Before Mu Jianyu went home, he received a phone call from Lin Meirong, informing him about her meeting with Li Xiuying that afternoon. She insisted that Ying was lying, that she was faking her amnesia. 

"She's lying to you. Why can't you see that? Your wife remembers everything," Lin Meirong told him over the phone. 

Mu Jianyu was momentarily stunned at her words, wondering if she was telling the truth or not. Does Ying truly remember him? Did she not forget what he'd done to her? Or was it yet another lie from this woman? 

"Stop this already, Lin Meirong. Whatever you say or do, I won't leave my wife for you,"

"Even if she is lying to you? I'm telling you that she's playing with you! Mu Jianyu, why can't you see that she's lying to you? She was unlike what people thought of her. She isn't a kind woman. She's heartless!"
