1 The funeral

In the central cemetery, a group of people were on Katharina's funeral, a woman of only 25 years, whose death seemed like a group of coincidences sent by heaven. All the people were very disconsolate, but all of them looked at a young man with a hint of resentment in their eyes. This young man was the boyfriend of the poor dead woman and he began with a series of coincidences that led to her death.

It all started a month ago...

Katherina was a woman with everything in her life, she had just finished her college career, she came from a good family, she had no illness or debt to pay and she had a stable romantic relationship of more than 4 years, with which she expected to marry. Until one day she saw her boyfriend kissing another woman and feeling cheated, she accepted a job that had been offered to her in another country and without asking her boyfriend for an explanation, she traveled.

The truth was that her boyfriend was kissed by that other woman and he rejected her, so it was just a simple misunderstanding. But Katherine simply assumed the worst, so she decided to leave. Who would have expected that the pilot had been drinking the night before the flight and that the co-pilot had fallen asleep while the pilot vomited in the bathroom? That group of coincidences caused Katherina to die on the flight.

It was a quick death and she was one of the lucky few because her corpse was recovered. Those were the words that the airline gave to comfort her parents and family but for them, there was no consolation for the death of her daughter.
