Day Five Part 1

Zane had just walked into the office when Mr. Wolf came to him. "Zane here is some documents that my son needs to sign for the merger to continue. I need them signed and back to my office asap so I can get them back to the court house."

"Ok, Jake will be in soon I'll send them right over as soon as he signs." Zane was a little surprised normally a office boy would bring all documents not Mr. Wolf himself.

Zane read through all the paper work and everything seemed fine then he noticed two pages stuck together. When he pulled them apart he seen one was a marriage license. He shook his head.

Jake showed up and Zane showed him what was given to him and Jake was now mad.

"Get my lawyer over here now." Jake yelled.

"Yes sir" Zane said and left to make some calls.

It did not take long for the lawyers to get back to Jake. He paid them enough that when he said jump they asked how high.

Jake explained everything that happened and what his father was trying to get him to sign.

"Mr. Wolf are you sure you want to file charges on Miss McDonald?" asked one lawyer.

"Only if she refuses to take the morning after pill. Zane has gotten one and She is on her way over here now. The pharmacist said it should still work today."

"Ok, Then what about these documents if you sign them then you will be married to Miss McDonald."

"So it would be legal then?" Jake adked.

"Yes sir as long as your father got a judge to sign them too."

He then got an idea. Excuse me just a second. He stepped out and went down to Zane's Office.

"Zane get me anyone that would marry Miss McDonald for money. I need them here right away. Have them sign the papers them bring them back up to me."

"How much?"

"Make it a million that is what my parents tried to pay Miss Hood to leave me."

"I Will be right up with them."

As Jake got back to his office the receptionist called and said Miss McDonald and her father was on their way up.

"So are you ready to be a man and take some responsibility for my daughter?" Mr. McDonald asked.

"No, but I will watch her take the morning after pill right now as my lawyer watch." Jake holds the pill and a glass of water.

"I won't do it! Besides it to late." She yells.

"Fine, Gentlemen you may file the rape case I'll send over the evidence to the lab right away."

"What evidence?" Mr. McDonald ask.

"The sheets and the tea set. They will prove that I was drugged by your daughter."

"Susan is that true?" Mr. McDonald asked.

"No daddy its not. They won't charge me will they?" Susan starts to cry.

"Yes Miss we will. If convicted you could spend five years in jail and have to register on a sex offender list. If you beat it you will still be dragged through court with the media covering it." Said one of the lawyers.

"This is ridiculous, Jake you are going to far." Mr. McDonald says.

"Then take the pill and they go away." He holds out the pill again.

"Susan do it. We could not show our face if this gets out."Mr. McDonald tells his daughter.

Crying Susan takes the pill and swallowed it. "Happy now you killed our baby."

Zane walked in with the papers and gave them to Jake. Jake looked at them and pretended to sign the said, "Zane take these back to my father and tell him to file them right away. I want this merger over with."

"Yes sir." Zane says taking the papers back.

"I'll go with you I need to talk to Mr. Wolf. Susan come along."

Jake smiled as they left. The person to sign the license was Jake Noland the janitor. He was a nice man.

Zane takes the paper to Mr. Wolf with Mr. McDonald following behind.

"Thank you Zane you may leave."

Mr. Wolf runs threw the papers till he finds the one he really wants. He glances and see Jake and folds the paper up not noticing that it's not his sons last name.

"Let go to the courthouse now and get the Judge to sign and file these. Then your daughter and my son will be husband and wife."

"Really?" Susan asked.

"Yes really my dear. Then lets move you into my son's penthouse." Mr. Wolf thought he was a smart cookie.

Mean while Jake had Zane pack all his and Lillian things and move them to his grandfather mansion. Then he got Jake Noland to move all his thing into the penthouse to wait for his new bride.

Lillian spent the day and eveing serving food to all her friends. Toby was glad to be back with everyone paying attention to him, he loved being petted.

When everything was done and cleaned up Toby and her headed home. Outside her place was the Mercedes-Benz that belonged to Jake. She shook her head.

She still could not read the text message or listen to the voice messages he left.

When he seen her coming from the bus stop he got out of his car.

"Can we please talk?" Jake asked.

"It doesn't matter Jake. I don't belong in your world." She said walking past him.

"Please talk to me, I promise if I can't make it better I'll leave."

"Ok come up." She did not have the strength to fight him right now.

He felt happy that she was giving him a chance even it it was a slight chance.

She let him into her apartment and they sat down.

"Susan drugged me. I think my parents help her. I made her take the morning after pill. Then today my father tried to trick me into signing a marriage license and I got back at him by getting someone else to sign."

"And this changes my mind how?"

"Lillian I love you. I will move hell and high water to have you. Please give me a chance." He was now holding her hands.

She stared at their hands and a tear ran down her face.

"I don't want to be hurt?" she said in a small frail voice.

"Please don't cry. I can't promise to never hurt you, but I can promise to always be by you side." He did not want to lye to her.

She shook her head.
