. He would marry her because it was expected.

"How may I help you?"

"Mr. Wolf, I represent a Nonprofit organization that provides food and clothing for the homeless people of our fair city. Its called Caring Hands. We operate out of your newly bought building on second street. We're hoping that we can come up with an agreement on rent for the build. Most of or operating funds come from charity drives we host." She hands him the folder Carrie gave her. "As you can see right now we were paying five hundred a month to our old land lord and we are hoping we can continue the same rent from you. The difference in what we pay and what you could get is tax deductible."

He listen to her as he flips through the papers. To tell the truth they got the property to be a tax write off. They were planning on keeping the nonprofit at the same rate but now he had another plan.

"Miss Hood, may I call you Red, We were planning on tearing down that building to make way for a parking lot." He grinned at his lie.

"Please, this is really important to the community." She pleaded.

He could see the desperation in her eyes. "What are you willing to do to keep this building?"

"Anything, just name it. This project and the building means the world to the company and to me."

Jake stood and walked to the window. 'This is way to easy." She was like a fly caught in a spiders web. The big bad wolf was going to eat this little red riding hood up.

"I'll give you the building. Free and clear..." he paused.

"Really?" She could hardly believe her ears.

"If..."

Her heart dropped,"Yes?"

He turned back to look at her, "You give yourself to me for thirty days."

"What? Are you serious? What do you mean?" She had a bad feeling about this.

"You give yourself to me to use. For anything I need. A partner in and out of bed for thrity day and the building will be transferred to you to do as you wish. If not then the building will be torn down for parking."

"You can't be serious?" He had to be joking. Things like this only happened in books or movies.

"I never joke about business. Take twenty four hours to think about it. If you agree call this number and a contract will be given to you to sign." He handed her a business card.

She took the card and picked up her coat. She was shocked as he walked her to the elevator and rode down to the lobby with her.

"I'll be waiting for your call." He then took her hand and kissed it one more time.

No one had ever turned him down and he just knew she would call the next day. He was Jake Smith Wolf and he always got what he wanted.

Back at Caring Hands...

"Are you serious?" Carrie said.

"Yes, he said he would give the building to us if I give myself to him for thirty days." She was still having a hard time believing any of this.

"The answer is no. I have been looking at property on seventh down by the dock. The rent is a little higher and we may need to pull in the belt a little to make it to our next charity drive but we can manage."

"Thanks, I don't think I could do it even if I wanted to. I'm still a Virgin and plan to stay that way till I find the man I want to marry."

"I would never pimp you out for real estate. You are like a daughter to me and I promised your Nana I'd look out for you. Call the bastard and tell him no. Tell him we will be out by the first and to stick his offer when the sun don't shine. "

Lillian pulled out the card and dialed.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is Lillian Hood."

He grinned at hearing her voice. "I gave you twenty four hours it only been two."

"I don't need twenty four Mr. Wolf, the answer is no."

"No?"

"I am not a prostitute Mr. Wolf. The only man I will sleep with is my husband."

Husband? She wore no ring and she introduced herself as Miss.

"I did not know you were married."

"I'm not, but that is beside the point. I am sorry that we could not come to an agreement about the property. We will evacuate the building by the first. Good day." She hung up before he could say another word.

She told him No. Who was this girl to tell him No. Does she not know how lucky she was to be chosen by him. Any woman would fall allover him to get the attention he would of given her.

"Zane, get me all the information on this Miss Lillian Hood. I want a detailed report on my desk in the morning."

"Yes Sir"

Zane called three private investors and gave them her name and were she worked. He told them to work fast he needed the information by six am.

At six, Zane checked his email and found detailed records of the girl. He printed them out and placed them in a folder for his boss.

What was so special about this girl. He flipped through photos and his heart skipped a beat. She was the little redhead from high school. Their buddy, James, stole her red shawl and the boss got it back. What a small world this was. If he was braver back then he would have asked her out.

What did the boss want with her now?
