Reviews of Little Purple

I read the first draft of this story when it was on Wattpad and remember binging through the first 200+ chapters within one weekend because I just couldn't put it down. I've read plenty of Chinese wuxia novels to the point that many stories start to overlap in my mind, but this one is probably the most unique wuxia/ xianxia story I've read. The author has such a vivid imagination and talent for storytelling that I was engrossed in her world. This story has it all. Romance, family, friendship, martial arts, magic, and palace intrigue. You know, I'm tired of the old evil-and-neglectful-parents-and-siblings trope. It's fine to see it in novels, but not when it's in EVERY novel. This story went the extra mile and actually got me to like and care about characters that were not just the male and female lead. The villains were interesting, too. They weren't all just your cookie cutter, greedy people who wanted to hurt the main characters for no reason. Actually, some of the people who seemed like they would be the villains of the story turned over a new leaf halfway through and became some of my most favorite characters. This is probably the first blind girl FL story I've seen where the MC is not initially weak and gentle or someone that needs to be taken care of (not that there's anything wrong with that). Even before Hu Zi starts to train and cultivate her powers, she is never a pushover and even talks down to her bullies. Her siblings always stand at her side and defend her if she needs them. For a while, I was confused about the ML because I wasn't sure exactly who he was but it all becomes clear in due time. He's one of the best parts of the entire story. Each of the siblings gets a spotlight of their own, and you can't mistake one for the other. The tragedy that the synopsis mentions broke my heart but even if you're someone who can't take tragedies, I still don’t recommend passing this novel or dropping it. The stuff that comes afterward will mend your heart. If you're looking for something fresh, memorable, and more original, you came to the right place.

I absolutely love this book! The author is not only creative but also skilled in their work. They know exactly how to move an audience and get them hooked. Once I picked it up I simply couldn't stop, it was so addictive 💓. Not to mention the magnificent writing style and intriguing characters, the plot is dynamic and my emotions were a whirlwind when I was reading. Craving more updates and would recommend this as a must read 😄

I once read this book in wattpad long ago....maybe last year?2018....idk..but trust me...this story is superb.When Eneres stopped writing this story in wattpad i never thought i would come across it on webnovel again.

Too good I almost burned my eyes blind reading through the chapters in wattpad in the dark after being introduced to it before it was rewritten. While the plot was rather surprising(to me at least), it never failed to amuse me.

A real gem of a story, it's a breath of fresh air from all the other stories I've read on WebNovel. I love all the characters. You won't regret reading it.

At first I thought the story was dragging on because we don't actually start off with the synopsis-that's volume two. I really appreciate the author's effort to develop relationships outside of the female and male lead. It seems all for naught given their endings but I think it really gives the reader more impact and understand where Hu Zi is coming from. In fact, volume one is almost like a prequel.

Okay, the flow and grammer were a little rough in the beginning, but I’m glad I gave this story a chance. This is an absolute gem! The characters are three-dimensional and well developed, and I just loved seeing them grow! It makes me cry when I read what happens to them in the later chapters, but that just shows how well the author wrote them. I also usually see a lot of bad romance, but rest assured, this is not one of those! I really admire how the author managed to write so many satisfying and realistic pairings. It’s rare for me to ship more than one couple in a single story! p.s: huhu, the latest chapter still gets me though! be prepared!😭😭😭

This story is very original and rare. This is so good, I don't even know where to start the review. Let's see, the writing quality is amazing, every detail was flowing, and it gave so much feeling. I can tell that the author really loves her characters so much. Stability update, she updates once a day even on her exams, lmao. Story development, the best, the twists and the ships are beautiful and exciting. Character design, Hu Zi isn't weak, she is both strong even though she was blind; she stood up to the things she loves. I like it, especially when she reprimands the males and pushed their courage so they would marry her sisters. Apart from Hu Zi, my favorite characters are Qing Guang, she is cold as cold as ice but somehow funny and smart. Her household is very different than Hu Zi's and I thought that she would turn up like other ancient CN genre noble girls but nope lmao. World background, as far as I know, this world is not what it seems. At first, it was just a normal historical CN background with fantasy involved. But then, everything turned different. I will make a special review that involved some spoiler just in case you don't wanna hear it here. To be honest, I am in WN just to see the manhua but then stumbled at this story I read from long ago, I forgot most of what happened but still, I remembered that I cried a lot and laugh a lot while reading it. I like reading comic more than novel but this one cool, and she seemed to want to make a comic version on Tapas and that got me excited, I think I will go to Tapas too once I clean up my memory space lol.

This is very different from most of the other web novels I've read but in a good way. Even though it's an original, we get one chapter almost every day like the premium translations. I'm very thankful toward the author for this. Please read this highly underrated story.

This book has more than one thing that makes it stick out from the rest of the crowd, they are in depth thought to construct the plot, believable and realistic storyline and characters, deep insight into their personalities and motives and general background, and last but not least panache. 🤗😄

This is such a sad book yet I can’t keep my eyes away from this and I keep rereading the book. I seriously want to know if this has a tragic ending or not. I sincerely don’t want to drop this book but I’m a coward and I hate hate hate sad endings. Will shou come back alive? I guess I have to keep reading to find out. Ugskksjakksladkabdak. I was extremely intrigue the first time I read the overview of this novel and after finishing reading the past chapters am not disappointed. The story and the characters moved the readers into their world of ecstatic joys, surprise, love, extreme disappointments and sadness, anger etc.

This is pretty interesting story!!! Even the beginning of the story is interesting, and it makes you wonder how she got purple eyes, is it from being blind or from her parents? But anyways I can't wait for more chapters to further explain the synpyosis, and to also see a character growth from the female lead!! Even though it may be slow to update I'm saving this to my library because of the interesting story line.
