"My lady, it's time to get up. You need to get ready since you have a meeting with his majesty the emperor today at the Imperial Palace." - Ah, this is such a pain in the ass. Like why do I have to go?! I never signed up to be the Lady Vivienne Hernandez of The Shire of some fantasy book! A fantasy book called 'Mark of a Star' a book trending back in my world.

When I thought I finally had the life I always wanted. The life of leaving home and be able to read the books I've always desired to read but was never allowed by my family. I had the anxiety of reading 100 books for one day without resting my eyes. While living my life with my family, I began working when I was only 10. When I was 10, I worked at a shampoo factory for one and a half year. Then I became a cook in a restaurant for another one and a half year. After some time, I began working in a different type of job sectors. I became a singer, an actor, a dancer, a doctor, a businesswoman, a lawyer. I became a con artist my parents would say but I worked hard to reach what I desired the most, books. After some time, I moved out and I finally had my freedom. I bought my library full of books. I read almost 500 books every week. And then I came across that book....it makes me angry just thinking about what happened after I read that book, why? After reading that book, I fell asleep and by that, I mean I fell into a very deep sleep from which nobody could awaken me.

Who could have thought the famous "Maria Gracia" died due to overworking (reading of course) herself. And is now within the last fantasy novel she just read after she died?! And of all characters why would, it has to be the villainess of the story?

*why? why? why? why? why? why? of all characters why would I end up being Vivienne?! Is this fate? maybe it is! I will just have to accept it anyway! But I cannot!! Somebody just kills me already! * - crying, sobbing, trembling in her own little world. *

"A-ah...Is my lady you alright?" - my nanny seems scared. Of course, she is cause I'm the villainess and she's also worried because I just woke up from a deep sleep.

Right now, I am only 16 years old. I fell ill when I was 11 and I fell in a deep sleep ever since. I just woke up last week and at first, everyone was so scared by just standing beside my bed. But then when my stomach grumbles, everyone rushed out of my room for the kitchen. I only sat there sighing before turning my head towards my window. Wondering how I will change the life of this girl.

I am Maria Gracia, the famous con artist in my previous life but now I'm Lady Vivienne Hernandez of The Shire, the only daughter of Duke Ronald Hernandez the greatest warrior of the Imperial Palace. My mother Lady Francesica Hernandez of the Shire daughter of the House of Monaco, the most magical family in the world married my father through a contract marriage for peace for the two houses. My father was cold towards my mother at first but then he started opening up to her one by one. Until tragedy fell upon my family when she died. My mother died when I was only 5 years old, I don't know why because it was never mentioned or explained how she died in the novel. All that was ever mentioned was Vivienne's mother died young. So, the only thing I've ever guessed was that she died from an illness. Vivienne lived a hard life ever since her mother died. Her father became cold towards her even the household mistreated her because of course just like any other rich girls she was a spoiled brat. She got bullied by other noble's children and has been secretly abused by her teachers due to her attitude until she fell ill when she was 11 and then fell into a long 4 years of sleep which everyone thought she might never wake up again.

In the novel, I'm the villainess and my cousin "Lady Lily Rodriguez of the Hrunei" is the heroine of the novel. In the novel, I was a spoiled brat and only thought about wealth when I was 7. By the time I turned 9 I visited the palace with my father but then I got lost in the Imperial garden, then that's how I met the prince. My first glance at him and that's the moment I fell in love. Ever since my dramatic meeting with the prince at the Imperial garden, I've been nudging my dad to let me marry him. When I woke up from my illness the emperor sends a message asking me to come to the palace so we could decide when we'll be announcing the engagement to the public. Like whom the heck would want to marry when they just woke up? When our engagement is going to be announced publicly that's when my cousin Lily shows up, on the announcing day. She arrived late only to awe the party with her beauty. That just makes me piss off like how dare she seduce my soon to be husband. And how dare he fall for her tricks?!

Lily is the real villainess here. She stole away my father's trust, took away my title, took away what I build up on my own and more importantly my happiness. She destroyed me! Until I rebelled against my father and my people along with that two-faced b*tch! That's why I'd do anything to change my fate and that begins with breaking off this sick marriage.
