Day Three Part 2

"You were great." Jake said as he finishing off his Cranberry Orange Mimosa.

"Thank you but why do your mother and father want you to be unhappily married?" Lillian just could not understand their actions.

"You see it is greed. I have 40% of the company and Pop has 20%. Mom has 10% that dad is using and Mr. McDonald also has 10% and the rest of the board total is 20%. I just found out a few days ago if I marry Susan then her father would give my father his shares giving dad 20% and a bigger say in what the company can do."

"Over my dead body. Your father is an imbecile." Pop got up from the table, "Why don't you show this young lady around the grounds why I have a talk with my daughter and son in-law."

Jake took Lillian by the hand, "Woukd you like to see the garden? It has a Koi pond."

"Yes, lead the way." They walked off into the beautiful garden.

Grandfather Smith walked into his study. "Why must you make you son unhappy?"

"Father we are not trying to do that. If he would just give Susan a change he would be very happy with her. This girl has just clouded his mind." His daughter said.

"Bull crap. I can see how much this girl means to my grandson." Pop said.

"You need to stay out of this old man." said Mr. Wolf.

"You have never been worth anything to me. But I have always treated you with respect. I was going to retire and give my share to my daughter but now..." he shacks his head, "I guess I will give them to my new granddaughter-in-law."

He knew this would get his son-in-law's attention.

Mr. Wolf eyes lite up. "You mean who ever Jake marries will get 20% of the company?"

"No what I am saying is I like this new girl and I will give her 20% of the company when she marries my grandson."

Mr. Wolf looked down scrunching his face up. He only married his wife to get a hold of this company. He thought she would get the higher % of stocks when the old man stepped down as CEO but her gave them to his son.

"He will marry Susan and that is final."

"You'll see father this is best. I'll call her and her family over for dinner. You'll just fall in love with this girl. She is so much like me." Mrs. Wolf said pulling out her phone.

She called Mrs. McDonald and gave them the invite.

Pop just shook his head god help his grandson from these two idiots.

Meanwhile in the garden...

"I do want to thank you. When I made out the first contract saying you had to live with me as my fiancee I had not planned on all this." He said walking down the path.

"No problem." She was feeling guilty for taking the property for helping him now. She did not realize what a hard life he was living.

"Lillian....could I hold you hand?" He sounded like a lost boy.

She reached out and took a hold of his hand interlacing their fingers. They walked in silence for a few minutes.

He took his thumb and caressed the back of her hand, " Lillian could someone like you ever fall with a wolf like me?"

She thought for a moment and her heart melted a little. 'Yes, I think I am already falling for you.' She wanted to say this outloud but stopped herself.

He could sense her hesitation, "Never mind."

The walked to the koi pond and sat down on a bench.

"Jake.."

"Yes."

She paused for a second before placing her hand on his chest.

"You are not as bad as you make yourself out to be. Someone like me could fall for someone like you."

He the pulled her in for a hug, "Thank you."

He was happy that she could give him a chance. After a few moments later he released her. "Do you like horses, we could go ridding?"

"I've never been. Is it safe?" She asked.

He then had an evil thought. "You'll be safe with me."

They walked down to the stables and as she was watching the horses in the arena he came back with a beautiful black stallion.

He climbed up on its back. A servant the help the miss up to sit in front of the young master.

Jake wrapped his arms around her and set off down the horse trail.

After a while he asked, "Having fun?"

"Yes, Thank you." She could feel his breath on the back of head and felt all tingling inside.

"You take the reins then."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'll be right hear." He gave her instructions on how to make the horse turn and how to put presser on his sides to help direct him.

They spent all afternoon together. She could not help but grow fonder of him.

As they came back a servant met them on the patio.

"Sir, old master Smith told me to let you know that the McDonald are here for dinner. He had Zane bring the miss a dress for dinner." She said.

"Thank you Gege." he said.

"So lets go get cleaned up and ready for dinner."

"Do you think I can borrow a hair dryer?"

"Gege could you find a hair dryer for my love?"

"Yes sir I have one I'll bring it right up."

"Thank you"

They went up the back stairs as not to run into anyone.

This time she had a dark green dress with green lacey underwear and matching bar. The shoes were black with green bows.

She showered and while she was drying and styling her hair Jake too a shower.

Soon they looked like the perfect couple.

"Ready for round three?" he asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Then then headed down to the parlor.
