5 In the City

While enjoying the White Stag meat. I was shocked and... proud for some reason. The grin of control and domination is a smile that will incite fear in anyone.

Yet i am...confused. Her bright side and the demonic side is a total opposite. She is intelligent, maybe even more than i. So is this a plan to get me on her side? Or is it just...still... devilish child behavior?

Well no matter what she do i will be on her side. I will aid her even if she fights the whole world. We are one. It Will mean nothing to me to act righteously on the long run. I will be her guardian until she die..

"Did you get the soul gem?" I asked in a still bit shaking voice.

"The gem? Yes i crushed it with the blade. So i am able to use level 1 and 2 Earth magic. I can throw some pebbles. and on a side note i got the "Body of Deceit". Is it allows me to transform myself into something else?"

Ohh. So thats why the didn't find the White Stag it was in a different form. And when the Adventurers left. He thought he is in peace. So thats why he didn't used it.

"Well now you can go into the city without any proble-...." Before i was able to finish my sentence she already did.

She wasn't any different only her ears where it should been, her tail disappeared and, her paws turned back into human hands. We said goodbye to the forest and left before we known we were on a dirt road. We followed it and after about an hour we arrived in a small city. For its small size it was lively. Merchants shouting to buy their goods. Adventurers going in-and-out while talking about their latest haul. When i was alive i had telepathy skill. And since we are one we both can use it in fact i can use all of her skill if i ever want but i won't interfere. It was as useless as i thought. But now it has its worth. But what she don't know i can also block it so no one can interfere withy monologue. She don't mind that.

"I recommend joining to an adventure guild." i spoken with telepathy.

"Why?" She responded.

"Well it is the easiest of ways to get huge money..The thing that you lack of. And with your skills and stats you could easily become the very best." I said while a human phased through me.

"hmm" Hummed in an agreeing tone.

Soon we found a guild it looked like any other house in the city only thing stands out is giant board saying "THE GUILD OF ENRAGON".

We stepped closer and closer to the receptionist.

"He *barf* eey arreee yoy waaant to beebe and advvanttruer?" The bald guy said until he collapsed to the table in a drunken stage.

As the tradition says it was a female receptionist with a blue coat indicating that she is a guild member.

"Can i help you with something?" Said in a robotic anempathetic voice. Probably seen many childs going in to the guild wanting to be an adventurer.

"I would like to be an adventurer if i can." Fenrir said in a tone and moves like she would be in the royal family. Even the receptionist woke up or at least caught unguard.

"Well..continued after a brief pause...There are tests to say that we do to determine your fighting capability."

It was an obvious lie. These "tests" are here to make sure that no brats try to join go the guild.

"Okay. responded Fenrir in an instant.

We been lead to the back of the guild. But not long walk later we found ourself in an arena of sort. Where a pack of Ironhide boars lived.

"Are you sure that you want to go in? said the receptionist in a more serious and mature tone. Probably wants us to chicken out and run. She don't know that we hunted these on a daily basis.

"I still want to go." replied Fenrir in a serious voice.

After a deep sigh the gates were open and i and the girl went in facing against the boars.
